“Where did you get your information Damon?” “I got my sources Marchetti and I believe them.” Everyone around the table started to talk about how none of us are into human trafficking and that was the deal that we made years ago to each other everything is a go except human trafficking we actually help to take down the people who is involved in human trafficking, I had a contact at the FBI and I feed them information regarding human trafficking and he informs me if any of the families did something to put them on the FBI's radar.
“Okay gentleman let’s get a way to address this issue as well, in my opinion if we sort out the theft from all of us that can be address as well.”
“What is your plan for them Marchetti” Ramano asked “I want to get rid of all the Ricci’s”
“What do you mean, get rid of them?” Matteo asked
“Easy I want to kill them all, it will stop them from stealing from us and it will stop their business into human trafficking, it’s a win win for us all.” I said very calmly. Bernardi immediately agreed with me. “That’s exactly what I would have done.” “Bernardi you’re in Sicily you not going to feel the pressure as we will that stays in New York” Matteo said. “Matteo it seem that you are against getting rid of them, is there a reason? Because all you have done today is question everything” I asked him
“No but there must be another option” he said. “I must say I don’t see any other options. We go in take back what is ours and then they come back to steal from us again and then there will be heat on us from the police and FBI.” I told them.
“If we take them all out it can look like an accident, a gas leak at their home. That’s much easier to explain to anyone.” I told them.
Costa asked “What’s going to happen to their territory if we take them out.” “Costa we will have to talk about that when it’s all done, we can’t make plans for that yet.” “I’m still not sure about this plan Marchetti.” Matteo said. “Let’s put it to a vote” Damon said. “I think that will be the best. When I call your name yes or no.”

“Sorry Matteo but it will be done” When? everyone asked
“When I’m ready, there is a lot of heat at the moment and they are waiting for us to retaliate. Let’s give them change to think they are in the clear and we’re not going to do anything. I want the element of surprise. Anything else you want to talk about?” Everybody shook their heads. “Good, I’ll keep you all updated on when I’m planning to go after the Ricci’s and if I need more men, I expect you will give me more.” Everybody said yes and stood up, I shook everyone’s hands and Enzo escorted everyone out, except for Damon.
“Why aren’t you leaving Damon it’s late I have plans.” “We need to talk some more”
“About?”
“Everything that happened tonight, don’t you think they made you head of the Mafia in New York to easily? I thought there will be more of a struggle for you?”
“Damon as you heard I’ve got more power then them at the moment they can’t fight me.”
“Ooo yes they can Marchetti, don’t be too cocky if they stand together, they can take you out.”
“I know that Damon but they won’t I knew that before I made the suggestion to challenge them to being head. Their a couple of old men who have a few kids who doesn’t have the balls to do anything, except maybe the young Matteo he was getting a bit ballsy but the biggest problem in this city and the only people who will stand in my way will be the Ricci’s and I’ll get rid of them very soon.”
“That’s the other thing I want to talk about, my guys won’t hang back and wait for you to take them out. They want their revenge and they are going to take it.”
” I’m not standing in your way Damon or your guy’s way they can take their revenge I was counting on that but we, meaning the Mafia families, won’t do something until I feel it’s the right time. If the Rici’s concentrate on you guys that’s good for us, so go for it just don’t kill the family. Their men are fair game, but I want them to know who was the cause of their downfall I want them to look at me when I put them in the ground.”
“It sounds personnel Marchetti, personnel aren’t always a good thing in our line of business”
“With the Rici’s it’s always personnel. Can I count on you and your men when the time comes Damon?”
“Absufuckinlutly we will be there”
“Thank you for coming Damon and bringing us the extra information I didn’t knew I needed you today.”
“What are friends for.” We shook hands and Damon left.
I was standing in the conference room with a huge smile on my face I managed to become the first Mafia boss in the city from a none Mafia family, I achieved one of the goals I’ve been working years for and it felt awesome. At the back of my mind I was thinking I'm achieving all these goals, I need someone to leave it to, I need children. Maybe a wife first but defnitily children and lots of them.
Now I need to get home to my Bella to celebrate and have a great weekend away from the city. Somewhere over the weekend I would have to address her feelings around having children and how many and if she's ready for that.
