Why will I stop crying?
Sadie’s pov
Was Justin’s drunk? What almost came over him? The moment he stood up and said he had to thank someone he had recently met and who had changed his life. I almost dug the ground to bury myself. He was so direct that everyone was waiting for him to complete his statement. What if he had called my name? I could see how Juliana adjusted her eyes and everyone immediately kept quiet. It was as if I was about to have a heart attack. What would I have done or to tell Daisy or how can I stand in front of her when she hears about our affair?
It was in my new room that Justin had given me when these thoughts couldn’t leave me. Justin also showed Daisy her beautiful room and he didn’t say anything about Juliana’s room.
I was sitting down on my brand new bed and I was so angry that I left the house just as everyone was leaving when the party came to an end yesterday. Daisy left with her boyfriend and I saw Juliana leaving in the hand of a man I have not seen before. Until I received Justin’s passionate phone call that brought me back the next morning. At first, I didn’t want to say anything about it. I wanted it to die down without us discussing it again, but I couldn’t stay without voicing it out again.
That morning after agreeing to come and see him in the new house, he walked into my room. The moment he saw the nature of my face, he knew I was reflecting on what he did yesterday.
“My love, are you still upset about what happened yesterday?” He stood in front of me and before he could make any excuse, I said,
“Why wouldn’t I be angry with you? You wanted to give me a public disgrace.”
“How? Is it wrong to…”
“To tell everyone what we are doing in secret?” I helped him to complete his statement. He wanted to extend his hands and hold me, but I moved away.
“Sadie, why are you treating me like this? You have forgotten what we planned to do. Didn’t we say we would spend the night together after the party?”
“Yes!” I answered.
“So…”
“What about how you almost introduced me to everyone, was it part of our plan?”
“No, but I didn’t know what came over me. Believe me and listen to me. How would I survive without you? You are my soulmate. I can’t do without you. I couldn’t sleep last night. Where did you sleep? Why did you have to switch off your phone?”
“I knew you would come looking for me in your old house. I slept in a hotel,” and all this while, my facial expressions still indicated I was still angry.
“Please, I am very sorry. But do I want to tell everyone or when will I be free to hold you publicly as someone I love?” He put his hands on his waist and was wanting for me.
“I don’t know, but it’s not now at all. How do you expect me to look into Daisy’s eyes when she knows about what you just said? Sometimes, I feel we are not meant to be.”
“No, no, you shouldn’t say so. You and I know that we love each other. It is an undeniable fact that we can’t hide.”
“I am sorry, it will not happen again.” His voice dropped and when he moved closer to me this time, I didn’t move an inch and he embraced me. This was the embrace I had been looking for so long. I dragged the sweet fragrance of his perfume and closed my eyes. Then I felt his hand at the back of my neck as he unzipped my gown gradually. Pleasure meant for last night had been pushed to this morning. His touches were unbearable to resist, his kissing had such a connection with my brain and each time he sucked my lower lips, I just couldn’t wait to be wet in between my legs.
It just took us the very first day after the party to make love in Justin’s new house and on my new bed and I moaned each time he went into me and my hands held him so tight and I didn't want to let go of him. And he was in the middle of climaxing, the period I loved so much and he became faster and the veins in his body would still to review. This sensitive period was when my phone started ringing. I deliberately abandoned my phone and it rang and came to an end.
As Justin wanted to leave me on the bed, I became guilty of accusing him of what we both wanted and I said,
“Sweetheart, I am sorry for the way and manner I challenged you.”
He looked at me for a while and said,
“I understand!” He peeked at my cheek and left my room and I was so weak that I stood up.
Author’s pov
It was the next morning after the party, Juliana woke up from her bed and turned, but she didn’t see James again. Then she quickly sat on her bed and said to herself.
“How did it happen?”
She knew what had happened to her last night when James followed her to the house while Daisy left with her boyfriend and it was the first time James had slept in Juliana's room and something that hadn’t happened before happened. For the first time, James had sex with Juliana. But were a bit drunk and it all started from holding hands and laughing until James held her closer and they started kissing and out of nowhere, their clothes weren’t on their bodies again.
“Why did he leave? He would have stayed.” She took her phone and was about to dial James’s phone number, then she noticed that that was a ring in my finger.
Gabriel engaged me?”I I suspended the hand in the air and was amazed. It was quick and she didn’t suspect it would occur so quickly. She stood up and said,
“I know I love Gabriel, but…” she paused and then she shouted,
“Wow, how am I going to tell Stephanie this news? She might criticize me that it was very quick.” She thought and she dialed Stephanie’s number. The next thing she heard was the sound of crying from the other end of the phone.
“Stephanie, what is happening to you this morning?” She waited, but Stephanie kept crying.
“Please stop crying.”
“Why will I stop crying? My boyfriend came to my house this morning and said it to my face that he is no longer interested in our relationship. He put it this way, ‘in our so-called relationship.’ It was as if it never existed according to his words.”
“Please, don’t cry. I am coming to your place now. Please, please,” and she ended the call. She got up from her bed and went to take her bath as quickly as possible and came and stood in front of the mirror to dress herself before rushing out of the room.
Just after starting her car, she thought of not going to Stephanie’s place alone and she called James.
“I….” James wanted to say something, but Juliana quickly interrupted and said,
“Shh…. I know what you want to say. I’m coming to your place to carry you. We have somewhere to go.
