I almost choked on the pizza when Massimo said his mother and father wants to meet me. I knew he liked me but to meet his parents so soon sounds serious. It makes me believe he really is into me and see something between us, I don't know why I'm doubting him.
But what is the saying; In for a penny in for a pound.
“I can’t meet them looking like this Massimo, makeup will cover most of the bruises but not the swelling.” I told him
“I told them you were attacked Bella; they were very shocked but are prepared. You can’t be cooped up in the apartment forever. We need to get you out of the house and into the sun.”
“I must say getting out of the house sounds like a very good idea Massimo”
“Then I have a suggestion for you, tomorrow we go out to brunch with my parents. Then I have my meeting and afterword’s we can go to my house in the Hamptons for a nice sunny weekend away from the city. What do you think?”
I carefully threw my arms around him and kissed him on the lips, he forced my mouth open and took over the kiss devouring my mouth. I love it when Massimo kiss me, he always make my knees weak and panty wet. “That would be awesome, thank you Massimo. Just what the doctor ordered."
We ate our pizza and talked about walking along the beach, lying next to the pool, getting some massages, going for ice-cream and just relaxing.
It sounded heavenly.
Curiosity got the better of me and I asked him
“How many houses do you have, if I may ask?"
“Off course Bella I have a few, but I’ll take you to all of them.” I switched the topic because travelling with Massimo sound too good to be true, could this be my life? Do I want it to be my life?
“Are you ready for Friday’s meeting?”
“As ready as I’ll ever be, hopefully everyone shows up and play ball as the Americans say.”
“What will you do if they don’t?”
“Don’t worry about it Bella, I’ll sort everything out I promise”
“Now what do you want to do the rest of the day?”
“I’m tired again, what about binge watching a series?”
“I’m not really a TV type of guy Bella, I’ll sit with you and work if that’s okay with you?”
“Off course Massimo, thank you for sitting with me I really appreciate it."
We went to the lounge were I made myself comfortable against Massimo and started to channel hop, I found some reality show and started watching it mindlessly.
I drifted of and was woke by Massimo calling my name. “Bella, Bella wake up it’s only a dream, Wake up Bella, I’m here.

I was working on documents and researched for Friday’s meeting when Bella started to scream in her sleep. “No, please stop, no.” I tried to wake her but she just kept on saying “No please stop”
I was struggling with myself do I or don’t I tell her about Jean-Pierre. If it will stop her nightmares, I think it’s a good idea, but what if she sees me as the monster I am and run away from me. I think I have fallen in love with her. I won't be able to bear it if she runs from me.
I tried again “Bella wake up, please Bella wake up." Bella woke with tears in her blue eyes.
“Oooo Bella, it’s okay it was only a dream. Your safe now he won’t ever hurt you again.
“How can you be so sure Massimo?” she sobbed
“I’m more than sure Bella, I promise.”
“But how, I can’t stay lock up in your apartment for the rest of my live and although you said Marco will always be with me, he can’t literally always be with me.” She sobbed again.
It’s very clear she’s not going to leave this alone and it will haunt her forever if I don’t tell her what happenend.
I took her hands in mine,
“Bella please don’t freak out and please promise me you won’t think less of me for what I’m going to tell you.”
“I promise Massimo, I’m not as fragile as I look. I don’t even know why I’m getting these nightmares. It happened it’s done there’s nothing I can do about it. And nothing you can say can make me think less of you. You’ve taken me in, you do everything in your power to make me feel care for and safe.”
“Don’t be so sure about me not saying something you won’t like Bella, I’m not a good person. I’ll take what I want and I’ll destroy anything that comes in my way and I will kill anyone that hurts the people I care for and love."
“Just tell me Massimo” she insisted
“The business I had to sort out this morning was that piece of shit that attacked you. His name is Jean-Pierre, my men where looking for him since we found you Monday morning and last night they found him.”
“So, you where looking for him before I gave my statement to the police, before the police even came to me?"
“Yes, Bella I’m not going to trust the police with getting the guy. I sort out my own business.”
"But how did you find him Massimo? If I couldn"t give you information because I was unconscious?"
"I found you Bella and I got my tech guys searching the area for camera's and we used that to find him."
“What happened Massimo? Did he tell you why he did it?” she asked afraid
“Let’s just say he was a sick bastard Bella and he will never ever hurt you or anyone again. I made a promise to you that I will make sure you are safe and I keep my promises Bella”
“What do you mean Massimo?”
“He’s dead Bella.”
