Rachel
I made myself some toast and another cup of coffee, went to the patio and enjoyed the morning air. I was sitting on the daybed where Massimo found me last night. I’m excited for tonight, going out to a restaurant in New York City but I was also excited and intrigued by what Massimo will tell me. Last night’s research intrigued me but also scared me, that is why I want to talk to Massimo to discuss and understand what he actually wants from me. And what he will do if I can’t give him what he wants. It’s much better to walk into a relationship with your eyes wide open and to know the expectations. If he can’t be with me because of something I can’t give him it will be much easier to go our separate ways now then after I’ve fallen in love with him. In his mind we are apparently already in a relationship. He’s talking about kids for goodness sake.
I decided I need a new dress for tonight, that means I want to go shopping. What do I do now, do I call Massimo or do I only ask Marco that’s the question of the day. I went to the nearest phone and dialled Marco’s number, Marco answered immediately. “What can I do for you Rachel?” “I want to go and buy a dress for tonight but I’m not sure, do I ask you or do I phone Massimo?” “Don’t worry Rachel I’ll phone boss and tell him, when do you want go?” “I just need to shower and get dress, let’s say in an hour?” “I’ll be ready Rachel.” “Thank you Marco.” I put the phone down and walked to the bathroom I didn’t even got to the shower when my phone rang. Caller ID said it was Massimo. “Hi Massimo.” “Hi Bella I hear you want to go shopping, why didn’t you say anything this morning before I left, I would have given you my card?” “Massimo I didn’t know you going to invite me to dinner and I don’t need your money, I can buy my own dress.” “I know you can, but I want to buy you stuff.” “Thank you Massimo I appreciate it but let me buy my own dress for tonight okay?” “Okay Bella this time, please stay with Marco at all times.” “And if I have to fit the dress Massimo?” I asked with a smile “Fuck no, then he stays outside.” I laughed at him “It’s really easy to poke the bear.” “Bella Bella, only I see what is mine.” “I know don’t worry Massimo.” “Enjoy the shopping and only buy something for tonight I’m taking you shopping on Wednesday.” “Okay Bye Massimo.” “Bye Bella enjoy your shopping.”
I showered, did my make up and hair and after an hour I was ready. When I got out of the bedroom I saw Marco waiting for me at the door. “You ready Rachel?” “Ready Marco.” We travelled down to the garage and I got in one of the SUV’s. “Where to Rachel?” “If you can take me to a Banana Republic and an H&M please Marco. I only know where H&M is, I have no idea where Banana Republic is.” “No worries Rachel I got this.” We first went to H&M but nothing caught my eye. I was also quite surprise how Marco blended in I didn’t even notice him. I showed him there was nothing and we went back to the car. We drove awhile to get to the nearest Banana Republic and I really hoped I’ll get something there. We walked into the store and there where multiple dresses screaming buy me buy me. I saw a red dress and immediately new that was the dress I was going to buy. It looked like the dress that Kate Hudson wore in How to loose a guy in 10 days. The only difference was the dress was red, Massimo’s favourite colour, and not yellow like in the movie. I went to fit it and it fitted me perfectly. I decided I needed a new pair of panties and bra as well preferable red. I decided I’m going to spoil myself a bit further and ask Marco to take me to a Victoria Secret store. When we arrived at the Victoria secret store I could see Marco getting a bit uncomfortable. I told him he can wait outside he will be able to see me from there and to my surprise he agreed. I got the tiniest panty I’ve ever seen and a lacy bra. When we got back in the car I was very happy with my purchases of the day. Maybe one more stop. “Marco do you know of a hairdresser that would be able to help me on short notice?” “Rachel you are in luck my sister is a hairdressers I’ll quickly phone her.” He phoned his sister, I didn’t understand a word as they spoke Italian. When he was done he said we can go now. “Awesome thank you so much Marco.” When we got to the hair salon, Marco introduced me to his sister Isabella. “Hello Isabella, I’m Rachel” She took me to the sink and someone washed my hair. “What can I do for you Rachel?” Isabella asked me. “Can you cut a few inches off and curl my hair for tonight please. I have a very important date.” I told her how my dress looks and she new what to do to my hair from the picture I painted for her. When she was done with my hair I felt ready for anything, it’s always been a thing for me, if my hair is done then I feel on top of the world. Marco took me for a latte at Starbucks and a croissant and then we where of to the apartment.
“Thank you so much for your patience today Marco and getting me in to see your sister I really appreciate it.” “My pleasure Rachel.” When we got back in the apartment it was just before 5 pm and I needed to get ready.
I went to full the bath and quickly shaved everywhere just in case. When I got out I did my make up to perfection and started to dress. When I put my lingerie on and then the dress. You could see the bra’s pattern through the dress and you could see the panty. It didn’t look good, my only option is going commando, well then that’s what I’ll do, I'm not going to spoil the dress. I took of my lingerie and put the dress back on, that looked so much better. I slipped on my red strappy heals and stood up. I found my one diamond necklace the only necklace I didn’t sell and put that on. I looked at myself in the mirror and was surprise at what was looking back at me. A relaxed confident woman was staring back at me and I must say I like her. I put some of my Dolce Gabana Light Blue on and I was ready for the night. As I turned around, I saw Massimo standing in the door his eyes full of hunger and something else.
