The next morning, we got up early, it was our appointment with Dr Coolen today. I couldn’t wait to see the twins again and today we are getting a 3D scan. I was so excited. With everything that went on we couldn’t get to the doctor for the 3D scan until know. I know you can get a 3D scan between 24 and 32 weeks but here we are me being already 34 weeks pregnant. Time was flying and I didn’t mind a bit. I couldn’t even do my own shoe laces anymore it was time for the twins to be here already. Massimo was just as excited as I was, he was smiling the whole morning or was he smiling because of last night. When we got in the SUV’s I asked him “Why you smiling like that?” “Like what?” He asked me “Like the cat who got cream.” “I’m just happy that’s all, no fighting and we are going to see the twins. It so exciting.” “It is I can’t wait either.” We got to the Doctors rooms and she was waiting for us in the reception area as always. “Mr. Marchetti, Rachel how are you feeling.” “Excited doctor.” “I can only imagine. Let’s go through and check your blood pressure before we do the scan.” We walked to the examining room where the nurse took my blood pressure which was normal thank God and my glucose was also good. Then it was time for the ultrasound. The doctor put that cold gel on my belly and started with her magic wand, Massimo was holding my hand in a death grip. Like he was going into labor or something. I patted his hand with my other hand then he relaxed a bit. The doctor pushed the wound onto my stomach and there on the screen is our twins, Mia Rose Marchetti and our son who doesn’t have a name yet. “Oh wow” Massimo and I said at the same time. “Meet your twins Rachel, Mr. Marchetti.” “Oh, wow look at their noses.” I said with tears running down my face. Massimo took out his handkerchief and gave it to me. I wiped my tears. “Sorry for the tears.” “That’s a normal reaction Rachel don’t worry about it.” “They just so beautiful.” “I think she looks like you Bella.” Massimo said pointing at one of them. “And our son looks like me.” He said with a proudness to his voice. “I’m going to print them for you. Everything looks normal nothing to worry about.” “That’s good to know.” Massimo said. The doctor wiped my belly and gave us the print outs. Massimo was such a proud dad the sonar pics went straight into his suit jacket. “Know we need to make appointments for every week from now on there is only 4 weeks left and how the babies are situated I won’t be surprised if you go into labor earlier.” “Are your serious doc?” Massimo asked. “Yes Mr. Marchetti I am. So which days would suit you guys to come in, every Tuesday good for you?” “Yes, that is perfect for us.” Massimo and I said together. We both walked hand in hand out of the doctor’s room when we got out Massimo couldn’t contain himself, he picked me up and twirled with me round and round. “Our babies are almost here Bella.” “Yes, they are that’s why I’m so stressed about the helicopter.” “No need to be Bella I’ll get the pilot on stand by and he can stay with us from next week already.” “Let’s make it 2 weeks before the birth Massimo.”

I couldn’t believe the twins is almost here. Very soon I’ll be able to hold them in my arms. I just couldn’t wait. I was so excited I even wanted to go shopping for them. “Bella, should we try the shopping trip again I have nothing on the rest of the day.” “You think we will be able to get them some cloths?” “Yes, I promise.” “But we not going back to the shop of yesterday.” “Off course we are going back, there was so many nice things and she’s a sales lady if she wants to make money, she needs to be able to forget about yesterday and let us get on with our business.” “Fine Massimo.” “Sound a bit more excited.” “I am I promise.” Luca droved us to the baby clothing store but not before Massimo showed him and Marco the sonar grams from the twins. His going to be such a good father. A bit on the stalker side but a good father non the less. We got the store and Massimo just took everything he could everything that was cute and in pink and blue. “You need to look at the size Massimo.” “Fine I’ll get them the same things in different sizes.” “And what of these many outfits where you thinking of putting on the day they are born.” He walked over to the prettiest pink baby grow with all the safari animals and next to it was exactly the same but in blue. “This is what we bringing them back home in. To fit with the room. But dressing him on there Birth day that needs to be personnel so we going to take a pink baby grow and put Mia Rose on hers and as soon as I have our son’s name and we agree we will put his names on a blue baby grow. I saw they offer the service right here.” That made me cry. “Oh no Bella why are you crying and again in this store?” “That is just the sweetest thing Massimo, I couldn’t believe you just said all that.” “I could be a very sweet guy. Just don’t let my men know that.” We both laughed. We paid for everything and Massimo gave her the instructions for Mia’s baby grow she also suggested we take a cute beanie and put their initials on it. That made me cry all over again. “I’m sorry” I told the sales lady. “Don’t worry mam every mother cry that comes in here that is very normal.” “Thank you for not making me feel like a total wreck.” Then Massimo pulled the sonar print out and showed her the twins. I’m sure she got that a lot but she oohed and aahed just like a proper sales lady would. I was glad we came back now I will have the courage to come here anytime and they did have a lot of nice clothing.
