Don't feel uncomfortable
Justin’s pov
As Sadie entered my room, I turned my gaze towards the door and my phone slipped from my hand. Luckily, it fell onto the bed, and she didn’t notice the effect her presence had on me and my heart suddenly pounded. My mind was filled with various thoughts. Does she dress like this at home? Doesn’t she realize how her stunning beauty affects me? Should I make a move on her? Is just the two of us at home. But the consequences could be severe now that my wife has left and Daisy has promised to return to me later today. Why can’t I control myself whenever I see her cleavage? She probably sees me as a father figure, so why can’t I see her as my daughter?
“Sir, how was your night?” Sadie interrupted my thoughts, and I needed to shake off my sexual thoughts before I could respond.
“What did you say?” I asked, my mind going blank. She came closer and repeated her question.
“I said, sir, how was your night?”
“Sir? No, call me by my name.” I replied.
“I feel uncomfortable addressing you by your name,” she said.
“Don’t feel uncomfortable. I’m giving you permission to call me by my name. You look gorgeous!” I looked straight into her eyes and I added, “if you need anything including money, let me know.”
I held her hand, and there was a pleasant and strange feeling from the touch. Or probably because it was just the two of us in the house. There was a constant warning in my mind, telling me not to do anything. I could feel the blood rushing to my genitals, as if they wanted to respond to how my heart was feeling. Why is my sexual desire behaving this way? Is it because it's been a long time since I’ve had sex, or am I falling for this young lady? Another thought reminded me not to fool myself or cross any boundaries, as she might tell my daughter.
I wanted to stand up, but then I realized I was still wearing my nightgown, which was very light. So, I remained seated, fearing any visible reaction from my cock.
“Are you the one whose boyfriend recently broke up with you?” I asked.
She nodded, and I could see her smile fading.
“I’m sorry to hear that…” I started to say, but before I could finish my sentence, she said,
“I’m also sorry to hear that your wife left this morning.”
“I…” I wanted to reply, but she interrupted me.
“Those who have good things don’t appreciate them at all. How will you cope now that she has left?” she asked. I wasn’t sure what direction the question was going or what kind of answer she was expecting.
“When there’s a beautiful lady like you around, I’ll be able to cope well if you understand how I’m feeling,” I said, trying to flirt with her.
She suddenly burst out laughing, revealing her set of pure white teeth. Every time she spoke, she reminded me of the lady I met at the hotel. Should I invite her to sit with me on the bed? Can’t you see those lips, so tender to kiss? Her boyfriend who left her must be out of his mind. How will I know if she’ll accept what I’m about to tell her? Why don’t I give her a hotel room number and see if she shows up? What if she shows up with my daughter? How will I be able to explain that to Daisy? She will immediately believe whatever Juliana had told her about me that was not true.
“Justin,” she waved her hand in front of my eyes. I hope she doesn’t think I am carried away but what I’m seeing.
“Yes,” I replied, snapping out of my thoughts.
“I’ve been asking you a question, but you kept me quiet,” she said, and then I realized my thoughts had taken me away.
“I’m sorry,” I apologized with a smile.
“I know you’re thinking about your wife,” she said.
“Hmm… not really my wife. How long are you staying here?” I asked.
“I can’t tell for now. I have a job interview, and they could call me anytime. Whenever they message me, I’ll need to go back,” she said.
“Okay!” To control myself, I lay on the bed with my backside so I wouldn’t see her clearly and my eyes would be facing the ceiling. It was then that I heard a notification sound from my phone. The phone was on the bed, so I turned and picked it up with my right hand and checked the screen to see who had sent me a message. My first thought was that it was from my wife, Juliana. I brought the phone closer to my eyes, but it wasn’t a message from my wife. It was the message I had been waiting for, a message from the blind date app. I didn’t bother tapping on the message, but the joy that filled me made me sit up and start smiling.
“What did I say that’s making you smile? Is it because I asked what I should prepare for breakfast?” she asked.
“No, you wouldn’t understand. I have an important appointment coming up. If I’m not mistaken, Daisy promised to find a handsome guy for you, right?”
“How did you know that?” She blushed, still standing. I pointed to the chair closest to the bed and said, “Please, sit down.” I watched her take her steps and her curves wobbled before my eyes, but the emotional desire I had for her vanished the moment the message from the app came in. All I had planned was to meet the young lady at the hotel, and then the next day and ask her out. Since my wife had left me, I needed to start a new relationship and this time with someone young and fresh.
“What kind of man do you love?” I said, and Sadie couldn’t stop giggling.
“I’m serious about helping you find a guy you’ll love,” I said.
“Justin, my decision depends on the job I’m waiting to hear back from. I wouldn’t want a long-distance relationship. If I get the job in my city, then my new boyfriend should be there with me.”
I shifted my gaze away from her and picked up my phone. Without checking the message, I made a video call to my youngest brother, Eric.
“Hello, Eric,” I greeted, immediately putting the phone on speaker mode.
“Good morning, Justin,” he greeted.
“How was your night?” I asked.
“Very good, what about yours?” he replied.
“I’m fine. I have a surprise for you. But first, let me ask, are you still single? I know sometime ago, you told me you are single.”
“Why are you asking?” he started smiling. He was about to take a bath and had wrapped himself in a blue towel.
“It’s not a joke. I’m serious. I have a beautiful lady here that I want to introduce to you.”
“Why didn’t you tell me you wanted to set me up with someone? I don’t like surprises like this,” Sadie said angrily.
The video call was still on, and when I saw her reaction I said,
“I’m really sorry.”
“Please end the call before I can say anything,” Sadie said in the same angry tone, and I simply obeyed as I noticed she was no longer smiling.
“I’m sorry,” I stood up and approached her with no intention of anything sexual. The message from the dating app had erased any emotional attachment I had for her. There were many risks and complications involved in pursuing a romantic relationship with her. She is my daughter’s best friend, and I didn’t want to jeopardize my relationship with my daughter. The app had already informed me of the date I would be meeting the lady I had suddenly fallen in love with. So, there was no need to establish a romantic relationship with someone so close to my daughter.
As I was about to approach Sadie , she stood up and angrily walked out of my room.
“Sadie, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you this morning,” I said, raising my hands in humorous frustration. It was clear that Sadie was angry. I went back to my bed, sat down, and closed my eyes with my hands. I didn’t want to rush after her because she might increase her pace and accidentally fall down the stairs.
I waited for about four minutes before leaving my room and quietly descending the stairs. On my way, I contemplated what my first statement should be when I entered her room. Should I comment on her beauty? Did I remind her of her past relationship to the point where she developed a fear of surprises?
I stood in front of her door, and as soon as I heard her sobbing, I realized that this had gone beyond my expectations.
“Sadie !” I knocked on the door, and when I tried to open it, I found that she had locked it.
“Please, open the door, Sadie . Please, open the door. I have something to tell you.”
