I was just about to walk down the stairs when I heard Francesca was opening the door for someone, when I got down stairs it wasn’t just someone it was 4 police men. I knew one of them the most senior of them. Officer Peet. “Good day officers, what can I do for you?” I asked them politely. “There was a shooting yesterday afternoon in the main street, we are here to find out what happened?” one of them said “And why are you coming to me?” “Because your name was mentioned by the coffee shop owner as well as a Damon and other men. We went to the hospital but the men discharged themselves. We need to speak to everyone.” “Officers we are in quite a hurry, can’t this wait until tomorrow?” “Are you going back to New York?” “Yes” “Then no Mr Marchetti it can’t wait, if everyone that was there could come to the lounge we could get your statements and you all can be on your way. We also heard there was a women who had a gun and shot at a car. If you could get her as well.” Damon and Dani walked down the stairs and walked straight to the officer that just spoke to me. “I’m Damon and this is Dani.” Did you shoot at a car Miss?” The officer asked. “Yes, do I need an attorney?” Dani asked them her lawyer instincts coming through. “No miss we just needed to ask you a few question.” “Fine asked” Dani said. “Obvious question will be why did you shoot at the car?” I chipped in. “We don’t want to discuss that.” “Sorry Mr Marchetti you really don’t have a chose. If you don’t want to co-operate we’ll take you down to the station and hold you for obstruction of justice.” “Fine, my wife was kidnapped and Dani shot at the car aiming for the tyre. See no one got hurt. Can we go know?” “Why didn’t you tell us immediately your wife was kidnapped?” “Because I’ll handle it.” “It doesn’t work like that Mr Marchetti” the officer said again. I stepped forward to grab him when Officer Peet walked infront of me, to stop me. “Can we all just calm down. Officer I’m sure we have enough information.” “But sergeant we don’t have near enough information.” “Why was there three ambulances? Why did the men discharged themselves? Damon interrupted. “Easy questions officer, three of our men where drugged and the ambulances came to fetch them for medical attention.” “According to records there was 4 men.” “I think you mistake officer, there was 3 ambulances and 3 men.” “But” “Officer they answered your questions. Mr Marchetti if you and the rest of the men can send us a detailed statement of what happened when you get back to the city we will appreciate it.” Officer Peet said. The other officer wanted to argue but it was clear Peet was the most senior person. “Fine” was all the officer said before he put his note book back in his pocket. Then they all left. “Everyone ready? We’ll meet at my club tonight at 11 pm. It would be much easier to go in at night and the authorities won’t be called.” All the men left except for Luca and Marco. Damon and Dani also left. I hoped Damon will leave a man with Dani tonight, the Ricci’s is becoming u predictable. I went to Francesca “Thank you for everything Francesca you made the wedding very special. If I could ask you to pack everything up for us in the room. I’ll send Aldo to come and fetch it once we have Rachel.” “I’ll do that Mr Marchetti and please get our Rachel back.” “I will Francesca I will.” I walked to Luca and Marco they both still looked u der the weather because of that drug that was injected in them. “Luca you want me to drive?” I asked him “No boss I’m more than capable.” “Okay Luca.” We got in the SUV and the sun was already high in the sky. Probable afternoon already. I lost e erything when they took Rachel, but I’ll get her back and I’ll make that mother fuckers pay for taking her. I have a few hours to compose myself and e ready for tonight. My Bella needs me on my A game not what I am at the moment.

Anton walked into the room, even though the room stank I could still smell him. Alcohol, sweat and cigarettes he was vulgar to say the least. I didn’t say a word I just watch him walking up and down the room. I was hoping he’ll forget about me if I stay quiet. The guard at the door called him and he walked to him I was sighing out of relieve but then he walked back into the room turning to the guard “You don’t enter this room no matter what you hear, do you understand me?” The guard just looked at him “Answer me” “Yes sir” “You know what bitch Ricci doesn’t know you’re married but I do, you almost gave yourself away when you spoke to him earlier.” “Yes and? What’s the issue with me being married?” I asked him but was terrified for what will happen to me in this filthy room. “If Ricci knows it he will kill you because he thinks at this stage you just another girlfriend but if he knows you’re the wife. That changes the game totally.” “How?” “Killing you immediately will be very satisfying for Ricci, because he took Massimo’s wife from him, that would make Massimo loose his shit.
