Kozlov was seriously thinking I’m an informer by the look of the men pointing their guns at us. Obviously, my men also drawn theirs. “Luca lower your weapons.” “But boss...” “Luca do as I say.” All my men lower their weapons and I walked with my hands up towards Kozlov car. “Kozlov let’s talk!” I screamed at him. He got out of the car and looked at me then at my men and their weapons that wasn’t pointing at them. He made a hand gesture and all the men lower the weapons. “Da” “Kozlov I’m here I’m not an informer to the FBI, I have what you were looking for in my SUV can we get this deal done.” “You sure?” Kozlov asked me. “Sure, of what Kozlov?” “That there isn’t someone going to jump out of your SUV’s and take me in custody?” “You can check my men Kozlov, if that will make you feel better” “Net, let’s get on with it.” “Good” I walked with Kozlov to my SUV where the guns were.” One of his men stood at his car the rest followed us. Luca opened the back and showed Kozlov his product. “Everything there?” “Da, your silencers, shotguns, the rockets and grenades.” “Khoroshiy” I knew that meant good. Kozlov men came around and carried the firearms to their car, then the other guy that stayed back brought over the money. “Kozlov I’m really sorry for this misunderstanding.” “You better sort it. Or you going to lose more customers.” “Da” Was all I could say. He turned around and walked away. Just as he approached his vehicle he turned around “I’ll be in contact for the next shipment Marchetti. And I’ll speak to Fedorov and tell him everything is good with you.” “Thank you.” “Da” Then they got in their cars and drove off. “Thank fuck that went well.” I told Luca. “Yes, boss it was touch and go there for a minute.” “You can say that again. Any word on the car that was following the others?” “Yes, they are still following them.” “Let them lead those fuckers here. We are taken them out tonight.” “Okay boss.” Luca called the others and told them what to do then we got the rest together and told them what is about to happen. The new recruits looked excited, hopefully they’ll be able to pull the trigger. We all got ready and waited at least they weren’t too far away; I knew Bella will be worried but I needed to make the first move I need Costa to get desperate and contact Romana we need to put an end to this shit. We heard tires screaming as they took the turn then our cars where in sight as the next car came around the corner we started shooting. The first car hit a barrier, they crawled out of the car but my men was already ready for them, shooting them right in the head. As the next car came around the corner my men started shooting at them as well, they didn’t crash they where more prepared they started shooting back. I thanked Kozlov for bringing us to the middle of no were, because the gunshots would most definitely attract attention. The other car stopped and they jumped out taking cover behind the car. The bullets where flying but we had it under control we where all behind something. I took my shot as the one came around the car, thinking he will get me off guard. I shot him executional style between the eyes. As soon as the shooting stopped and it got quiet all my men walked over to me. “Put them all in the cars and set it a light but first Luca we need photo’s I want to send them to Costa. Let’s see if this sends him a clear message.” Luca got all the men together and off course gave the new recruits the shitty job, carrying the bodies to the cars. All of them was in the cars when I saw Luca taking a picture. I got in our SUV as the others set the cars alight. By the time the police or fire department gets here there will only be ashes left. Luca send the pictures to me. Then we drove away. I search for Costa’s number in my phone and send him the pictures. With a message “You want a war Costa, come for me. This is what happens to people messing with me.” Then I pressed send. “That will get his attention” I told Luca.
We arrived back at the apartment late night but when I walked into the apartment Bella ran to be and jumped into my arms, I needed to think quick to catch her. She pressed her head in my neck “Thank God you’re safe.” She cried “Bella, I told you, you don’t need to worry I’ll be safe.” “I know that’s what you said Massimo but anything can happen.” I carried her to the kitchen where I put her down on the kitchen counter, but she didn’t want to let go of me. “Bella, I need to get water.” She reluctantly let me go. I went over to the fridge and got myself a bottle of water. “You want anything Bella.” “I’ll have a soda please.” Bella was into her soda’s, water and Ice latte, since she is pregnant, she didn’t drink as many sodas before, latte’s yes and water a lot but not sodas. “Did you stay up waiting for me Bella?” “Yes, off course Massimo, I was worried.” “You need to stop worrying about me Bella it’s not good for the babies.” “Then stop doing stuff that makes me worry.” “You know I can’t.” “Yes, I know I just wish this whole thing with Costa is done with and we all can go on with our lives as normal as possible.” “I have a suspicion it will be over sooner than later Bella. Come let me take you to bed.” “What did you mean by that Massimo?” “Just that I send him a clear message tonight.” “That means there where people watching the apartment and followed you guys.” “Yes, indeed Bella, but don’t worry he needs other men to keep an eye on us now, we took care of those fuckers that was outside the building.” “Oh my.” Was all Bella said. I helped her of the kitchen counter and we walked to the bedroom. “I’m just going to take a quick shower Bella.” “No problem, I’m tired and now that I know you are safe I can go to bed. I’m glad you home safely Massimo.” “I’ll always come home to you Bella.” I walked to the bathroom and open the water when my phone went of indicating there was a message, I opened the message it was from Costa “I will kill you for this Marchetti.”
