After I woke Bella up from her erotic dream, I decided I have two missions on this trip. 1st Mission was to sort out the Cartel, my 2nd mission was to get my Bella back under me in bed. Her body is definitely ready for me it was just her head we need to convince, but I’m sure we will be able to do that. It was clear she wanted it as bad as I did. I was very impress with myself when I could tell her the Hotel, we were staying in was used in the Series The Lotus season 2. I didn’t know much about TV but for some reason I knew this, I must have read it somewhere because I didn’t watch the series. We were walking into the dining room Bella staring at everything when I noticed and older man sitting in the dining room alone with someone behind him. When we got closer, I saw it was none other than Bernardi. “Fuck not yet” was all I could say, there was so many things to get ready before I spoke to him. I saw Bella look at me, “What’s wrong?” “Bernardi is here.” “How did he know we will be here?” “Very good question Bella, when we sit excuse yourself to go to the lady’s room then phone Luca and Enzo to join us, please sweetheart.” “Okay Massimo” We walked towards Bernardi when we reached him, he got up, “Massimo just the person I was waiting for.” “Bernardi, nice to see you. This is my wife, Rachel.” “Rachel this is Bernardi.” “Nice to meet you.” Rachel said. “No darling it’s my pleasure.” Bernardi said. After the introductions Rachel excused herself to go to the lady’s room. Both Bernardi and I got up when she left. “How did you know I’ll be here Bernardi?” “Nothing happens in Italy without me knowing.” He would be surprised if I gave him the other details. But for know I’m going to leave him. Rachel came back and not even 5 minutes later Enzo and Luca joined us. Rachel was sitting on my right and Enzo on my left. Luca was standing behind me. “I see you don’t trust me Massimo.” “Not true Bernardi but Enzo and Luca will be with me during all our meetings.” “Even meetings between you and me?” “Every meeting Bernardi.” “Fine and your beautiful wife?” “My wife has better plans than to listen to us Bernardi.” Rachel just smiled at him. She knew I didn’t want her near this. We ordered food but it didn’t taste as great as I knew it could. There were just too many questions unanswered with the Cartel before I spoke to Bernardi but here he was. He tried to speak multiple times and every time I said not know. When our dinner was finished the waiter asked if we wanted some dessert, I knew Bella would love some tiramisu, but I wanted her to go to the room. Luckily for me she said, “No thank you, I think the travelling is catching up with me. If you would excuse me, I think I need to go lie down.” Bernardi got up took her hand and kissed it. I wanted to take the steak knife and cut him for touching her, but I can’t because he was one of the oldest Mafia families. “I’ll walk you back to the room.” “No need Massimo, Marco is waiting for me.” I gave her a kiss and whispered in her ear. “Thank you, Bella.” She just gave me a kiss and walked towards Marco.
“Now that your women went to bed, lets talk business.” “Bernardi, I respect you, but don’t disrespect my wife she gave up her dinner with me to sit through a dinner with you, at least be thankful I didn’t asked you to leave.” “You wouldn’t?” “And why not? You weren’t invited. Give me one reason I shouldn’t have asked you to leave. I’m here because you can’t handle the Cartel, because you are too old to deal with them, don’t forget it.” “You should have respect for me, I’m much longer in this business than you.” “And that is the reason I didn’t asked, you to leave. So be respectful towards my wife.” “Fine. Now can we get back to business?” “What do you want to discuss Bernardi?” “What’s your plans with the Cartel?” “Bernardi, I need more time in Italy to get the lay of the land.” “I told you the lay of the land Massimo, now I want them out of my land.” “I need to see where they are selling how big of a part, they took Bernardi.” “I gave you all the information Massimo, now deal with it. I’m setting the meeting for Thursday.” “We said Friday Bernardi.” “Yes, so? What will you learn out of one extra day?” “A lot” “Well whatever you want to do, do it quickly I’m done waiting I want these people of our land.” He got up and walked out with his bodyguard. “Fuck” “You could say that again boss.” Enzo said. “Well, this got a bit harder, we need to work faster and get all the information. If you guys could get all your contacts and question them then we know exactly where to go and who to question. If we have to search for the dealer’s it’s going to take more time.” “Okay boss we will try again.” I got up and walked to our room. I was furious because Bernardi ruined our first night in Italy. I wanted it to be special for Rachel. When I entered our room, I saw Bella was lying in bed already a sleep. I’m sure the travelling must have taken everything out of her. I walked outside to the patio and start to make some calls to the people in Napoli I knew we needed to know specifics before we leave tomorrow. We needed to go straight to the dealers and not look for them. After my third call, I had a good idea where the Cartel was dealing and who was dealing for them. I poured myself a glass of scotch and sat on the patio looking out on the mountains. I always loved this view. And bringing My Bella to this special place made me happy. Tomorrow Davide and Aldo will find out what they can in Milan and I will get all the information in Napoli, Wednesday I can put all the information together and from Friday I can give all my attention to Bella. I couldn’t wait for that…
