Am I in love again

Daisy and her mum were getting ready to enter her mom's car and go straight to meet Johnson when Daisy spoke up.
"Mom, I have an idea," she said, standing close to the car door.
"What idea?" her mom asked.
"Why don't you go alone? My presence might not create the right atmosphere to get his hair for the DNA test."
Juliana thought for a moment and nodded, looking at Daisy.
"You're right. So, can you stay alone at home?" she asked. Before Daisy could respond, her mom suggested, "Why don't you go and stay with your grandparents for a while? I don't know when I'll be back."
"Will you be staying there for long?" Daisy asked.
"No, once I get what I need, I'll let you know immediately."
"Okay, Mum." Daisy stepped away from the car door, went to meet her mom, hugged her, and kissed her on the right cheek. She watched her mom get into the car and drive away. As soon as her mom left, Daisy went inside, packed some of her clothes, came out, got into her car, and drove to her grandparents' place.
Juliana was driving her car slowly towards Johnson's house and she was deep in thought.
"What am I going to tell Johnson? I hope he doesn't expect anything from me. Wouldn't he think that meeting him means I want him? I need to be careful not to give the wrong impression or make him think that drugging me worked in his favor."
As she pondered over what to do, her car's speed gradually decreased until she parked it by the side of the road.
"Should I go there and act like I was just passing by, or say I came to spend the night?" Various thoughts raced through her mind. Just as she was contemplating, her phone rang. She picked it up and saw that Gabriel was calling. She stared at the phone until the call ended, then placed it on the dashboard. At that moment, she closed her eyes and rested her head, and a sudden idea struck her. She opened her eyes quickly, clenched her right fist, started the car, and drove towards Johnson's house.
It was almost 4 pm when she parked her car in front of Johnson's house. She got out and walked straight to the door, banging on it forcefully. Within a few seconds, Johnson opened the door, and he seemed like he wanted to smile, but Juliana spoke angrily.
"Do you think I wasn't aware that you touched me after drugging me? Did you think you could get away with that? I despise you for it. Who gave you the audacity to touch my body without my permission?" Juliana's eyes widened as she spoke. Without wasting any time, Johnson's excited expression faded, and his new demeanor shocked Juliana, although she didn't show it.
"Is he really guilty of sleeping with me? Why does his face show guilt?" she wondered.
"I'm very sorry," he said.
"I'm sorry for yourself," she quickly replied, feeling confused. She walked towards her car, and Johnson ran after her, standing in front of her. Her new revelation didn't help her at all; instead, it made her very angry that she had been so naive not to realize that someone had slept with her.
"I swear, I never had intercourse with you. I only sucked your breasts and played with them. Believe me," Johnson pleaded.
Juliana's anger diminished significantly upon hearing his words, and she held onto the car door, standing there.
"Why would you do such a thing? Should I call what you did rape?"
"Please, don't call it rape. I was carried away by your beauty. Have you forgotten? You were my love years ago, and those emotions are still within me. Please, forgive me. Let's go inside, please, and have some wine."
"So that you can drug my wine again?" Juliana said, demonstrating with her hands, causing both of them to burst out laughing. The chemistry of love was still present between them.
"You haven't given up on your love for breast sucking," Juliana said with a smile on her face.
"How can I? Every time I see you, I remember where you came from."
"Hmmm... but I have a boyfriend."
Johnson playfully attempted to hold her hand, but Juliana pulled it away, and they entered the house. As Johnson headed towards the bar, Juliana quickly got up and followed him.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"I don't want a repeat of what happened the last time I came here," she replied.
Johnson smiled, took a new bottle of wine, opened it in her presence, and poured it into two glasses. They started drinking, and the living room fell silent. Johnson stole glances at Juliana's face.
"It's so good to see you again," he said.
"You were a coward and never showed up," she said with a sad face.
"Do you really want to know what happened that day? I wasn't a coward, and it's time to tell you. You've always said that I'm a coward and that I ran away. I thought it wasn't necessary, but now I see how necessary it is."
