Friday was a nightmare I had Braxton-Hicks contraction on and off the whole day I wondered if this meant I’m having the babies much earlier this is my first full term pregnancy I didn’t know what to expect. Saturday morning when I woke up it was much better no contractions. I felt in the mood to go to the shops maybe get the twins something. Massimo was already downstairs so I got up and got ready for the day. Today I could do it alone which made me very happy. Any day I get up and I didn’t need help I felt good. When I was ready and ready to go down stairs Massimo must have heard me because as soon as I wanted to take the first step he ran up “No wait Bella, I’ll help you.” “Morning Massimo.” “Sorry morning sweetheart. How you feeling today?” “Much much better I was thinking we can go shopping.” “You sure you didn’t look good yesterday.” “Jeez thanks.” “You know what I mean Bella.” “Yes, I know but we need to use the good days Massimo and today is a good day.” “Okay what do you want to do?” “I want to go to a shops and look for something for the twins.” “Okay we can do that. But first breakfast.” “Oh, do we have more of those chocolate croissants?” “Marco went out this morning and got you some. He said he had a feeling you want some this morning.” “Ah that’s sweet of him.” He helped me to my spot that’s when I noticed the new table and chairs arrived. “This is nice.” “Oh yes it came in yesterday while you were sleeping.” We sat in my special corner and Francesca brought out the pastries, luckily for me Massimo is Italian and they love their pastries in the morning. “This is to die for Massimo.” “They are delicious.” Then he got quiet. “What’s wrong Massimo?” “I don’t know if I should ask you?” “What Massimo? Just ask?” “I want to know if you are sure you wanted to go into town won’t there be triggers for you.” “I’m sure there won’t be if there was going to be triggers it would have presented themselves already, I mean we are a week here already.” “Yes, but we haven’t been in town already.” “We’ll take it slow okay Massimo if there are any problems I’ll tell you.” “You promise?” “Yes, Massimo I promise and I’m in the mood for rocky road ice-cream and I’m sure there is none in the house so we need to go into town.” “I see your point, Bella.” “Good. Know can we go?” “Yes, let me just call Luca and Marco.” He walked out then Francesca came to me “You sure you feeling better today, Rachel?” “Yes, Francesca I feel great today and everyday I’m feeling great I’m going to use as the other days I have to stay in bed.” “Okay Rachel. Just making sure.” Massimo came back and fetch me “Okay Bella if you are ready, we can go.” “I’m ready.” Massimo helped me into the SUV and we where off. As I was watching the building’s outside, I noticed Luca didn’t take our normal route to the shops I didn’t say anything because I knew what he was trying to do. “Luca, can we go to “The Little” that’s the store’s name.” “Okay Rachel.” A little while later we stopped at the store right in front. Massimo came over to my door and helped me out. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the sales lady. “Morning how can I help you?” Massimo waited for me to answer. “We just browsing for know I’ll tell you when we need your help.” “No problem.” “The Little was a very cute white storefront with blue writing. The cloths inside were just so cute and the shoes. Massimo took a small basket to put everything in apparently, he was going to buy a lot of stuff. I saw the prettiest blue shoes for Alessio and the same but in pink for Mia. “Isn’t this cute Massimo?” I asked as I put it in the basket. “Very do we only need one pair for each of them?” “Let’s see if there aren’t other shoes as well.” Which there where and both babies got 3 pair of shoes I’m sure I’m not going to use them but they where just so cute and why not apparently, I could afford it now. I also got the prettiest sun hats for the twins as well as matching baby grows. The sales lady was very happy when we got at the check-out point, I’m sure if I was in her position I would have been to because we spend a lot of money. Massimo helped me back into the SUV again and Luca asked “Next place Rachel?” “Keogh + Caro” “Okay” “Don’t you want to stop to get something to drink first Bella?” Massimo asked me. “After this store we can have a seat somewhere okay Massimo.” “Okay Bella.” Luca stopped in front of the store, when we walked in there wasn’t as much baby cloths as the first store but I did find a few matching outfits for the twins. Which was very nice. I didn’t spend that much money in this store. So, when we were finish Massimo asked me “You wanne stop at another store?” “No, I’m good we can go to a restaurant if you want to.” “Yes, it would be my honor to take my wife out for lunch.” “Then let’s go Massimo.” “Where to boss?” “Ivy on Main Luca.” We stopped at the restaurant when Massimo came to my door and helped me out again. “Why thank you.” I kissed him on the cheek. We walked into the restaurant and was immediately seated at a window seat which was nice. The sun was out and we can look at the people passing. Massimo had a weird energy around him. “What’s wrong Massimo.” “I have a surprise for you?” “You not normally so tense about a surprise what surprise on earth can it be?”
