Chapter 114:

Pythia POV:

The fight around us continued only because they didn't know where any of our people were now that they were hidden. It wouldn't be long before everyone else could end their own fights, "Well this I was not expecting." Bartholomew said. His beast stood tall behind him and his eyes were on me. Delilah growled, gaining his attention. She didn't like that he was looking at me, "I knew Delilah wouldn't let you do this alone but I had no idea you separated from her." Bartholomew said. "I prefer to fight in human form but you have another reason for separating from yours." I replied, stepping out from under Delilah. "How do you know that? Maybe I prefer to fight in human form." Bartholomew said. "Well since you won't live after this I guess I can tell you my secret." I replied. We needed to somehow separate ourselves in order to have a fair fight. "He separated so they could get you easier, Bartholomew wasn't confident he could control his rage mixed with his beasts rage." Jasper quickly said.

Bartholomew tilted his head to the side, "Well I know you are Lucindas great granddaughter, that in itself is powerful. I have been watching longer than you think." Bartholomew said. "You may know Lucinda but you don't know me, what I am or what I have been through. If you have watched like the stalker you are then you should know am I right?" I asked. "I know that you are of mixed races but were wolfless but you didn't need a wolf when you have other powers." Bartholomew replied. "Yet, you still don't know how I did everything here today. You see, I am not the only powerful being here. I know you set your eyes on the twins and you are curious about them. You set your eyes on my mate and you had hoped  to capture them, torture them to the point that I would willingly go with you to save them." I said. Shock came across his face and I smiled.

"I am surrounded by powerful men and women and your lack of research is starting to show. None of them will be stepping in no matter what happens to me, but even if you do kill me because this is a fight to the death they will ultimately end you." I added. "You think they could kill me?" Bartholomew yelled. HIs temper was starting to come out as I knew it would. "I know they could kill you. You asked me earlier who the girl was that looked like Athea. There is a reason for that if you would just think, I mean unless you don't actually have a brain in your head." I replied. "That's impossible. She can't be." Bartholomew said as it finally clicked in his head. "It is very possible, and she is. She was gifted with a powerful wolf who also happens to be Delilah's sister, not to mention the vampire queen and the chosen six with their protectors. You will not live to see another day." I snapped. Bartholomews face hardened at my words as they finally sunk into his head.

He knew he wasn't leaving alive and he didn't expect so many queens to be so powerful. His beast growled behind him and I narrowed my eyes at them. "I've got to grab him and get him away from his beast so that they can't merge." I said to Delilah through the link. "Teleport. Grab him and go." Delilah said back. Alright it's time to set all of this in motion, I could see him struggling with his thoughts, he wasn't sure what to believe and even though he knew I wasn't lying he couldn't find it in himself to actually believe it. "Boys, one of you talk to me, the other talk to Delilah. We want to know what they think and what they want to do before they do it." I said quickly. "Whatever you are going to do you need to do it quickly, he wants to merge with his beast.'' Jasper replied quickly. I'll make sure that it doesn't happen. In the blink of an eye I was in front of him, I kneed him in his balls before grabbing on to him and taking him across the field throwing him into a tree. I heard Delilah clash with the beast and all I knew was that I needed to end him so I could go and help her.

Bartholomew stood to his feet glaring at me, "Can't merge if you aren't close to him." I said before running at him. He met me halfway landing a solid punch to the side of my jaw jerking my body to the side. I swung my leg around kicking him in the chest. I planted my feet on the ground and held my hands out to the side lacing them with fire. "Can't even fight fair can you? You have to rely on your elements." Bartholomew spat. "I need to kill you to go aid Delilah but going off the sounds I'd say she is doing just fine are her own." I replied before launching a large fire ball directly at his body. He dove to the side but that didn't slow me down. I kept throwing everything I had at him, he got to his feet and started running back towards his beast when I pulled up roots to cut him off. I chased after him and just when I was closing in he flipped around and grabbed me by the throat and lifted me off the ground.

My airway was immediately cut off but I didn't panic, instead I pulled a root from the ground piercing his arm. He screamed out in pain dropping me to the ground. I looked up to see he pulled his arm from the root and a hole was now in place. Rage took over his body and he jumped on top of me raining down punches. "Pythia, move to the right. Swing your body forward." Jasper rang out in my head. I could feel the side of my face swelling and my left eye was trying to close, but I did as Jasper said, spinning us so that I was on top of him. I struck him with the same force as he did me, only I used elements to enhance them. He was weak without his beast and stood no chance with me and he knew it.

He swung his right hand hitting me on the side of my head sending me back to the ground, he grabbed me by my hair jerking my body up before driving me face straight into his knee. I could feel the gash that was now on the side of my cheek and the blood slid down my face. He pulled me back to my feet and I swung my knee up into his gut. He stumbled backwards and I didn't give him time to recover before I was in front of him. I grabbed him by the neck and sent us across the territories before I threw him into a house. I ran over and grabbed him again before I went up to the tree line and slammed him into a tree. I needed to wear his body out like he did mine. When I grabbed him again I sent us on top of a house and threw him off. He landed on his back on the hard ground and groaned. I teleported on top of him while I pulled two knives from my side stabbing them into his sides piercing his lungs.

He stopped moving and I looked up to see Delilah and his beast were still going at it, she seemed to be doing okay for now. "Kill him! Get to Delilah!" Jasper yelled out. I looked down to see Bartholomew had a smug look on his face. I leaned closer to him and twisted the knives to get the look off of his face, "My face will be the last face you ever see." I snarled before pulling a root up, piercing him through the throat. I stood to my feet and watched his body burn under mine. I didn't know what he had planned but his soul wouldn't be able to come back from any of this. Warmth shot through me and I could feel my face start to heal, I could open my left eye again and I could fully see what was happening between Delilah and his beast. I kicked my legs into motion and started running towards them, Delilah was like a fighting machine, she would quickly move just as he snapped at her.

