I need more attention

Stephanie was in her car, going to James’s house. The closer she got, the more she pondered over how James had gradually changed.
“Ever since James got hired, he’s been different. He used to enjoy staying at my place, but once he got the job, everything changed. Did I do something wrong? Though his expressions seem fine,” she thought.
When she parked her car in front of James’s place, she turned off the engine but didn’t immediately step out. She was deeply worried.
“Should I talk to him about it, or am I just being too sensitive?” she wondered, still inside the car. James opened the door and my anger vanished as soon as I saw him dressed in a white tank top and boxer shorts. He was the most attractive man she had ever seen.
“My darling,” he said, spreading his arms as they walked towards each other and embraced.
“I thought you were coming tomorrow. Why did you change your mind?” James asked, still holding her right hand and was smiling at her.
“I want to spend the night here and go to work from here tomorrow morning. Is that alright with you?” she asked, carefully looking into his eyes for his reaction.
“I’m okay with it,” he shrugged. “Spending the night with you is all I wish for every day.”
“Really?” she asked.
“Yes,” he replied, and cheerfully lifted Stephanie off the ground. As they headed inside, they kissed, and James closed the door with his right leg.
It was nearly 6:30 pm, and the sun was setting. James took her to his bedroom, and just as Stephanie was about to undress, James said,
“Wait, let me do it myself.” As he undressed her, she couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Since you got that job, we haven’t been intimate,” Stephanie whispered into James’s ear.
“That’s why today will be special. I’ll pay for the past days,” James said, making Stephanie giggle because of the way he said it.
“I’m all yours. Do whatever you please. I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long,” Stephanie replied.
“Oh!” James exclaimed. “I forgot, I’m on medication.”
“Medication? When did you see the doctor? And you didn’t even tell me,” Stephanie asked with great concern.
Initially, Stephanie didn’t understand where James was going with his words, and he gradually lost interest in undressing himself.
“Please, give me a few minutes,” he said, and without Stephanie noticing, he took her phone and went into the bathroom. He quickly searched for Juliana’s pictures on Stephanie’s phone, sent them to his own phone, and erased the trace, ensuring that Stephanie wouldn’t find out someone had sent pictures from her phone. Then, he tapped on Juliana’s picture on Stephanie’s phone and imagined Juliana without any clothes on. Gradually, Juliana’s pictures began to arouse him, and he closed his eyes, his other hand pleasuring himself.
After satisfying himself, James emerged from the bathroom still envisioning Juliana in his mind and proceeded to make love with Stephanie. He tried to prolong his climax by focusing on the memories of the pictures, but as those thoughts faded, his sexual desire diminished.
“Are you finished?” Stephanie asked. This wasn’t the James she knew. James withdrew from her private part after managing to climax.
“What did I tell you before we started? I said I’m on medication. If it weren’t to please you, I wouldn’t have engaged in sexual activity with you,” James said, then went to the bathroom. Shortly after, the sound of running water could be heard.
Despite James’s explanation, Stephanie felt uneasy. She lay down in a moody state, watching James enter the bathroom some minutes ago. For a moment, her desires were selfish, and all she wanted was intense, passionate sex. Although it wasn’t her fault, this had been James’s behavior throughout their relationship.
“He’s not feeling well,” Stephanie closed her eyes, trying to convince herself and weigh between James’s health and her sexual needs.
“Once he recovers, he’ll be able to satisfy me as he always has,” she reminisced about her past experiences with James.
James spent a considerable amount of time in the bathroom, and when Stephanie couldn’t wait any longer, she fell asleep. Upon seeing that Stephanie had closed her eyes, James decided not to disturb her and went to the living room with his phone, and he sat down.
“What’s happening to me?” he pondered, this time without opening his phone to look at Juliana’s pictures.
“I can’t even find Stephanie attractive anymore. All I crave is to touch Juliana’s body. It’s gone from a mere imagination to something I can’t live without. Does this mean that if I have a chance with Juliana once, I’ll find myself again? If I don’t look at her pictures, I won’t be sexually aroused. How long can I continue like this? How long can I use the excuse of not feeling well with Stephanie?” He stood up and went to the balcony, where he could speak without Stephanie hearing his voice.
