I told my brother

Author's pov

“He didn't even tell me that he was going to Larisa's house? How am I going to feel when we get there? This is the most bizarre moment of my life. I was so carried away by my complicated situation between Larisa and I.”
So many thoughts were going through the minds of Dylan as he drove the car towards Larisa's house. He was going on the right way and he suddenly asked himself,
“What if Taylor asked me how I knew Larisa's house?” Then he deliberately entered a wrong path.
“No, not this way…” Taylor said at once and pointed at the right road and it was at this time Taylor remembered that he had not told Dylan about the pregnancy of Larisa.
“Dylan, I just remembered what I said I will tell you face to face,” and he was so excited, but Dylan looked very dull.
“My girlfriend, Larisa, is pregnant with my baby?”
Dylan knew his brother so well that if he didn't seem happy with what he told him, he would immediately say on another occasion that Dylan was jealous of him and Dylan widened his eyes with a pretended excitement.
“Wow, that is good news. It calls for a little celebration…”
“That's what I am planning to do by tomorrow.”
“Hmm.. I guess I might be gone by then.”
“Okay,” and there was silence again and Taylor asked.
“What did you actually come home to do? You hardly come home. I was so surprised when dad told me you were around.”
“Yeah! I came for some business… hmm thinking of establishing my new business here. I came to see some business partners.”
“That's good,” but he didn't smile again and the conversation naturally died down again.
“It's better for the car to be silent,” Dylan thought and some minutes later after driving up to thirty minutes, they eventually stopped in front of Larisa's house.
Dylan's heart started pounding as he came out of the car and he looked at the house he left yesterday without Larisa accepting his words. Gradually, Dylan followed him as he gently walked with one clutch.
A few minutes later, Taylor knocked on the door and Larisa's mom was the one who came to open the door.
“Wow…welcome Taylor and your twin brother,” she said with a surprise and after opening the door, she went inside before they could sit down to call Larisa. Taylor wasn't surprised when she called Dylan his twin because they both looked very much alike.
“Larisa,” her mom knocked on Larisa's door and when she found out that the door was not locked, she opened it and went straight to meet Larisa who had woken up but was still lying on the bed.
“Larisa,” she called again. “Taylor and his brother are waiting for you in the sitting room.”
The shocking news made her suddenly sit down on her bed.
“Why would they come to my house this early in the morning?”
“Larisa, it's not early morning. Look at the time, it's almost 8am. You need to go and see them.”
“Mom, I didn't invite them.”
“What are you saying Larisa? It will be disrespectful not to come out at all even if you did not want to follow Taylor home.”
She looked at her mom with an angry gaze before she reluctantly stood up and they went to the sitting room. When they got there, Larisa sat down and she squeezed her face.
“My dear Larisa. How was your night and how is my baby doing?” Taylor asked with a smile, but Larisa refused to say a reply and Dylan was looking at her and was very comfortable as he thought his brother was flirting with someone he loved.
Larisa's mom became impatient with the attitude of his daughter and she said,
“Larisa, please, reply to Taylor. I was so distressed that he first sent his brother…”
“Please, mom, wait,” Larisa quickly interrupted her mom so that she shouldn't complicate things. And she saw the facial expressions of Dylan. In order not to make her mom repeat what she just said, she stood up and said,
“Taylor, can we talk outside the house?”
“Yes,” he shrugged and he stood up and there was great sadness on Dylan's face.
“Why have you come to me this morning without even informing me?” Larisa said when they went outside.
“I called you twice yesterday, but you refused to pick up my call.”
“Is that why you came uninvited?” Larisa asked.
“Stop saying I am uninvited. I came here because of my baby. That's the main reason I am here. I want my baby and you can go wherever you want to go.”
“How do you expect me to do that? Do you think I will leave my baby with you? That will never happen.” She raised her voice and Dylan and Larisa's mum could hear their conversation. Then Dylan stood up at once when he couldn't bear the angry voice of Larisa and went out to meet them.
“Taylor, please wait,” he turned to Larisa and asked, “how do you want it to be?”
“Who invited you to be our judge?” She said angrily and it was as if Dylan should disappear because of the humiliation. He was so embarrassed that it took a few seconds before he could say,
“I…I'm sorry I came in without you inviting me.”
“Better. What's your business with what we are saying? Haven't you done your worst?”
“Why are you blaming my brother and making him so angry? He was the one who took me here.”