"So tell me what I don't know," she said, dropping her glass of wine and folding her arms.
"I'm waiting," she added when he was delaying.
Johnson remained silent for at least thirty seconds, simply looking at Juliana. The longer he looked at her, the stronger their emotional connection became, and then Juliana turned her eyes away.
"Do you know that your dad knew you came to my house two days before the wedding?"
"He knew?" Juliana asked, surprised.
"Yes, he knew about it."
"How?" Juliana asked, and she noticed Johnson trying to hold back tears as he continuously used his right hand to cover his eyes and rubbed them.
"I'm waiting for you. Tell me what I don't know."
"Your dad was the obstacle to our love and our plan. As planned, I packed my clothes and put them in the luggage, and all my travel documents were ready. I don't know how the cab driver worked hand in hand with your dad. I called the man to pick me up as planned," he paused, stood up, and fought his emotions. Then he went to the wall, rested his hands on it, and buried his face. Juliana witnessed all of this and felt pity for him. She was so moved that she stood up, slowly moved her fingers, and touched Johnson's back.
"What happened? I'm listening," Juliana said, eager to hear Johnson's story.
When Johnson turned to face her, tears were already streaming down his face, and he quickly embraced her, trying to hide his own tears. They held each other tightly, finding great comfort in the embrace. Eventually, Johnson pulled away, his eyes red and his face wet with tears.
Feeling embarrassed, he left the sitting room and went inside. Curious, Juliana approached his bedroom and found him taking a bath. The only sound was the splashing of water on the bathroom floor.
"Is Johnson telling me a different story about himself?" she wondered, waiting until Johnson purposely came out of the bathroom naked to grab his towel. Juliana averted her gaze upon seeing him naked.
"What are you doing?" Johnson laughed, trying to bring back their previous level of excitement. Putting on his pants, he walked over to Juliana and said,
"Your dad kidnapped me and made me watch your wedding through a live stream as a form of punishment. Please don't be confused when you see me crying. When I remember that moment, I usually cry just like I did when you were taking your vows. My hands and legs were tied, my mouth was closed, except for my eyes." He paused, then went to the sitting room and brought their glasses of wine, handing one to Juliana.
"I almost had your dad arrested, but he was clever and left no evidence. He never showed up, and I knew he was behind everything." He moved closer to her and continued,
"Juliana, I was never the coward you always called me. After your wedding and immediately after I was freed, I was filled with anger. I left the city and started living a very shameful life that I wouldn't want to share with anyone."
"What kind of shameful life?" she asked, getting closer to him.
"It's not something you'd be proud of. I hated women for a long time and treated them poorly. Please, I don't want to talk about it. The only way I can find redemption is if you come back to me."
"Johnson, I am deeply sorry for how I treated you initially. Now I know it wasn't your fault. It's all my dad's fault. But who should I believe? My dad jokingly told me days after the wedding that he paid you off. He said that was the money you used to leave the city and start a new life."
"That was a big lie. Your dad is the most desperate man I've ever seen. He made sure our love never saw the light of day. But thankfully, you're here with me. Can we start from where we left off?"
As Juliana's phone started ringing, she raised it to her eyes but couldn't answer the call.
"Who's calling you?" Johnson asked.
"My boyfriend," she replied.
"Answer the call," Johnson said slowly.
"Are you serious?" she asked, shocked by what Johnson did next. He quickly took the phone from her hand, but before he could answer the call, it ended. Johnson still held the phone when an audio message came through. He pressed play, and it said,
"Hello honey, please, you need to listen to me. My heart is broken. Daisy told me that you're at your ex-boyfriend's place. Remember, he's your ex, and I still love you. Come, let me tell you everything about my life."
They looked at each other, both waiting for someone to break the silence in the room.
“What life does he want to tell you? Does it mean he is worthless?” Johnson asked. When Juliana wasn't willing to speak he added, “don't try to hide anything from me, I have once lived the kind of life I never wanted because of you and your dad. What are you hiding from me?” He held Juliana closer to him.
“Why is my heart beating for him?” Juliana thought as she drew closer to him.
