Luca and I were on our way home. I want to take Bella out for dinner tonight, maybe go for a ride through Central Park, just to get her out of the house. My phone rang but I decided not to answer it, if there is anything going on it can wait till tomorrow. Then my phone went quiet but started ringing again. When I look at the caller ID, I saw it was Damon calling. ‘Fuck this is going to be more problems’ I thought to myself. “Damon?” I answered a bit irritated “Massimo can you meet me at your club?” “I’m on my way home Damon I want to take Bella out on the town to celebrate.” “Massimo I wouldn’t have asked if it wasn’t important.” “Fine we’re coming. Luca change of plans, we’re going to the club, Damon has something important to talk about.” Luca made a U-turn and we were of to my club. We stopped at the club when I saw Damon and all his men was already here. I walked to my office finding Damon sitting with a glass of scotch. Already I have a bad feeling. “This better be good Damon.” “We got some information from one of Costa’s guys that begged for his life.” “Yes and?” “Costa was going to meet with the Cartel tomorrow.” “Cazzo, Cazzo. Did that fucker tell you part of his deal with the cartel was to kill you, me and Edcardo?” “Yes, he did before I shot him.” “Do we still have Q?” “Yes.” “Get him to meet us here.” Damon called Q and told him to meet us at my club. “I’m sorry I ruined your plans for tonight, Massimo.” “It’s better to celebrate when everything is sorted Damon. But I will still be able to take Bella out tonight, Costa and all his men is dead and the cartel doesn’t know it yet.” “I tend to agree with you.” Damon and I was on our 2nd drink when Q walked into my office. Damon introduces me to him “Massimo this is Q” “Q do you know anything about the meeting with the Cartel tomorrow?” “All I know is, they were going to meet at Costa’s club at 5 pm tomorrow, the details of the meeting I have no idea.” “That’s all we needed thanks Q.” I told him. “So tomorrow we getting everyone ready to go to Costa’s club at 3 pm we need to look at the layout and where men can hide, we not going down Damon. We will fight for what is ours.” “Are you going to get Edcardo to assist?” “No Edcardo’s men are busy with surveillance on Romana, he made us a bit suspicious of him today.” “Fuck Massimo, can’t we just get a break?” “My thoughts exactly Damon.” We called all our men to the club and told them about the threat that is lying ahead of us. “Do everyone know what to do tomorrow?” “Yes” All our men said. When the men left, I look at Damon, “Damon let’s hope tomorrow is the last shit we have to deal with that is life threatening, I don’t know how much more Rachel will be able to handle.” “I feel you Massimo, I think Danielle is also on her breaking point. What she doesn’t understand is it’s not normally this dangerous, it’s just the last few months. Hopefully everything ends tomorrow.” “At this point we can only hope.” “Well Massimo I’m going to leave you and try and get some actual work done.” “See you tomorrow, Damon.” Damon left and I decided it’s still relatively early let me check the books of the club so long I haven’t been here in a few weeks. I called my manager to bring the books. I looked over the books and it seems like I didn’t have to worry about the club, my manager has everything under control. I got Luca in the control room then we where off home. I’m sure My Bella was stressing, not something I wanted her to do. When we entered the penthouse, Bella peek around the kitchen wall when she saw it was me, she came running to me and grabbed me around the waist. “You safe!” “I told you I will be Bella.” “Yes, I know but it’s better to see you.” “You wanne go out tonight, Bella?” “You serious Massimo?” I picked her up and turned her around in a circle. “Yes, Bella I’m serious.” “Thank God.” “You can say that again, but being totally transparent as you asked for, there is a meeting tomorrow with the cartel, they don’t know that Costa is dead. We got that information from one of Costa’s guys. So tomorrow Damon and I will make sure they withdraw from New York and never come back.” “Thank you for telling me Massimo I know you would have wanted to keep that information to yourself.” “I told you I’m not lying to you ever again Bella so I hope you ready for everything.” “I am Massimo.” “Let’s change the subject shall we, where do you want to go tonight, Bella?’ “Anywhere as long as it’s out of the house.” “Let’s start with a walk-through Central Park and go from there.” “That’s the best plan you had in a long time Massimo.” “Oh really?” I joked with her. “Yes really.” Then she ran towards the bedroom and I chased her to the bedroom. I grabbed her around the waist and threw her on the bed. “No no Massimo no funny business we’re going out I can’t wait.” I gave her a kiss in her neck then moved away. “Fine but later Bella.” “Later Massimo.” She disappeared into the closet and came out with a stunning red dress you can even see her growing belly. I love to see that to know I did that. To know it’s my children growing in her belly. “You look absolutely stunning Bella.” She curtseys and said “Why thank you sir.” I grabbed her hand and we walked out of the apartment. “You wanne walk to Central Park?” “Yes please.” “Luca get us there.” Then Bella and I walked out of the apartment building. When we got out, she turned around on the sidewalk, “I’ve missed this.” “Not long now Bella and you can go outside whenever you want and to think all you see then is trees and grass.” “I can’t wait Massimo.” My heart was melting seeing her so happy.