“Next time, he shouldn't bring you here.”
“Why transfer your aggression to him? He didn't do anything to you.”
As they were still talking and they thought that Dylan has gone into the car, he came back without the both of them realizing it and he said,
“Larisa, can I talk to you for a few minutes?”
“No,” Larisa replied before she even turned and faced him. Taylor turned and looked at his brother and he was convinced that Dylan wanted to help him out.
“Please, listen to what my brother wants to tell you.” Taylor deliberately walked away and Dylan waited until Taylor had entered the car.
“Larisa, why are you doing this to me?” He lowered his voice.
“You did it to yourself. What do you need from me? How many times will I tell you to stop coming to me? For what you have done, I am going back to your brother. You broke my heart.” She was about to turn and walk away, but Dylan held her hand and gently pulled her back. Taylor could see that from a distance and thought Dylan was fighting on his behalf.
“I am going back today and I want to tell you this, I never told my brother.”
Larisa pulled his hand away and she walked into her house.
“How did it go?” This was the first thing her mom asked.
“It will never go well as long as Taylor is involved.”
“If you cannot listen to Taylor, why can't you listen to his brother? Their coming together for you showed how united they are in getting you back into their family.”
Out of nowhere, Larisa burst out laughing and her mum was surprised.
“What's amusing you? Was I wrong? Where are they?”
“Hmm… probably gone.”
“Please, for my sake and the sake of Taylor's twin brother, I want you to go back to Taylor. I know he will never treat you badly now that you are pregnant.” Then there was a knock on the door and Dylan came inside. He faced Larisa's mum and said,
“Please my brother wants to see you in the car. He has started feeling pains in his leg and that is why he couldn't come down to meet you inside.”
“Okay,” she said with empathy and went out leaving Dylan and Larisa. Dylan waited and when her mom had left, he came closer to Larisa.
“You better stop there..” Larisa demonstrated with her hands.
“Are you going back to my brother's house?”
“What is your business? When you were telling him that I was pregnant, you didn't think that something like this could happen?”
“Larisa, listen to me. I just lied so that your mum would go out and meet Taylor. I am telling you the truth. I didn't do it.”
“I am also telling you the truth that I am going to Taylor's house.” She turned and went inside angrily. When she got to her room, she buried her face on her bed while her knees were on the floor and she wept bitterly.
“Why did Dylan do this to me? He shouldn't be the one who must have done this to me. Now, I will be going back to Taylor's house. Something I hate with every part of me.”
Then her thoughts were cut short by the opening of the door and it was her mom who entered her room. When she sensed that she was crying, she walked up to her and sat on the bed while she caressed her hair with her both hands.
About three minutes later, Larisa raised her face and her eyes were bloodshot.
“Why are you crying as if you are going to be tortured in Taylor's house? Remember, you are pregnant and don't allow your negative emotions to have an effect on this baby. Taylor might sue you for practically terminating the pregnancy.”
“Is that what he told you when you met him?”
“No.”
“I have an idea. Should I follow you to Taylor's place and stay with you for a few days? Do you think that will help you?”
It was as if her mom's statement brought relief and Larisa turned and looked at her mum.
“Are you serious?”
“Yes,” she nodded and she immediately embraced her mum and still burst out crying.
“Why are you still crying?” Her mum asked.
“My mum will never understand my pain. It's all connected to Dylan.” She thought as she held her mom very tight. “Am I crying because I am going back to Taylor or because Dylan and I weren't together again?” She asked herself and tears were pouring out of her eyes like a flowing stream.
It was in the evening of that same day and Larisa and her mom came out of their house and we're on their way to Taylor's house. When her mom saw that her daughter's eyes were still red, she said,
“Please stop crying. It has begun to affect me.”
Larisa cleaned her tears and they entered a taxi and we're going to Taylor's house. The day was almost dark when they got to Taylor's house and it has been a long appeal from Larisa's mom to be able to convince her daughter before she agreed to come to Taylor's house.
That very day, it was Larisa's mom that prepared the dinner, but Larisa refused to eat at first. But she said she would love to eat all alone and asked at the dinner table. When her mom and Taylor finished eating, her mom went to call her and she went to the dining table and surprisingly Taylor's phone was on the table. She became very curious to read Taylor's text messages and wanted to find a reason to leave Taylor's house. Then the three messages she read shocked her.
“My goodness!” She opened her eyes.
