Massimo
I was lying in bed next to Bella, thanking God she slept through and wasn’t sick during the night. This must be a good sign. I know it is selfish of me but I really hoped she was pregnant. I slipped out of bed and went to my office, there was a call I wanted to make to Paris. Last night when I couldn’t sleep I thought of the best Christmas decoration and immediately thought about the Eiffel Tower as well as the Louvre. I decided to phone the concierge at the Hôtel Plaza Athènèe and asked him to find me a Glass Eiffel Tower and Louvre. I’m one of their best clients, so that won’t be a problem. And I wanted to find someone to make a replica of her engagement ring as an ornament. I’m sure that would make up for my reaction yesterday. I phoned the Hotel and the concierge said he new just the place to find the best Christmas decorations. When I was done with Paris I decided to ask Bianca to go and get Bella a Hazelnut Ice Latte, she said she kept that down yesterday. So lets start there. When I opened my emails all the families had send their list. This is magnificent, now we can start on this, I wanted to take Bella out but I think she should rest today. We could rather start on these list and be cosy inside today.
There was a small knock on my office door before Bella pop her head into my office. “Can I come in?” “Off course sweetheart you don’t need to knock ever.” “Morning love” she gave me a kiss on my cheek. “Morning sweetheart, slept well?” “I didn’t get sick through the night so I see that as, yes I slept well.” “I’m very happy to hear that. How are you feeling?” “Better than yesterday.” There was a knock on my door again, “come in Bianca” “Morning boss, Rachel. Here’s you’re ice coffee.” “Thank you.” Bianca left us giving Bella a curious look and Bella must have reacted, because Bianca looked relieved. “What was that?” “What Massimo?” “Nothing love” “are you sure?” “Yes off course. Now what are we doing today.” “I wanted to take you out to all the Christmas decorations around New York, but maybe it would be better if we stay in, for you to totally heal up. I have a surprise for you next week and you can’t be sick.” “What surprise?” “If I tell you it won’t be a surprise will it?” “I love your surprises but it doesn’t mean I’m not curious. Give ma a clue.” “The only clue I’ll give you is you’ll need to go and buy an evening dress.” “I have many evening wear.” “Won’t you need something new?” “No I already decided I’m wearing my engagement dress. Or is that to formal?” “No it’s perfect.” “Now I’m very excited.” “The families send all the paper work, we can start on that if you don’t mind, I need to figure this out as soon as possible.” “Off course, but first I need something to eat, I hope my stomach can handle pancakes because I’m in the mood for your pancakes if you don’t mind Massimo.” “How on earth can I say no to you, especially after you’ve been so sick.” “Thank you Massimo, have I told you lately how much I love you?” “Yes, but you can tell me again.” She walked over to be and laid her head against my chest giving me a hug. “I love you more than anything Massimo.” “Me to sweetheart, me to”

While Massimo was busy making pancakes I went to the bathroom. I felt much better than yesterday, I wanted to make an effort with how I look today. The past two days I looked like shit. Today I at least wanted some make-up on my face and my hair done properly and not just in a messy bun. While I was busy finishing for the best pancakes I thought of how Massimo caught the look between me and Bianca, we’ll obviously needed to be more careful. Then I thought about the braai we’re going to have on the 24th and it hit me it might snow and then what. I was still in the middle of doing my make up when I ran into the kitchen, Massimo turned around “What’s wrong Bella?” he got such a fright “I was busy doing my make-up when I realised it might snow the 24th and how will we have our barbeque then, I was looking forward to that.” “Jeez Bella you almost gave me a heart attack. It’s no problem.” “Off course it is, you can’t stand in the snow.” Massimo turned off the stove and took my hand “Where are we going?” “I want to show you something.” He took me to the outside area that was divided in a lounge and dinning area. “Yes I’ve been here before Massimo and it’s open.” “Just relax Bella. Press that button.” “Why?” “Bella, just do it.” When I pushed the button a glass type of divider came down from under the roof, closing the dining area as if you’re in an iglo. “Oh my God Massimo it’s beautiful.” “Thank you Bella, see nothing to worry about, I should have closed it as soon as the winter started, but I had other things on my mind.” He grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder. Giving me a slap on the butt. “Massimo but me down.” “No you doubt me, I think you’ll need a spanking.” “And I think if you don’t put me down I might vomit on your back.” “Oh fuck sorry Bella.
