When will the nurse give her the drug?

It’s now nine months later and Larisa had started sensing the sign of giving birth and it started very early in the morning. Then Dylan got up from the bed.
“We need to go back to your city.”
“Then call your brother that we are coming.”
Dylan immediately called Taylor and informed him of their coming. Before now, Taylor had begged Dylan to bring Larisa so that he could sign the birth certificate after she delivers.
About two hours after Taylor had finished talking to Dylan, he quickly called Gabriel's phone number.
"Hello
Gabriel, the time has come. Larisa is finally coming, but there is a little
problem."
"What's the problem?" Gabriel asked
as he sensed Taylor's panic.
"I guess Larisa is in labor."
"How do you know?" Gabriel asked.
"Dylan called me and told me to collect to the airport with an ambulance. It's obvious. What if she gives birth at the plane or airport? Larisa has killed me. The thought out plan is about to be ruined." Taylor and his friend, Gabriel had planned to give Larisa a drug so that she wouldn't be able to take care of a newborn. In doing so, Taylor will not allow her to go back to New York with the baby. They even planned to inject her with a drug to weaken her so that their plan will work out perfectly well.
"Don’t worry, this is her first pregnancy, the slightest labor pain would cause her to panic and she might
think that she has reached the desired length of pelvic bones to respond." Gabriel said whose girlfriend was a doctor.
"What do you mean? These are medical terms. Those are not what I want to hear. Is that drug ready that we have planned to administer to her so that I can carry out my plan?"
"I am coming to your hospital now so that we can take the ambulance and go straight to the airport to hear from her. Please, tell the nurse that it is today.”
"She cannot give her the injection now, it will be given thirty minutes to one hour after she delivers. Have you forgotten?"
"Gabriel, are you sure this drug will be effective just the way your girlfriend said it?" Taylor asked.
"Yes. There is not much time to talk on the phone. Are we not going to see each other face to face?”
Meanwhile, at the plane, Larisa could feel that she had entered labor to deliver her birth and she had started to feel gradual excruciating pain.
"Hold my hand," she tightened her lips and Dylan held her hand.
"We are very close. The plan is about to descend." Dylan said.
"Hmm… I can't bear it anymore."
"You are almost there, or should I tell
the air hostess?"
"No, I will try and make it until the plane lands," she said.
Finally, the plane landed and the pain of Larisa reduced again and she was able to come out of the plane as well while Dylan was holding her right hand. Dylan took out his phone and called Taylor,
"Where are you? We are already here."
It didn't take much time for Taylor and Gabriel to locate Dylan and Larisa. And the first thing Taylor did was to embrace.
"Wow," he tenderly touched my big belly and all I could do was to look at him without much emotion.
"Thank you for coming. This is the best you that has happened to me." Taylor said and we walked out and they actually brought a big white ambulance. This was the moment Larisa started feeling slightly discomfort. Only Larisa and Gabriel and the two nurses entered the ambulance, while Taylor helped Dylan to take the luggage into the truck of his car and they entered Taylor's car and drove home.
Both of them were sitting at the front of his car and Taylor was very delighted.
"He should be happy," Dylan thought. "This is his first baby." Dylan just nodded. They had not driven a long distance before Taylor said,
"How can you describe Larisa's lifestyle in New York?"
"Lifestyle?" Dylan was shocked. "We hardly see each other."
"Do you think she has a boyfriend?" Taylor asked.
"I don't know. Probably. She is a beautiful lady and having a boyfriend wouldn't
be so difficult."
"I'm planning to propose to her again, but this time, she might accept it."
"How are you so sure?" Dylan asked.
"I am so certain that she will accept."
"When are you going back?" Taylor asked.
"Soon, as long as we can celebrate the joy of your baby first."
"Dylan, I am about to tell you a secret and I want you to keep it to yourself for now.
You may wonder why I am asking you some questions about Larisa. I thought both of you were very close in New York."
"Hmm… not that close."
"Okay, Larisa and I have been talking all this while and we have been able to rejuvenate our relationship again because of our baby. She will not be going back to New York again."
"Are you so sure of what you are telling me?" Dylan smiled.
"Hundred percent sure. But she may lie to you. I want to use this opportunity to tell you that I want you to be my best man at the wedding. Please, for my sake, I want you to exercise so patiently and wait before going back to New York." Then Taylor's phone immediately started ringing and it disrupted their discussion.
"Hello Gabriel, what's the latest?" Taylor asked.
"The mother of your baby has entered labor to give birth. Before tomorrow morning,
she must have given birth."
"Thanks for the update. I will be coming there as soon as I drop my brother at
home." He replied to Gabriel on the phone and then ended the call.
"Why can I go there with you? We can go together."
"Really?" Taylor asked.
"Yes." Then Taylor stopped the car and took the direction of the hospital. About thirty minutes later, they got to the hospital. Taylor was allowed to get to the room through the help of Gabriel, but Dylan was asked to wait at the waiting hall.
When Taylor got to the room where Larisa was lying down and some nurses were attending to her. He took her hand and wanted to kiss the back of her hand, then Larisa quickly dragged her hand and she was
in intense pain. After the refusal, Taylor quickly took Gabriel aside and asked.
"How is the plan going?"
"Very fine. As soon as she gives birth, I will inject the drug. Relax yourself."
"How will I relax when everything depends on you giving her
the medicine we planned for over eight months? Oh, and don't forget to call her mum. After she gives birth and we follow through with our plans, the doctor will need to talk to you and her mum."
It was 4 am the next day when Larisa finally gave birth to a baby girl, but her condition immediately after delivery required a more experienced and senior doctor to join them and save Larisa's life and the baby. This delayed the administration of the drug that Gabriel and Taylor had planned to give Larisa.
At 6 am, while Taylor was sitting in the waiting room with Dylan and Mrs Fiona, a nurse called their attention.
"Excuse me, is anyone here named Taylor? The new doctor wants to see you."
Taylor stood up, tapped Dylan and Mrs Fiona, and said, "Let's go inside; the doctor wants to see us."
When they reached the doctor's office, he asked them all to take a seat. Before he could finish speaking, Taylor remained standing and asked anxiously, "How is my love and our baby doing?"
"They are fine, but..."
"But what?" Taylor interrupted.
"Please calm down."
"I can't calm down. Tell me what's happening."
"Larisa had a successful delivery, and the baby girl is healthy. However, both Larisa and the baby are facing a medical condition. They urgently need blood."
"Doctor, what do you want us to do? Do you think Larisa and our baby will survive?" Taylor asked.
"You're the father, right?"
"Yes."
"We will need your blood."
"That's not a problem. I want them both to survive."
Taylor accompanied one of the nurses to have his blood taken. After the procedure, he and Gabriel stepped outside to discuss the situation.
"Gabriel, what's going to happen? You and the nurse haven't administered the medicine to Larisa yet."
"We will do it. Once this new doctor finishes examining the situation and gives the necessary orders, he will leave."
Taylor and Gabriel waited for the new doctor, who showed particular concern for Larisa and the baby. When it was 1 pm, Taylor took Gabriel aside again and asked,
"What's happening? When are we going to administer the medicine?"
“The doctor is still around.”