On the balcony, without realizing it, James opened his phone and started looking at Juliana’s pictures. In his haste to send the pictures, he accidentally sent the entire folder of Juliana’s pictures from Stephanie’s phone. To his surprise, there were pictures of Juliana wearing only underwear.
“Why would Juliana send these erotic pictures to Stephanie?” he exclaimed, his lips parting as he scrolled down. He noticed another picture of Juliana wearing red pants and a red bra, with a caption that read:
“Do you think these undies would turn on my husband?”
It dawned on him that Juliana had taken these pictures at home and sent them to Stephanie, seeking her opinion on which underwear would sexually arouse her man.
“They’re already arousing me. What a stunning woman in the hands of a man who doesn’t appreciate natural beauty. Her eyes are like the morning sun, and her lips are unique,” he mused to himself. He abruptly stopped talking when he heard some noise in the living room, as if the TV had been turned on. He paused and realized that Stephanie had gotten up and switched on the TV. James left the balcony and tapped his chest repeatedly as he approached the living room, pretending to have a cough.
“Sorry, dear. I didn’t realize it was this serious,” Stephanie said.
“Thank you. I thought you were sleeping,” James replied.
“No, I decided to rest for a while.”
“Okay. Let me collect something from my room,” James said, and he left the living room.
“I never imagined sitting down and watching television in James’s house, I came here for sexual pleasure,” Stephanie thought, gazing in the direction James had passed. When he had gone inside, she continued her thoughts.
“Is James’s illness the cause of the strain in our relationship? This isn’t the James I knew. Even when he was extremely stressed the other day, we still had an intense sexual encounter. I always knew James loved sex as much as I do, and he appears relatively healthy on the outside,” she pondered, glancing back to see if James was coming. When he didn’t appear, she continued.
“I’ll give him a few days to recover, giving him the benefit of the doubt. I know he won’t disappoint me next time.”
The longer she waited for James to emerge, the darker the day grew. After approximately thirty minutes, she decided to get up and check on James. Upon entering his bedroom, she found him lying on the bed, face down, with his phone in his hand.
“He must be tired,” she thought, without hesitation, walking closer and kissing his cheek. She gently took his phone from his hand and placed it on the table.
At midnight, James woke up and realized his phone wasn’t in his hand. The realization struck him like a lightning bolt, and he quickly got up and turned on a brighter light. He saw Stephanie sleeping on the bed, while his phone was on the table. James cautiously approached the table, picked up his phone, and unlocked the screen. To his surprise, Juliana’s pictures were displayed, and he had forgotten to remove them from the screen after falling asleep while imagining Juliana lying next to him.
“Did she see Juliana’s pictures on my phone?” James asked himself, feeling extremely uneasy. He paced around the room, contemplating what he should say to Stephanie the next day.
“Why aren’t you sleeping?” Stephanie’s voice startled James, and he turned around with his heart racing, expecting her to say something about the pictures.
“Come and sleep. You need rest to fully recover,” she said. When she didn’t mention the pictures or show any signs of concern, James’s racing heart calmed down. He walked to the bed and said,
“The medication is giving me bad dreams.”
“Don’t worry, you’ll be fine. It’s just a dream, put your hands on me and you will be okay.” Stephanie reassured him. They embraced each other and went back to sleep.
The next morning, James still wasn’t convinced that Stephanie hadn’t seen the pictures. After breakfast, as Stephanie was getting ready to leave for work, James anxiously observed her lips, fearing she would bring up the topic, especially since she was going out alone.
“Aren’t you going to work? It’s almost 8 a.m.,” she asked.
“My job is very flexible. I can work from home, and today I’ll be doing that,” James replied.
“Okay, it’s time for me to go to work,” Stephanie said and James hoped she would start leaving.
Stephanie was still in James’s bedroom, standing near the door.
“Please, just go,” James thought as he sat on his bed.
Stephanie hesitated for a moment, appearing reluctant to leave, but then her face turned pale. Her facial expressions worried James and he stood up and asked, while his mind filled with fear,
“Stephanie, what’s wrong?”
“What have I done to deserve this?” Stephanie asked, walking out of the room, trying hard to hold back tears. James rushed to catch up with her, wondering if she had seen the pictures.
