Chapter 22
Rachel
I woke at 7am, feeling the best I’ve felt in days. I was nervous for meeting his parents but I was also excited to go away for a weekend.
I lied in bed thinking about last night and how selfless Massimo was, giving me pleasure without even trying to take pleasure from me, that was a first for me and I must say I’m loving it. I turned around and looked at Massimo still sleeping, what a gorgues, sexy, generous man.
“You like what you see Bella?” he asked with his eyes still clothes. “Yes, a lot” I answered him. He opened his eyes and gave me a panty melting kiss. “Mmmm I like that much better” I told him. “You ready for today, Bella?” “For meeting your parents? Yes, I’m nervous but still excited but I’m more excited for going away the weekend. Getting away from the city and spending a weekend at the beach sounds like heaven to me. Not to mention the alone time with you.”
“Bella where not going to be totally alone my men will still be with us.” “I understand Massimo but we will still be away from the city and I think that’s what I really need.” “I’m glad Bella. Now let’s get ready I told my parents we’re coming earlier. I need to get ready for the meeting with the other Mafia families this afternoon.”
We got up and went to the bathroom where we each went to separate basins to brush our teeth it felt so domesticated so normal. I was staring at myself in the mirror smiling. “What your smiling about Bella?” “I just feel-good today Massimo and it feels so natural standing next to you brushing my teeth as if I belong here.”
“You do Bella, you belong with me right here.” He came over to me and hugged me and I hugged him right back, this feels like home, I thought. We got in the shower and washed each other with no sexual intentions just washing each other both of us in our own heads.
We got out and got dressed Massimo in one of his Armani suits and me in a jean and flowy top and some sneakers. “You look beautiful Bella” “Not nearly as hot and sophisticated as you Massimo”
“I must dress the part Bella today is going to be a hell of a meeting and I need to look like the Head of all the families if I want them to listen to me. Today is going to make or break me.” “You sound a bit nervous Massimo.” “Not nervous Bella just ready, ready for everyone to see the power I have and to know that no one will be spared if they cross me and that every family should draw a line in the sand with the Rici family. But enough of that. Let’s go meet the parents.”
We drove to the restaurant with Luca and Marco in front, Luca driving and in the SUV behind us was Enzo and Davide. Massimo holding my hand the whole time, “Don’t be nervous Bella they going to love you.” “Thank you, Massimo,” We stopped at the restaurant and Marco opened my door. Massimo came over to me and took my hand I was shivering. “You cold Bella?” “No Massimo just nervous.” He just smiled at me.
Massimo
I opened the restaurant door for Bella, my mom and dad were standing at the door waiting for us. “Mom, Dad this is Rachel, Rachel this is my mom Rossa and my father Salvador” “Nice to meet you” Bella said “Ciao Bella” my mom and dad said. “Come come lets go sit down” my mom said taking Rachels hand and taking us to a table. “We made some Frittata and some Italian baked eggs & sausage and off course cappuccino and espresso for my Massimo” my mom told us. “Thank you” Rachel said “Thank you mamma, pappa” We all sat and started to eat “It’s delicious Mrs Marchetti” Rachel said “Please child call me Rossa” “Thank you Rossa” "How are you feeling after your ordeal Rachel?" my mom asked Bella. "Massimo is looking after me so I have no complaints, thank you Rossa."
We talked about where Rachel come from, Rachel talked about South Africa, Cape Town especially and all the wine farms and delicious wines she tasted there. My parents told her about all the wine farms in Italy and then my mom talked about all the other places in Italy. Before we knew it, it was already 11am and I needed to get Rachel back to the apartment and then I needed to get to the club for the meeting. We thanked my mom and dad and my mom told Rachel she is always welcome and didn't need to bring me with if she just want to get out of the house. Bella thank her and we were on our way.
When we got back in the car I spoke to Bella, “See it wasn’t that bad and I could see they really like you.” “You sure about that” she asked “I’m more than sure Bella, my mom even invited you without me." "That was very nice of her." Bella said.
When we got closer to the apartment, I told Bella to go in with Marco and that she should pack a bag for the weekend and when I get back, we will leave. She asked me if she could pack for me, I told her I have extra cloths at the house in the Hamptons so she didn’t need to pack for me. When we stopped in front of the apartment building Marco got out and I leaned closer to Bella and gave her a kiss and a hug. “I’ll see you later Bella, thank you for coming with me and meeting my parents.” “Thank you for taking me Massimo I really enjoyed it. Good luck for your meeting, see you later.”
I watched as Marco walked behind her into the building and when we saw them getting into the elevator, Luca pulled back into the traffic and we were on our way to the club. “You ready boss?” Luca asked. “I’m ready Luca, are you guys all ready and in place?” “Everyone is in place boss and all the warehouses has extra security and ready for anything.”
“Let’s get this over with” I told Luca
