Massimo woke me up just before 5pm. I could hear there was a commotion in the house. “Time to get up sweetheart.” “What’s going on Massimo?” “Just everyone putting the flowers where it needs to go.” “Did the flowers only arrived now?” “Yes sweetheart, but that’s no problem it’s still early enough and mom and dad will only be here in 2 hrs.” “Thank God I slept or I would have been a nerves wreck.” “No need to be sweetheart. You going to take a shower, before the girls come for your hair and make-up?” “Yes, thank you Massimo.” “Anything I can bring you?” “Just my normal please.” “I’ll be right back.” I got up and went to the bathroom, I couldn’t believe I slept so long, but it was good now I’ll have energy for the whole night. I got in the shower and used my special shower gel we bought in Paris; I wanted to look and smell unbelievable tonight because this will be the last time, I’m getting married. I was standing in the shower thinking about my vows. Massimo and I didn’t talk about writing our own vows, but for some reason I was sure that’s something he would do. He knocked on the door just to let me know he was indeed in the bathroom. “Bella your coffee is in the bedroom.” “Thank you, Massimo.” I got out of the shower and walked to him with a towel around me. “You know what Massimo?” “No Bella what?” “I love you” “I love you to Bella.”

It was so nice hearing Dani interact with other people. When I walked in, they all screamed “Here’s the bride to be.” I gave them a small bow. “Thank you, thank you.” “Come sit here Rachel, I’ll do your hair first then, Dani could sit for her make-up.” I sat on the chair and they brought me a glass of champagne. “Oh no thank you, I’m pregnant.” “Your husband send 2 bottles up one especially for you non-alcoholic sparkling wine.” “That was nice of him, then thank you very much.” The hairdresser asked me how I wanted my hair and I explained I wanted long loose curls with the clip in my hair I bought. Everyone was in good spirits even Dani was joking and being young and carefree. It was very good to see. “Dani, could I ask you a favour?” “Off course Rachel.” “When it’s time will you help me get into my dress, I think I’ll need help.” “It will be my honour Rachel.” “Thank You Dani.” When the hairdresser was done with my hair and I took a look at it I was so impress I almost didn’t recognise myself. “Beautiful, thank you very much.” “I’m happy you like it.” “I love it” I went to the make up girl, I felt guilty for not asking their names, but I’m not going to see them again. “Any preference?” she asked. “A natural look please.” And that was exactly what she gave me. I felt so beautiful when they were done. “Thank you ladies.” Dani walked them downstairs, then she came back to me. “Rachel, you look absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to see you in your dress.” “Thank you, Dani, you also look stunning.” “Thank you, Rachel, I must say I feel pretty and my dress will fit perfectly with the smoky eyes. You need help with your pre-wedding dress?” “No thank you Rachel I’ll manage.” “See you down stairs.” I walked to our room finding Massimo putting on his tuxedo. “Oh my God Massimo, you look hotter than normal.” “Thank you Miss soon to be Mrs Marchetti.” He gave me a cute curtsy. I burst out laughing, then I felt it again. I walked over to Massimo. I put his hand on my belly “Feel Massimo the little munchkins are moving.” “Munchkins?” “The babies, that’s what I’m calling them.” “I don’t feel anything Bella.” “They stopped.” “I can’t believe you are feeling them already.” “I couldn’t believe it either so I googled and it is possible.” “Wow Bella, when can we find out if they are boys or girls?” “We have an appointment the second week in January.” “I can’t wait.” “Me neither.” “Should I wait for you or go down stairs so long Mom and Dad will be here in 30 minutes.” “You could go down so long love I’ll get you downstairs.” He gave me a quick kiss on the lips then walked out the room. One of the dresses I bought in Paris was a Dolce & Gabbana Kim ruched off-shoulder tulle midi dress. If I really wanted to, I could have gotten married in this dress as our first ceremony, but I wanted our first to be special. I put the dress on and the shoes I bought with it Taormina-lave crystal-embellished pumps same shoes I’ll be wearing with my dress. When I went to my jewellery box to find jewellery to put on I saw a box with a letter. I open the letter:

I wipe a tear from my eye, careful not to smutch my make-up and opened the box, inside was teardrop diamond earrings, the most beautiful earrings I’ve ever seen. I immediately put them on. It looked beautiful with my dress and hair.
When I walked down the stairs everyone stopped and looked at me, I felt like a princess.
