The next morning Bella and I slept in again, it was so nice to sleep until you wake up and not being hooked on time and a schedule. We should properly enjoy it while we can when the babies come, I’m sure we will have to have a routine. Bella helped me dressed and she made sure to wear very comfortable shoes I told her we have 2 more days in Venice and I want to show her as much as possible. Our first stop today was St. Mark’s Square it was a gathering place dating back to the 12th century and was dominated by St. Mark’s Basilica. When we got outside, I told Bella where we will be going and that we will need to use a boat to get there. When we arrived at St Mark’s square Bella was stunned at the big open space. “This is the largest open space in Venice Bella.” “This is absolutely beautiful.” “You want to go and have a coffee and people watch Bella?” “That sounds like a great idea.” We found a nice coffee shop. I ordered my normal espresso and Bella her normal a decaf hazelnut ice latte. We sat back and enjoyed our coffee and just watch the people walking by and the birds flying around the square. “You up for some shopping Bella?” “I can shop.” She laughed at me “I have an I love Milan baby grow for the twins but I don’t have anything from Venice yet.” “I was rather thinking of shopping for you Bella some maternity clothes.” “We’ll see.” We walked in the directions of the stores. We walked into Marni Venezia, Bella immediately saw a dress that she liked I must say this doesn’t happen often that she walks into a place and immediately see something she likes. It was a Blue Cotton A-Line dress with a collage print. Yes, I know my fashion. “Maybe I can take this in a size bigger and used this as one of my maternity dresses it’s absolutely beautiful.” “Then we’ll take it, I saw the bag that goes with it we’ll take that as well.” “Massimo that’s why I can’t shop with you, if you find shoes that will fit with the dress, you’ll probably take those to?” “Off course I will, you need the whole outfit not just the dress.” The sales lady approached us and I told her I want shoes and the bag that goes with the dress. She was smiling from ear to ear. Bella saw another dress; it was black and white cady balloon dress with natural print. “Can I fit this one as well.” “Off course I’ll get you the shoes and bag that goes with that two Signora.” Bella wanted to argue when I just thank her. Bella went into the changing room and I was so upset that my arm was in a sling I would have given anything to fuck her in that changing room right know. Bella fitted both dresses and there was space for a growing belly. I paid and we were off to the next store. We walked into Leon Doro boutique there where hats, dresses, shirts everything you would expect in a boutique but nothing that caught Bella’s attention. Bella and I walked hand in hand through the narrow cobble stone streets of Venice. I’ve been here so many times but this time it’s special I had someone with me I could share things with. We walked pass a store called Yupi, Belle pulled me back towards the store, we walked in and Bella walked straight to the shoes, “I was looking for a pair of these in New York” she said while picking up the shoe it was a Dr. Martens sabot Jorge Mules it was close in front an open at the back. Bella asked for a black pair and I had to go and asked for a brown pair as well. “Massimo you need to stop doing that I can’t have two or more of the same thing.” “Sweetheart it’s not the same thing one is black and the other brown.” “You know I don’t like giving out your money Massimo.” “Bella we are married it’s our money not my money.” That’s when she for some reason realized I didn’t make her sign a prenup. “Fuck Massimo you didn’t let my sign a prenup.” “Why are you upset about it Bella, if you leave me, you can take everything with you because I won’t have a life left to live.” “Massimo you can’t say that?” “Why not it’s the truth Bella.” She jumped into my one arm in the middle of the store. “I haven’t even realized it Massimo, I should have insisted on it.” “Why? If I want to share everything with you, why should you insist on a prenup?” “I just should have, to protect you.” “Are you planning on leaving me Bella?” “No Massimo!” “Then there is nothing to worry about.” “It still doesn’t mean I’m just going to spend left right and center money.’ “I know Bella.” I paid for the two pair of shoes then we were of Bella was looking for a baby store, she won’t spend more money on herself but she will spend money on the babies. I needed to take a win where I could get one. We found a Baby Boutique and Bella was so happy she bought the twins a few things she was looking for something with the word Venice on but they didn’t stock anything like that. “We’ll probably get something like that at a gift store Bella.” “Oh okay, I really want something with Venice on.” “We’ll find something I promise Bella.” We walked a few more blocks and found a gift store where Bella found something for the twins not what she was looking for but it was something. Then we went searching for a place to have something to drink and eat we were both starving and tired. We found a very nice place on the street serving pizza and wine. At least they had sodas for Bella. We were relaxing and eating our pizza when a guy walked by he looked at me then took a double take and looked at me again. Like he recognized me.