He was getting frustrated that he couldn't get the upper hand on her. They clashed in the middle snarling and snapping at each other. They met each hit for hit, I could see a chunk missing from his upper back and I knew it was because Delilah bit down on him. He was getting more sloppy and more aggressive by the second, he probably felt Bartholomew die and that is sending him into a rage. His movements were faster and Delilah started struggling to get out of his way. She went to dodge him but didn't move fast enough and he took a chunk out of her back leg. She growled furiously as he launched himself at her. They both rolled on the ground and I pumped my legs faster, I was halfway there. I watched Delilah kicked furiously and snarled but I've learned when someone becomes crazed their strength knows no limits.

He bit her in the side and she still didn't whimper from the pain, fear shot through me when I realized where he would be biting next and it was like it happened in slow motion, he pulled his head back and opened his mouth, I could see her blood dripping from his lips. He went to latch on to her throat and after that I don't know what triggered me but something snapped as I screamed out her name. I raised my hands and felt all the elements come together as one, they were all mixed with different scents and I could see them all float around them. It was as if they were released with my scream but they all shot out at once hitting him with such force it threw against the far trees. Anger and vengeance filled me. I know the promise that I made to Delilah but I was not about to make that promise a reality. I teleported to him and he snarled at me, when he got to his feet he charged at me and as soon as he got within my reach I slung my hand out grabbing him by his throat slamming him to the ground. "How dare you hurt her!" I roared and reined down punches with such forces the ground beneath us was caving in like a crater had crashed around us.

I could see each of the elements move with my own fists enhancing the force behind them. I grabbed him by the neck and threw him back into the field. He crashed to the ground throwing dirt everywhere. Delilah was back on her feet and I stood beside her. We were both bloodied and beaten but together we would make sure that we ended this today. I placed my hand on her and telelported us where he crashed at. Weakly he stood to his feet and snarled at us. I yanked up roots around him, piercing him in each of his legs sending him back to the ground while Delilah launched herself at him, she sank her teeth around his lower neck before she pulled back successfully ripping his throat out. When she stepped back I lit his body on fire burning everything that remained. I looked around to everyone who was slowly gathering around us when I black dots started blurring my vision. I looked at Tye before everything went black.

**Tye POV:**

I hated this, Rex was furious and running around in my head, we were useless at this moment. I watched Pythia and Bartholomew go back and forth with each other and when he got on top of her he started punching her with so much force I started fighting to get to her. I didn't make it very far because a cage shot up around me. "Alley! Alley let me go!" I roared. "Stop it! You can not get involved and you know it. She will be fine, I will send spirit to her." Alley snapped. She was right and I knew it. I wanted to protect her and I couldn't. When Pythia stood to her feet she grabbed him and started teleporting like it was a fun game. Wherever they landed she threw him into something until they landed on top of a large house and she shoved him off of it. She got on top of him and pulled her knives and stuck them in his sides. Relief filled me, what seemed like a lifetime of a fight was now coming to an end.

She leaned down and said something to him before a root shot up through his throat. When she stood back to her feet and faced where we were I saw all of her cuts and bruises. Her face was swollen and she was covered in blood. I know Alley sent spirit to her but she could only do so much and I knew that. Pythia started running towards Delilah and now my focus was on her. Delilah is incredibly skilled but the moment Bartholomew was killed it sent his beast into a frenzy. Delilah never once whined from the pain if anything she snarled at him to show she wasn't afraid of him. When they went to the ground everything went chaotic, he went for her throat and I heard Pythia scream. Something drastic changed within her that flowed around her. I could literally see all of the elements combine outside of her like a protective shield, her eyes swarmed with different colors. When she raised her arms it was like beams shot out of her straight at the beast sending him backwards.

It looked like Pythia was literally on fire but she wasn't, the way it surrounded her body amazed me. She teleported close to him and he snarled at her before he charged at her but then my beauty did something no one thought was possible. She extended her arm catching him by the throat before slamming him literally into the ground, "How dare you hurt her!" Pythia roared but it didn't sound like her. It was like a goddess had been born the moment she unlocked her true power. The impact from her punches forced them into the ground further until she grabbed on to him and threw him across the field. Pythia didn't lose her glow as she stood next to Delilah, they looked like the ultimate fighting duo. They stood tall and proud even though Delilah was missing chunks and Pythia was bruised and bloodied. Pythia teleported them outside of where he was thrown. I could hear him snarl at them before roots shot up.

Delilah jumped down and I didn't need to see to know what she had just done. A fire quickly shot up and I knew Pythia was burning the remains so that his soul couldn't be restored. Alley finally dropped the cage and I started making my way to her. The look in her eyes was worrying me until I saw her start to sway, I kicked my legs into overdrive just as her eyes rolled back and she started falling to the ground. Delilah pulled her legs up catching her and slowly lowered her to the ground just as I got there. "Pythia? Hey my beauty, open your eyes. Please open your eyes for me." I whispered. I could feel the tears running down my cheeks. She was busted up so badly and there was blood everywhere that I didn't know how bad everything was. "Julie is waiting, we need to get her to the hospital." Alley said quickly before she grabbed me and teleported us inside of the hospital. "Jasper, Jenson bring Delilah here as well. They are waiting to look over her injuries." Alley said through the link. I watched as they took Pythia back and now there was nothing to do but wait.
