Rachel
I was busy showering and getting ready to go and sit with Danielle. I couldn’t believe Damon would keep something so serious to himself. I thought Massimo and Damon was like brothers, don’t brothers share these kinds of things with each other. I could have been there for Danielle the whole time. Yes, I know I had the blood pressure and panic attack but still we should have known. I got dressed in a jean, one that was still fitting me, and a pretty cozy cardigan. I put the same color sneakers on as what my cardigan was. That was certainly the best thing of being rich, everything can fit together, you don’t need to buy one pair of sneakers that would fit with everything you can buy sneakers for every outfit, or shoes, whatever you want. When I was done, I went to my office to check for any e-mails or any problems at the apartment building. It would seem as if we got everything done by know. I just need to speak to Massimo about painting the building form the outside and the hallways. I think that would make it more popular for people to want to stay there. I saw there was another e-mail from the interior designer but decided to look at that when I’m with Danielle. When she’s a sleep I have something to keep me busy although I was burning to see what she sends me. At 2 pm Massimo came to fetch me in my office, I packed my laptop and we were off to Damon’s penthouse. “You ready for this meeting Massimo?” “I think we are ready for anything Bella; Ghost draw up a plan for every scenario and the men has a copy of the plan. Is Marco going with you?” “No Liam and Marco will stay with you and Danielle.” “Isn’t it overkill?” “Maybe but you want to stay with Danielle for, if something went wrong. Let’s say she needs to go back to the hospital for something, God forbid, but then it is better to have both your bodyguards there.” “Fine if you want to put it like that.” “See I think of everything.” “It would appear so. Does Danielle know I’m coming.” “I’m sure Damon did tell her.” “Okay, did you tell him I’m not happy with him.” “I did.” “And?” “He didn’t say anything Bella.” “I might be small Massimo, but I am pregnant and have a lot of hormones going through my body. I will be able to take him on.” “I am well aware of that fact Bella.” “Apparently Damon is not.” We drove to Damon’s under ground parking and went up in the lift. Damon found us in the foyer “Rachel thank you for doing this.” He said when he saw me. “If you told me earlier what was going on I would have been here.” “You had your own issues.” He spoke. “Well at least you knew about them.” I said sarcastically. “I’m sorry Rachel.” “You better be. We, is she?” “She’s sleeping.” “Does she know I’ll be here.” “I did tell her but I’m not sure if she remembered she was in quite a state when she got out of theater.” “Why is there something wrong?” “No everything is normal thank God. But I told her I’ll be there when she opens her eyes and I wasn’t because I wasn’t aloud in the theater recovery room.” “It’s fine I’ll handle her. You guys get rid of the cartel. I’m sure Danielle and I want to go shopping without looking over our shoulder for the next bullet.” “We will Bella. Massimo gave me a kiss, “I love you sweetheart.” “Love you to Massimo, come back to us.” “We will.” Damon ran to the room probable to kiss Danielle and then they were gone.

As soon as Bella was out of my office, I called Damon. “Massimo.” “Sorry Damon, just want to let you know Rachel will be coming over while we are busy with the meeting and she is very angry with you for not telling us.” “But you had your own problems Massimo.” “I understand Damon but she doesn’t, she told me to tell you, ‘She will have words with you.’ “For some reason I’m more scared of Rachel than the Cartel.” “Probably a good thing.” “I have to go Massimo.” Then we disconnected. I got Bella and we where on our way to Damon, she and Damon did have words and he did look at me for help but I knew when not to get involved and this was most definitely one of those times. I kissed Bella good bye and Damon disappeared to his room probable to say good bye to Danielle. Damon decided to ride with me to the club. “Rachel is really angry with me.” “I would say so.” “Massimo is it normal for her to tell you to come back safe to them?” “Yes why?” “Danielle and I had a fight because she said my work was dangerous and now every time, she tells me to come home safely I sort of get angry.” “Damon you’ll have to stop getting angry it’s a normal thing to say. If Bella goes for a run without me, I also tell her to be careful you never know anything can happen. Look what happened to Danielle after going for a run.” “Yes, but we fought before she went, she was probable didn’t take notice of anything because she was thinking about the fight.” “Damon she might have not, what excuse would you have used then. It’s normal, stop making more of it than it is. Or you going to fight much more.” “Your probable right.” “Have you looked at Ghost plans?” “Yes, we are ready.” We stopped at the club and Q was there opening the doors for us, we still have him at the club for the bouncer that worked there, we’ll probably need to get rid of him. He walked over to us “Mr. Marchetti, Damon, Costa is not here.” “We know we just using his club for a meeting.” “Let me phone him first.” Damon grabbed him at his chest and pressed him against the wall. “Costa is dead if you want to follow in his footsteps get in our way.” “Sorry Damon, it’s okay I’ll just leave.” “That is the best idea.” Damon said while throwing him down. Q took the lead to Costa’s office and Paul and Luca made sure the bouncer left the building. Damon and I went through the papers on Costa’s table and got to a list of what Costa wanted to discussed with the Cartel. “Someone is on our side Damon.” I said while waving the piece of paper.
