Chapter 180
Rachel
I was hiding in the car on the floor as I heard everyone shooting and shouting at each other. Suddenly everything around me got quiet. I took a change to peek out of the window all I saw was dead bodies around me and then I made the biggest mistake I looked up and I looked right into Anton’s face. He ripped the door open and grabbed me by the hair dragging me out of the SUV. “Leave me alone Anton!” Someone needs to hear me, I screamed louder. “Leave me alone!” but no one came to help me. “I’m going to use you to get out of this shit alive. You and this ledger I have in my pocket.” I tried to get on my feet and walk but it didn’t work he just kept on dragging me. Then I started to hear voices and one of the voices was Massimo’s. Thank God. I heard Ghost saying “Where’s the ledger Ricci?” “I’ll never tell you.” Ricci screamed then Ghost shot him in the arm, “Think about it again, old man. Where is the ledger?” Ghost screamed at him at this stage nobody has notice us yet. I wanted to scream at them I'm here but I didn't take rhe change. “Not telling you.” Ghost shot him in the other arm, that’s when Anton said “I’ll tell you if you let me go!” Massimo’s eyes caught mine then he took intake of me, looking me from head to toe. I saw something snap in Massimo then he turns around and put a bullet in Ricci Snr “Where is it, Anton.” Massimo asked him. I could feel him loosening his grip to pat his back pocket. “I’ve got it.” “What do you want?” Massimo said “Let me go and I’ll give you the ledger and this slut.” I could see it took everything out of Massimo not to do anything when he called me a slut. “Okay, we’ll let you go” Massimo said, I could see the surprise look on everyone’s faces. “Just let Rachel go and we’ll let you go.” Massimo begged him “I’m not that stupid” Anton sneered at Massimo. Then I heard someone at the back of Anton saying, “Let her go you piece of shit” He loosen his grip and I tried to get away from him I walked forward and darkness overtook me as I collapsed.

I ran to her “Bella, Bella. Wake up. Please wake up." Nothing. Edcardo was still holding his gun to Anton’s head. “Should I kill him Massimo?” he asked “No Edcardo I have other plans for him, he thinks he could rape my wife and get away with it, I'll show him." “Luca, Marco tie him up, gag him and put him in the back of the car, take him to the basement at the clu, I'll take care of him later. Damon will you sort out the clean up, burn this fucken place to the ground. I’m taking Bella to the hospital.” “Yes go Massimo. I've got this." I picked Bella up and started to run to the SUV. I started the car and started to drive, spinning the tyres as I pulled away. I drove like a mad man. What did that fucker do to her. We drove 45 minutes to Ricci’s estate I made it back to the city in 25 minutes. I stopped at the ER and started to scream “Help! Help!” People came rushing out with a bed and started to ask me questions, “What happened? What’s her name? Anything we should know?” “Her name is Rachel Marchetti, she’s pregnant, please help her. She’s unconscious.” While I walked next to her I called our OBGYN. When she answered I immediately said “Doc we need you, Rachel was raped she’s unconscious at the hospital and is bleeding a lot.” “Did you tell the ER staff she’s pregnant?” “Yes I did.” I’m on my way.” The nurses told me to wait in the waiting room. “Sir you need to wait in the waiting room.” “I don’t want to leave her.” “She’s safe I promise I’ll come and get you as soon as we finish with her.” Reluctantly I walked out of the Emergency room. As I walked into the waiting area, I called Frank. “What Massimo it’s late?” “I took out the Ricci’s tonight.” “You did what?” “You heard me.” “Why?” “They kidnapped my wife Anton raped her she’s unconscious in the hospital. She’s pregnant Frank, she’s bleeding, I’ll kill them again if something happens to her or our babies Frank.” “I’ll come to the hospital Massimo, the police are going to be all over your ass about what happened to her.” “Thank you, Frank.” “If the police come just tell them it’s an FBI matter and the agent is on his way.” “I will.” We disconnected. I stood in the waiting room thinking of all the worse scenarios. It was definitely not good for me. Dr Coolen arrived probable an hour later “They still busy with her?” “Yes doc” “I’ll go and see what’s wrong.” “Thank you doc.” I was going out of my mind more than 2 hours later a sister came to me and said “You could see her now.” “Thank fuck.” She walked in front of me to Rachel’s room. When I walked in, she was sitting in the bed with a drip in her arm and the OBGYN next to her with the sonar machine. I ran to her and grabbed her in a big hug. “Sorry Bella, I’m so sorry.” “It’s not your fault Massimo it was me that was hard headed and wanted to go out, you tried to stop me. I just didn’t want to listen. I wanted to live with my head in the sand. I won't make that mistake again." “I’m still sorry Bella.” The doctor cleared her throat. “Shall we look if the babies are, okay?” My heart stopped a second time tonight and I could see Bella starting to cry.
