Karen and I have problems and we are trying to work it out but I’m not so sure if it will be possible. Can we first talk about your kidnapping?” “If you promise to be calm while we do it.” “I’ll try.” Massimo and Herman were just listening to these 2 crazy siblings arguing and then getting soft. I don’t think Massimo understood it as he has no siblings, but if I’m correct Herman does so this encounter didn’t faze him at all. Massimo got up, “Well for this story I need to get you guys something to drink and Bella should I get you some water?” “Yes please?” Massimo went to the kitchen got me some water and came back with 3 glasses of whiskey. He must have seen that’s what I poured them earlier.
“I’m going to give you the short story.” “Fine just tell me.” Massimo came and sat next to me holding my leg. “There were issues with a rival Mafia family, Massimo and his friend warned me to not leave the house but I had a bee in the bonnet and didn’t want to listen, so I went out. Massimo send 4 guys with us, but unfortunately the bad guys drugged them and captured me.” “Oh my God Rachel.” “I was 3 days with them until Massimo and a lot of other people came to rescue me. They roughed me up a bit, but I can assure you they are much worse of at this stage.” “Will they come back for you?” “No” Massimo said. Both Herman and Adri looked at Massimo. They are in a very different world now. “Well, I’m happy you are safe now, and I’m sorry for being such in ass earlier. Congratulations on the babies and the wedding.” “Thank you” both Massimo and I said. “Now what are you going to tell your parents?” Massimo asked.

The air was cleared between me and Rachel’s brother and I think he understands more what my world is about. I didn’t have to speak the words for him to understand the people who hurt Bella was gone forever. Now we just have one thing to sort out, Adri need to convince their parents Henry is well and Rachel is married to me and we are expecting our own babies. “Now what are you going to tell your parents?” “Well, it should be believable and I need to break the news to them about you two and the babies. So, if any of you have an idea, don’t feel shy to speak up.” “You could tell mom and dad you found Henry and he found a new love, she’s very rich and she’s taking him on a tour of America and he doesn’t know when and if he’s coming back.” “Isn’t that too farfetched?” “Not really look at me and your sister. I won’t say it’s too farfetched.” “Yes, but he was adamant he will bring Rachel back with her baby.” “Tell your parents Rachel fell in love with someone else and she wasn’t expecting a baby but is now.” “I don’t think they’ll believe me” Adri said “Well then it’s probable time I put my big girl panties on and call them and tell them why I ran away and that I haven’t seen him since he asked me to come back to him and I said no. I’m just leaving the part out that I know where he is now.” “You don’t really know Bella.” “I know Massimo but I do know his dead.” “That is true.” “Okay so we are agreeing you telling mom what happened and why you left and why you are here. I’ll tell them I found him and he met someone else and he doesn’t know if he will come back.” “I think so” Rachel said. “Well, no time like the present to get this over with. I’ll phone them speak to them then you can speak to them.” Adri and Rachel decided. I agreed with Bella the sooner we get this over with the sooner we can all move on with our lives. “Massimo will you and Herman excused us, we’ll go to my office and get this over with.” “No problem, Bella, Herman and I will go and get some food, what do you think Herman?” “Sounds like a plan” Herman said I walked over to Bella and gave her a kiss. “You sure you want to do this alone?” “I’m not alone Adri will be there.” “You know what I mean Bella.” “I’m good Massimo, I knew this day had to come sooner or later.” “Okay we’ll see you later.” I gave her another kiss then walked out. When we approach the front door Marco was still standing there. “Marco everything is sorted out, they going to phone their parents. Herman and I are going to Mamma Rossa to get some food, can you call Luca please.” “You sure boss?” “I’m sure Marco.” Herman looked at Marco “Marco if I could be so blunt, they fight like cats and dogs but he will never hurt her, I can promise you that.” “Thank you, Herman.” Marco said. “But if it’s all the same to you boss I’ll just stay near Bella.” “Whatever makes you feel better Marco.” Luca came out and Herman and I where off to get some food. I hope I did the right thing in leaving her alone with her brother to sort everything out…
