Chapter 329
Rachel
After our big scare and me being in hospital for one night I took it very easy. I really didn’t want the twins to be born prematurely. I want them safely inside me as long as possible. When I woke up the next morning, I went down stairs and went looking for breakfast. Francesca was in the kitchen still busy making breakfast. “How you feeling today, Rachel?” She asked when she put the food in front of me. “I’m better today. Thank you, Francesca.” “Are you going to go for your walk today?” “Yes, but I’ll take Marco with, I won’t walk alone again not until the twins are born.” “I think that is a very good decision, Rachel.” I ate my breakfast in my little sun nook then I went looking for Marco. I didn’t have to look far for him apparently, he had the same idea as me because I found him outside talking to Anton. When they saw me, both greeted me. “Rachel, I thought I’ll accompany you on your walks until the babies are born.” “I thought the same thing Marco I was on my way to look for you.” “Then I’m glad I’m here.” Marco gave me my space to walk in front and take the lead and walk at my own pace. I notice I couldn’t walk the whole parameter of the estate anymore I got to tired too quickly. Half way through I told Marco “I think we should turn back Marco, I’m getting tired.” “Should I call for the Golf Cart.” “No that’s not necessary Marco let’s see how far I can make it. Exercise is good for me.” “Yes, Rachel I know but we don’t want you to end up in hospital again.” “I’ll take it easy the rest of the day okay. There is a new series on Netflix I want to watch so I’ll be on the couch the rest of the day.” “Okay Rachel.” We took it slower back to the house. I didn’t want the Golf Cart I wanted to be able to do it by myself but I could feel today was the last day I’m taking such long walks. When we got back to the house I went upstairs and took a quick shower. After I got dress, I felt so tired I decided to lay down on the bed just to feel better before I go down. I must have fallen asleep because Francesca came looking for me for lunch. As I walked downstairs, I wondered if this is how the last few weeks is going to be like walk a few kilometers and then sleep for a few hours, eat, rinse and repeat. I couldn’t complain about it I wanted the twins to be growing inside me until my due date and if that meant eating, walking and sleeping then I’ll do it. Francesca made me a nice fresh meat sandwich with cold meat, lettuce, cheese and tomato. She knew I loved it in the afternoon. I took my sandwich and went to the living room and put the new season of Bridgeton on. It was nice to put my feet up eat my sandwich and watch TV and to know it’s okay there was nothing else I needed to do. I didn’t need to clean the house or work or decide what is for dinner Francesca did all that, Massimo was really spoiling me but at this stage in my life I’m not going to complain not for a minute. I watch the first and second episode and I must have fallen asleep yet again because I was woken up by Massimo kissing my forehead.

I was on my way home still thinking about who could be the snitch I’m very confident in my men. They are with me for years why would any of them turn on me that only means the snitch is on Fedorov side. I decided to do the deal on Sunday after lunch with my parents and I will let everyone know when I’m already at the warehouse. When I got home it was already late and I was sure Bella would be sleeping already I found her in the living room in front of the TV sleeping, I looked at her and my whole heart was fulling with love, pride and peace. She and the kids are my home my safe place. I bend down and kissed her on the forehead. “Hi love” she said as she opened her eyes. “Hi Bella” “Damn I fell asleep yet again.” “You could sleep the whole day if you want to Bella. Why stress about it?” “I was watching a series I really was into.” “Well, I’m sure you will find the spot and you can continue.” She patted the seat next to her “Come sit.” When I was seated next to her, she asked me “How was your day?” Okay what do I do know we always said we are not going to lie to each other but if I tell her we were almost arrested she will start to panic and stress and that could lead to getting more cramps etc. etc. so I went with. “Good no problems I just need to go into the office on Sunday after my parents was here. There was one thing I forgot.” “No problem, Massimo and then we are flying to the Hamptons on Monday morning?” “Yes, sweetheart if you still want to go.” “Yes, off course I still want to go, it will be the last time we go the house without the twins.” “I didn’t think about it that way. Fuck it’s scary the next time we go we need to have a cover over the pool I need to get the house baby proof.” “Calm down Massimo it takes a while before they can crawl or walk it’s not necessary to stress about it yet.” “Rather safe than sorry Bella I’ve read horrific stories about children drowning and then their parents were with them. I won’t take those chances.” “Okay Massimo if that will make you feel better than that is what we will do while we are there. Okay?” “Yes, Bella that does make me feel better.” I got up from the coach and gave her my hand come wife let’s go eat.” “You going to sleep in with me when we are in the Hamptons?” “I’ll try.” “Maybe we can try some new positions as well.” “We’ll have to see love.”
