Our first week was over in the Hamptons and no word from Frank I didn’t know if it was a good or bad thing, but I was not going to call him. I’d rather wait for him to get in contact with me. Richardo came through with the stones I wanted so I’ll make that deal when I’m back in the city. I also followed up with the photographer and spa for Monday for our photoshoot. As I looked at my watch, I saw it was past 11 am already and no sign of Bella. I went upstairs to still find her in bed. She was having Braxton-Hicks contractions since early this morning but didn’t wake me nor tell me when I got up. I was a bit irritated by that but also, I felt like a fish out of water. I didn’t know what to do in this situation it was new territory to me. I decided to take her lead and just do everything she asked me of me. I helped her to get in the shower and ready for the day. When she got the huge contraction while she was in the shower, I didn’t think twice I just jumped in and tried to help any way I could. If it was only for her to hold my hand then so be it. I got her dressed and downstairs after a while. Then I went looking for chocolate croissants because that was what she wanted. I frantically went through the cupboards I didn’t even know where I will find it. When Francesca asked “Mr. Marchetti what are you looking for?” “A chocolate croissant, Bella wants a chocolate croissant.” “You won’t find it in the cupboards Sir take her coffee for her and asked Marco to go to the bakery.” “Fine” I took my coffee and Bella’s and walked to the living room. “Here you go Bella.” I said as I gave her her coffee. “I’m going to look for Marco to get you your croissant. Anything else you want?” “Any pastry with custard.” “Okay Bella.” I walked to the men’s house I didn’t even knock I just walked in. “Marco!” I screamed as I walked in Luca and Marco came running out thinking something major was wrong. In my world right at this minute it was something major. “What’s wrong boss?” Luca was the first to asked. “Bella needs a chocolate croissant and there is nothing in the house can you and Marco go to the bakery and get her some please and some pastry with custard in.” “Okay boss.” “And don’t come back if you couldn’t find some.” As I walked out, I knew I was being a bit overdramatic but I was stressing here I didn’t want Bella to go into labor now not now. When I walked back to Bella, I asked her what else I could do for her and she asked me to rub her feet. Fuck I’ll rub her feet the whole day if it was going to make her feel better. So, I sat at the end of the coach and started rubbing her feet. I could see she was enjoying it but I could also see that she had a few contractions while I was doing it. I was so stress but I tried to relax I knew it wouldn’t help if I was stressed out as well. After a while Bella relaxed and I could see her eyes where closing. Just as she was about to fall asleep Marco and Luca walked into the front door. It bit to loudly to my liking but they didn’t know Bella was almost asleep. She sat up straighter “Did you find some Marco?” Bella asked “Yes Rachel we bought 6 of each.” Marco told her. “You guys are the best.” She told them. They gave me the box and as I was about to get up. Marco told me to stay with Rachel they will get the plates. Bella just smiled at me. “You know you’re the best as well, right?” “If you say so it feels like I can’t help you.” “You planted the seed Massimo know I need to get your babies out of me on my own you can hold my hand, rub my feet and back get me food or ice but that’s the most you can do the rest is up to me.” “I’m sorry Bella I don’t like seeing you in so much pain.” “It’s all going to be worth it Massimo don’t stress about it okay, the first time we hold them in our arms it will all be worth it and I’ll tell you if I can’t handle it anymore but even then, I have to push through.” “I know I just need to know how you feel.” “I’ll try and tell you, okay?” “Okay Bella.” Marco came back with 2 plates then I gave a chocolate croissant for Bella. It was still hot. One bite and she was moaning, moaning like when she’s in bed with me. Marco and Luca had left us already when I said “Jeez Bella it sounds like I’m making love to you.” “I’m sorry Massimo but today this croissant is just as good as sex.” “I don’t know if I should feel offended.” “I promise, you don’t have to.” “You just enjoy that croissant.” And she did she even took another one when I looked at her, she said the first one was for Mia the second one is for Alessio.” “Oh, I see you not picking a favorite.” “You can never choose a favorite with your children Massimo.” “I’m only joking Bella.” “You better.” I also took a croissant and ate one. It was delicious and if I knew I would run the next morning I would have also eaten 2 but with everything that was going on I didn’t want to leave the house without Bella. So, I sticked to one. When Bella was done eating her croissant she gave me her plate. “Can you help me to lie flat Massimo and a pillow for between my legs.” “I’ll go and fetch your pregnancy pillow from upstairs Bella.” I quickly ran upstairs and got her pillow. I helped her to get comfortable gave her the remote covered her with a blanket and kissed her on the forehead. “You comfortable Bella?” “Yes, thank you Massimo, I’m going to try and sleep the contraction is a bit less know.” ‘Thank God’ I thought. “Okay I’ll get my laptop and sit here with you while you sleep.” “Nonsense Massimo go to your office it’s not far and if I want something I’ll just scream.” “I don’t want you to scream Bella.” “I’m really okay Massimo you can come and check on me will that make you feel better?” “Okay fine I’ll come and check on you.” I gave her a kiss on the forehead and walked to my office. “Why do I feel so helpless?’
