Chapter 45:
Pythia POV:
Again, no one said a word, instead they nodded. "Good, now I am releasing Pythia to go home, she needs her rest. Anything further that you need to speak to her about you must ask Alley herself and come to them. None of these ladies will be traveling until after they give birth. I bid you all a goodbye." Athea said before she disappeared. "We have much to discuss especially after discovering you are half white witch. Judging by the shock on your face I am assuming you didn't know?" Kathrine asked. "No, I didn't. I didn't think it was even possible." I whispered. "Come, let's get you home." Davina said, placing her hand gently under my elbow. None of the elders said a word as we left. I didn't think Athea would tell the elders of my true history, will my dad and aunt be exposed? Will they be safe? "We will go back to our territories. We will see you soon." Alley said with a smile before they all teleported back home. I ran my hands over my belly to feel Apollo move around. "Your son will be very special." Davina said. "He is already special." I replied smiling. "I will be visiting him soon enough, it seems Athea has gifted him with spirit.'' Davina stated.
I stared at her in shock. Will Apollo have spirit? So I didn't bend the element like I thought I did. It was him. "It was him.." I whispered. "What was him?" Tye asked, standing next to me. "Apollo.. yesterday my nerves were all over the place and I thought that Alley had used spirit on me and she didn't.. He did." I whispered looking down at my belly. "How is that possible? I thought you had to bestow a gift in order for it to work?" Tye asked. "As I told her, Athea has already gifted him, I will make it official when he is old enough." Davina replied. I am stunned. Absolutely stunned. He isn't even born yet and uses his gift? How is any of this possible? He is already three different races and now he will be a rare person with the spirit element. Holy goddess. This is too much, he isn't even born yet! This is a lot for a child to take one. He will have so much to learn, thank goddess we live long lives. I started feeling a sharp pain in my lower abdomen and I didn't do a good job at hiding it. I grabbed onto Tyes arm and gripped down like it would take the pain away. "Pythia what's wrong?" Tye asked.
I shook my head, "I don't know. I need to get to Julie." I grunted as another pain hit me. "Phil, go back and gather everyones things and bring it to their home. I am taking them home." Davina said, grabbing all three of us before sending us right into Julies office. "Shit! Pythia? What is happening?" Julie shrieked. "She is having a pain, check her please." Tye pleaded. "Okay, yeah get her up on the table." Julie said, grabbing the monitor. "I will take my leave but rest assured I will be watching over you." Davina said before she disappeared. I watched as Julie squirted the same jell on my belly and quickly used the scope to get Apollo up on the screen. If her face got any closer I would swear she was trying to morph her face with it. "I don't see anything wrong with him, everything is still intact." Julie said, sitting back. "Have you been stressed or anything?" Julie asked. "Actually I have. It's been a rough few days." I replied. Julie straightened her back and narrowed her eyes and for a split second I think I felt my soul leave my entire body. "You are on bed rest for the rest of the week. Minimum movement and if I find out that you are over doing anything an ass chewing from me will be the least of your problems understand?" Julie said sternly.
Crap she really knows how to make me feel like a child that got in trouble. "Yes, I promise." I replied. "And you." Julie said looking right at Tye, his eyes went wide and I knew he was about to get it. "You are to have someone stay with her for when you can't be with her. She may move around the house or you can carry her, she can even sit outside for a little while honestly I don't care but, she is not to lift anything over five pounds. Got it?" Julie said. "Yes ma'am, I will take care of everything." Tye replied. If Julie is this intimidating I can't imagine what Stephen went through and I plan on never finding out that side of her. "Shift and get her home." Julie said as she stood up. "I will be coming by and checking your vitals, make sure you are eating three times a day and staying hydrated." Julie said before she walked out of the door. I looked at Tye and we both had the same look. "Let's go home before she comes back and rips our asses apart anymore than she just did." Tye said making me laugh. I went to stand up but Tye caught me first. "Are you crazy! I am carrying you." Tye whispered making me laugh even harder. As he carried me out we passed Julie who looked at us approvingly, I waved at her before we got out of the front door and Tye headed straight for Alley and Stephens house.
