She is still in the early months of pregnancy.

The moment his hands roamed over her body, a soft gasp escaped her lips. Dora arched against him, her hips pressing into his in perfect rhythm as he moved against her. Their bodies fit together like a puzzle, lost in the heat of the moment.

Everything else faded. The office, breakfast, even the presence of another person in the house, it all became distant.

Austin’s breath was hot against her skin as he trailed kisses down her neck. One hand slid under her shirt, fingers teasing her sensitive skin, while the other found its way past the waistband of her pants. A shudder ran through her as his touch sent a spark straight through her core. His body pressed against her from behind, lips claiming every inch of her neck, one hand exploring her chest, the other stroking her with slow, deliberate movements. The sensation overwhelmed her, and she could only breathe out, “Please, do not stop.”

Hearing the raw need in her voice, something in Austin snapped. His own hunger deepened. The need to be inside her, to claim her completely, consumed him. He turned her around, lowering her onto the table as he kept his hand on her. Dora’s breathing quickened. The anticipation, the pleasure, it was almost too much. He gripped her waist, his movements growing more urgent.

When he felt her body tighten, signaling she was on the edge, he landed a sharp smack on her rear. “Say it,” he demanded, voice thick with desire.

A strangled moan left Dora’s lips before she finally gave in. “Please, Daddy.”

That was all it took. Her body trembled as waves of pleasure crashed over her. She bit her lip, head tilting back, completely lost in the moment. Austin held her tightly as she rode out the feeling, his own release following soon after. His body tensed before he groaned, collapsing onto her, both of them breathless.

For a moment, neither of them moved. Their chests rose and fell, hearts hammering against each other. Austin finally let out a satisfied sigh. “If this is what pregnancy does to you, I would not mind keeping you pregnant forever.”

Heat flooded Dora’s cheeks. She covered her face with her hands, still feeling the lingering effects of their heated moment. It had only been two days since she started staying with him, yet her desires had taken a life of their own.

Just as she tried to calm her thoughts, Austin pulled her onto his lap, adjusting her in his arms. The embarrassment returned as memories of her moans filled her mind. She buried her face against his neck, hoping to hide from his teasing gaze. His chuckle vibrated against her.

“Do not start something if you cannot handle the fire,” he murmured, amusement clear in his tone.

She peeked up at him, cheeks still flushed. “Where did you learn to say ‘Daddy’ like that?” he asked, straightening her clothes, though his eyes still held a hint of mischief. He was tempted for another round, but he controlled himself, knowing they had already pushed their limits for the morning.

“I heard Sienna say it once,” she admitted, her voice muffled.

Austin groaned in annoyance. “That woman.”

Before they could continue, a sharp clearing of a throat made them both turn. Dora immediately sat up straight, fixing her clothes. Ann stood at the doorway, arms crossed, eyes filled with quiet judgment.

“I thought you would be finished eating by now,” she said, carefully looking away from them.

Dora sank into her chair, face burning. Austin, however, cursed Ann under his breath for ruining their moment. Breakfast went on in silence, Ann watching them closely. She had given them space, but seeing them act like reckless teenagers, she had no choice but to intervene. Her concern was for Dora, knowing how important nutrition was for her and the baby.

Ann sighed, her voice firm. “Sir, you need to act responsibly. She is still in the early months of pregnancy.”

Dora coughed on her food, eyes widening. Austin’s jaw tightened, clearly not liking the scolding. Ann had been briefed about Dora’s condition before being assigned to the house, and she took her duty seriously.

“I am here to make sure she stays healthy. I will not let anything compromise that.”

Austin opened his mouth to argue, but Dora spoke first. “We will be more careful.”

Ann’s words filled her with unexpected warmth. It had been a long time since someone genuinely looked out for her like this. It reminded her of her father.

A pang of nervousness hit her. Tomorrow, they were supposed to return to town. She had no idea how she would face him.

Meanwhile, Austin’s phone buzzed. A message from Ronan. A slow, wicked smirk spread across his lips.

Something was about to happen.

The tension in the air shifted. Dora watched as his expression darkened, his eyes narrowing at whatever was on the screen. He typed something back quickly before placing the phone face down on the table. When he finally looked at her, there was something unreadable in his gaze. A flicker of danger, a hint of something more.

“You should rest,” he said softly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “Tomorrow might be a long day.”

Dora hesitated. “Is everything okay?”

He exhaled, giving her a reassuring smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Everything is under control.”

She knew better than to press. Austin always had his secrets, and this was one of them. But something in her gut told her, whatever was coming, it wouldn’t be simple.

As she lay in bed later that night, curled under the covers, her mind kept replaying the moment in the dining room. Ann’s words, Austin’s unreadable expression, the message from Ronan. She couldn’t shake the feeling that this was the calm before the storm.

And she had no idea if she was ready for it.
