Becoming jealousy

Sadie's pov

One thing I never wanted to happen was for Daisy to find out about my affair with her dad. It's crazy—I can't leave him, and I don't want anyone else to know. Is this normal? Love is supposed to be something others can see and appreciate. When I was dating Leo, everyone in the neighborhood and school knew about it because we were seen together in public, and I thought everything was fine. But when I accidentally met Justin at the hotel, he became the nicest person I had ever encountered. And out of the blue, he had to be my best friend's dad. I can't leave him right now. My whole being would never forgive me. I've never loved someone so certain that they would leave me.

It felt like jumping into cold and hot water yesterday when Daisy told me she wouldn't be able to come and pick me up to go to her mum's place. The reason being that her mum saw Justin and me giggling. How could I stop giggling when Justin was being so fun?

Thanks to Daisy, who stood by me and tried to clear her mum's mind of what she was thinking. Daisy trusted me. Hmm... this makes it worse because she will eventually find out. My heart raced at the thought. I suppose the more Justin and I involve ourselves with each other, the more obvious it will become. That's when I'll have to work on myself.

If it weren't for Justin and I having had sex hours ago, yesterday would have been the only day that Justin and I were together without sleeping together. The shocking news from Daisy weakened my nerves, and when I became so sad about the news concerning Juliana, Justin was compelled to say,

"Sadie, why are you so upset? I'm not going to marry Juliana again."

He said it so plainly, as if he didn't need to think about it anymore. He must have made up his mind about this, and his facial expressions were so straightforward.

"Why?" I asked, and I could remember feeling a mix of emotions at that moment. What made him decide not to marry Juliana again?

"Why would you think I do something like that because of you?" I looked into his eyes, and then he placed his hands on my shoulders and said,

"I didn't make this decision because of you. It's something I had already decided before I even met you. You can ask your friend Daisy. We had misunderstandings between us before you came.”

"So, what's causing the misunderstanding?" I asked, and he smiled, not wanting to talk about it. He hugged me and swayed my body from side to side, and this was a secret I would love to know.

"Justin," I tried to free myself from his grip and added, "What are you hiding from me?"

"Nothing, my dear. Let's forget about it. Let's focus on the party that's coming up tomorrow. My housewarming party."

"Good, I'm glad you brought up the party.” The mentioning of the party made me forget what I was asking him and I continued, “I don't think I'll get too close to you at the party."

"Daisy told me that Juliana and she had planned to carefully observe your movements and the people you'll be close to. If you and I are always together, it will raise suspicion. I don't want that. Suspicion has already started. I don't want anything to make it worse. Please..."

At that moment, Justin's phone rang, and he walked out of my room to answer the call. Why did he leave my room? Then I remembered that I had raised my voice. I fell onto my bed, and this time I had a feeling. My mind kept thinking about the future of both Justin and me, and my heart filled with fear.

A few minutes later, Justin came back, and it was almost 8 PM. He said, "I want you to get some sleep. Tomorrow is another busy day at the party."

When he said those words, I remained silent, and as he was about to leave the room, I said, "I don't think I'll be going with you in your car. I'll call Daisy to come and pick me up."

"Do you think that's a good idea?" he asked.

"Yes, it's a better idea. I don't want people to notice us in public."

"Have you called Daisy and asked her? Don't you think she'll come with her mum?" Justin said, and I took my phone and called Daisy.

"Hi Daisy, I hope you haven't gone to sleep..."

"No, how are you doing? I know you must be lonely there, but I'm sorry. We'll see each other at the party."

"I called because I was wondering how I'll get to the new house. Will you come and pick me up?"

"What about my dad? Can't you come with him?" she asked.

"I don't understand your dad. I think he has other plans, and I don't think I fit into them."

"Did he say something like that? Wait a minute, did any lady come to the house looking for him?"

"Hmm... I can't say. Lately, my days have been busy, and I've been going out often."

"Well, unfortunately, I'll be going with my mum, and we've already made the arrangements. I'm even convincing her to come to the party. She's not really keen on it. I'll be the one driving her back and forth. Let my dad know who will pick you up, or I can call the party organizers to arrange transportation for you.”

"Great! Daisy, please call the organizers to arrange transportation for me. I prefer that plan."

"Okay, Sadie. I'll make the arrangements tomorrow morning, and don't worry, a car service will come to pick you up. Please don't mention this to my dad. We're eagerly waiting to see the lady he'll bring to the party tomorrow."

"Alright, Daisy. I hope to see you tomorrow, and please don't forget to call the car service." The call ended, but something remarkable happened when talking to Daisy. When she mentioned a lady accompanying Justin to the party, it stirred a sense of jealousy in my heart, as if it might actually happen.

Wasn't I the one who loved Justin more than he loved me? This question lingered in my heart until I felt overwhelmed.

The next day, I woke up feeling oddly happy. Perhaps it was because Justin had come to my room early in the morning, and we had sex before leaving. Another reason could be that I wouldn't have to cook much that morning since I had already prepared a lot of food stored in the fridge.

It was an eventful day, and we had the whole day to ourselves. Around 10 am, Daisy called me and informed me that the car service to pick me up from the house was ready, scheduled for 3:30 pm. All I had to do was get ready before the car arrived. Justin and I had discussed all these plans, and everything was set to go.

Around 2 pm, I started getting ready, just as Justin and I had planned. He would leave the house first, which he did at 3 pm. By that time, I had already taken a bath. I did my makeup and put on a sexy white gown with a red symbol of love between my breasts.

I made sure I was fully prepared before receiving the call from the driver. At exactly 3:30 pm, my phone rang.

"Good afternoon, ma. Am I speaking to Miss Sadie?" a calm and unfamiliar voice asked.

"Yes!"

"I am outside your house to take you to the event."

"Okay, give me a few minutes."

"Alright, ma," he replied before ending the call. I checked myself in the mirror once again, satisfied with how I looked, before grabbing my small handbag and heading to the front door. I stepped outside and to my joyful surprise, there were two cars waiting for me. They were sleek black cars. The car in front had its door opened, and a young man stepped out, gesturing for me to enter the car behind. He opened the door for me, and I smiled as I got into the back seat. To my astonishment, Eric was already seated there, waiting for me. It was a shock, and I tried to open the car door, but it was already locked.

"Eric, what are you doing here?" I raised my voice, and my heart raced instantly. It was a moment of deciding whether to beg him to let me go or to cooperate. What was he going to do? Was this Daisy's plan?
