Luca was driving very fast and trying to get into traffic to get away from the south side and out of the line of fire. “Luca if someone is following us, we need to lead them to the club.” “Okay boss I just need to get away from the shooting then I’ll look for a tail.” As soon as we where out of the line of fire I got up reached for my phone I saw it was Damon, I called him back “Massimo fuck I thought something happened to you.” He answered. “Almost Damon I was with my big dealer, Alfonso when they came for us but we got away, we hoping someone is tailing us to the club.” “We have someone on our tail, see you at the club.” I called Davide and Dante to get to the club as soon as possible I knew they where behind us but Luca can drive slower now and hopefully someone is following us. I also send the new men there from my club we need all the firepower we can get. A few kilometers before the club Luca said “Boss we have one on our tail it looks like 4 men.” “Good we will get rid of the mother fuckers.” “Boss just stay low.” Enzo said. “They are brave enough to take a shot at you in front of all these people.” “They are fucking stupid and making issues for us all with the shit they are doing on the streets.” “I know boss.” That remined me I needed to call Romana and Edcardo and warn them. I first phoned Edcardo “Massimo what the fuck is going on?” “They hitting our drug dealers to get to the head of the snake.” “Fuck” “Just warn your people Edcardo, I don’t know if they will come for you but they came for Damon’s men and mine.” “Thank you Massimo I’ll let my men know. Do you need men?” “No so far we good.” Then I disconnected the call and phoned Romana I got the same reaction from him Edcardo “Massimo what the fuck is going on?” “They hitting our drug dealers to get to the head of the snake.” “That mother fuckers.” “Warn your men Romana.” “Will do.” Just as I disconnected Luca stopped at the back of Damon’s club. Enzo and Luca covered me while I ran into the building. Damon and his men were already back. “What’s going on Damon?” “I have to clue we got here all the men is where they suppose to be but the fuckers that followed us hasn’t made a move yet.” “Why the fuck not?” We where all sitting in the club waiting for them to make there move, we had snippers on the roof of the club but there is no movement according to them. Then I remembered all the money in the SUV. “Damon, I have millions in my SUV.” “Get the money, Ricci had a nice hiding place for it.” I told Luca to go and get the money. As Luca was coming back into the club we heard the shot. They were trying to shoot Luca. Fuck Enzo and I ran toward Luca but luckily, he was shot in the bullet proof. “They are waiting us out Damon. They want us to go outside.” “But why doesn’t the snippers see them?” “Fuck let’s go find out.” Damon and I got to the roof and crawled to where the snippers were. “What’s going on her? They just took a shot at Luca and got him in the vest.” I said a bit irritated.” “We don’t see them boss.” Dante said. “Well, the fuckers are out there. “They are waiting for us to go out that is clear.” “Why don’t we see them?” Brad said. “Let me show you they are out there.” I got up and not even a minute later I heard the gunshot but luckily for me it was definitely not a snipper because he missed. Damon grabbed me to lie down “Are you fucking crazy Massimo you have Rachel and the babies to think about.” “We needed Dante and Brad to see from which direction the shot came.” “There are better ways to have done that Massimo. Fuck.” Damon went on. “Okay I’m fine they missed.” “You fucken lucky that’s all.”
Rachel
When Massimo and Damon were gone Danielle and I sat in the living room in our own heads. “Danielle, I haven’t slept much you wane go to bed?” “I could sleep, I’m still tired.” “Will you be able to get up the stairs?” “If you help me, yes.” I took Danielle’s hand and we walked to the stairs where Liam got us and took Danielle’s other arm. “Thank you, Liam.” I spoke. “You wane stay with me in my room?” I asked Danielle “You wouldn’t mind? I really don’t want to be alone now.” “I won’t mind at all and to tell you the truth I don’t want to be alone either.” We got to the mint room and both of us just got in bed with what we got on. “Rachel what if something happens to them?” Danielle asked me. “Nothing is going to happen Danielle we need to be positive they are big men with bigger men fighting with them nothing is going to happen to them.” “You really believe that Rachel?” “I have to Danielle or else I will fall apart.” “I understand completely.” We both got comfortable and fell asleep.
When we woke up a couple of hours later, I could hear movement in the house and the sun was shinning outside. Danielle was also awake. “Hi Danielle you feeling better after that nap?” “I do but know I’m hungry.” I laughed at her, that felt good. “Me to Danielle me to.” I helped Danielle to go to the bathroom and both of us brushed our teeth then we went to look for something to eat. When we got to the kitchen Francesca was already busy packing away all the groceries she bought. “Francesca you here!” I almost screamed. “Yes, Rachel I’m here and I started with breakfast for the two of you.” I went and gave her a hug. “I’m so glad you are here and you accepted our offer to come and work here.” “I’m more than happy to come and work for you here Rachel and then I can see the babies grow up.” “Yes indeed. Francesca, you remember Danielle?” “Yes, off course. Hi Danielle.” “Hi Francesca.” “You girls want some coffee?” “God yes.” Danielle said. “Yes, please Francesca.”
That’s when my phoned rang the caller ID said Massimo, I got the shivers all over my body.
