“Good evening officers, how can we help you?” “We need to speak to Mrs Marchetti.” “Whatever you want to say to her you could say to me.” “Fine” the one officer said. “Mrs Marchetti could you tell us what happened?” Bella looked at me then at the officers. “As you could see officers my wife is still traumatized it will be appreciated if you come back tomorrow, or better never.” “Mr Marchetti we can’t not come back it’s our job.” “This is actually an FBI matter officers.” “How? They have no jurisdiction in this kind of case.” I didn’t know what to say but then Frank walked into the room. “Massimo sorry it took so long. Officers how can I help?” “Who are you?” “I’m the FBI agent that has apparently no jurisdiction here.” Frank answered them. “Why exactly is this an FBI case.” “It’s above you pay grade.” Frank said. The officers didn’t like that at all. “Fine, but we still need a statement from Mrs Marchetti.” “I’ll send you one, don’t worry about that, which precinct are you from? Because this crime started in the Hamptons if anyone is getting a statement it would be the Hamptons police station.” The one officer tried again. “We would appreciate a statement agent.” “Give me your card and I’ll send you one,” Frank said. One of the guys tried to take Dani but she fought back while another took Rachel and gave her a sedative as well. I was lying in bed listening to the officers and Massimo that didn’t want to give them information, I did understand why I just didn’t know how we were going to get out of this. But then Frank walked in and put the officers in their places. I didn’t want to speak to anyone about what happened, not to mention the police. I knew Massimo will take care of Anton. While Massimo spoke to Frank, I realised in this life it’s not safe for me to live with my head in the sand. I needed to know what was going on at all times. Yes I saw the men leave at our wedding but I just didn’t want to know why I also remembered Damon asking Dani to speak to her before we left.
