I got all my men together in the garage where the cars were waiting for us. We went over the plan first we need to meet Edcardo and his men 2 blocks away from the meeting place. Then we will send 2 of my men and 2 of Edcardo’s men to help Damon and his men finish all the men that was left at Costa’s place. Damon told me there was no sign of his wife and daughter for the past few days. Hopefully they were out of town. The men that go with us to the meeting place will take out Costa’s men. I want everyone taken out. There is no space for any of Costa’s men in my city anymore. This is my city and no one will threaten me again or try to take over from me. We all got in the cars and Luca was driving. “Luca you okay to go in with me?” I asked him after yesterday’s incident. “Hell, yes boss, I want to watch how you put a bullet in that mother fuckers head.” “Good, so I’m taking you and Enzo in with me.” We drove to the meeting point, Edcardo got out of his car with his bodyguard. “Edcardo” “Marchetti” “You ready to take this mother fucker out?” “I can’t wait, there is no place for back stabbers in our line of work.” “I agree fully with you. Did you decide who will go and help Damon and his men?” “Yes.” “Good send them with Davide.” Edcardo spoke to his bodyguard then he disappeared to get the 2 men that will assist at Costa’s house. “Edcardo I’m taking Enzo and Luca in with me.” “I’ll just take my bodyguard Marchetti, I’m sure he will see the full force of us.” “Good. Then let’s go.” We all got back in our vehicles and drove to Romana’s warehouse where they where planning on meeting. When we stopped one of Romana’s men showed us where to leave the cars for Costa not to see us. Then all our men got in position. Edcardo and I walked into the office looking for Romana. “You ready Romana?” I asked as we walked in. “Yes Marchetti, but what is the plan.” “Well Romana, Edcardo and I will wait for Costa to make his pitch to you and then when I think it’s the right time Edcardo and I will walk out.” “And then?” Romana asked. “Then I’ll listen to him ask him what I want to know and then Romana I’m putting a bullet in his head.” “You serious Marchetti?” “Off course I’m serious Romana. You think I will let him go and just go on with life as it is. He tried to kill me multiple times. I’m just going to show him how it’s really done.” “I understand.” Romana said, he didn’t look very happy but I didn’t give a shit it’s time I show people not to mess with me. Edcardo and I went to the room next to Romana’s office, I needed to hear everything to decide when to make my appearance. Edcardo’s bodyguard and Luca and Enzo joined us. We heard cars pulling up, everyone knew they wait for the gunshot inside before war breaks loose outside. I have Damon on speed dial when Costa is taken care of, they can go into the house and take care of the rest. We heard footsteps then Costa’s voice.
“Romana so nice to see you, my friend.” “Costa, welcome. Something to drink?” “You know me to well old friend.” Costa was trying way to hard I thought. “Saluti.” “Saluti.” It went quiet then Romana asked “So what is so important you need to talk to me about Costa without Marchetti and Edcardo?” “I have a proposal for you.” “What kind of proposal?” “Before we come to that Romana, did you hear what happened in Italy?” “No, I know Marchetti went there but I have no idea what happened.” Good Romana was sticking to the scrip. “Then I have bad news for you Romana, Marchetti is not who we thought he was.” “Why?” “He killed Bernardi and then yesterday he killed the reporter he told us to leave alone.” “Fuck Costa, this is not good I have all my trust in Marchetti, how can he do this to us. To kill Bernardi. Do you know, was there a reason he did that?” “No, he just walked into his house and shot him and then I heard he met with the Camorra family. Can you believe it the Camorra family I’m very sure they put him up to it, to kill Bernardi.” “But why?” Romana asked still playing his part. “Why would the Camorra family want Bernardi dead?” “I have no idea but why else would he do it.” Jeez Costa you talking a lot of shit. Edcardo looked at me whispering, “You just going to leave him talking shit about you?” “It’s not the right time to go in yet we need him to tell Romana about the cartel.” “Now what is this deal I won’t be able to say no to Costa.” “I want to take Marchetti and Edcardo out.” “What do you mean out Costa?” “I want them dead Romana.” We could hear Romana’s chair scraping against the floor. “Are you fucking crazy!” Romana screamed at Costa. “Romana sits down and listen to me.” “I think you’ve hit your head or something Costa, Marchetti is our leader and Edcardo is a long-life friend.” “Romana sits down. Friends and business are two different things.
