Chapter 29:

Pythia POV:

When my eyes opened I could smell the beach, the saltiness from it filled my nostrils and a smile came across my face. I looked at the time to see we had only been on the road a few hours. "We are almost there." Tye whispered. I sat up and took a look around at the view. It was closed off from the woods but I could see the water behind the trees, the sand was nearly white, it was like this part was tucked away from human eyes. We turned down a dirt road that went in between the large trees. As soon as it cleared a huge two story house came into view, it was a beautiful wooden cabin, the closer we got the more I could see it. It had large bay windows at the front but the sides were wrapped in wood. It had a larger porch that had a table and lounge chairs around it, this was stunning. We pulled up to the house and I noticed the gravel that surrounded the place. "This is so beautiful." I whispered. "And yet not as beautiful as you." Tye said, kissing the back of my hand. I got out of the truck and took a deep breath, it had the smell of the forest with a hint of salt from the ocean, "Come on I'll show you around." Tye said, reaching for my hand. I was memorized by everything I was seeing, we walked in and the smell of oak hit my senses first, everything was made out of wood aside from the stove and stuff, it had a large wooden staircase that led upstairs.
There were brown leather couches and a large flat screen TV in the living room, it has a black rug that was under them, the dining room had a large oak table that looked to seat at least twelve people easily. I followed him to a large room that had a king size bed placed in the middle, a nightstand on each side of the bed with another large TV pinned up to the wall. There was a large glass door on the side that opened to a walkway that I could see lead to the beach, on the other side of the room there was another door that lead in to a bathroom that had a tub the size of a hot tub and a large standing shower, two sinks that were separated a little with a mirror in front of them. I heard Tye laugh behind me. "So I am going to say you like it?" He asked. "Are you crazy? This is absolutely perfect! It is beautiful." I replied excitedly. "I will go get the bags out of the truck, look around all you want." Tye said before heading back to the truck. I wandered around the house taking in more of the scenery. The trees surrounded each side which felt comfortable, like home. I walked upstairs to find two more rooms, not as big as the one downstairs but were decorated perfectly. Maybe one day Tye and I could retire at a place like this.
I looked out front and didn't see Tye there so I decided to go look for him. Did he come in and I did not hear him? I walked back to the room to find a royal blue sundress laid out on the bed with a note on it. I quickly grabbed it to see what it said, "Put this on and meet me on the back porch." A huge smile came across my face, I wondered what he had in mind. I snatched the dress and ran to the bathroom to change. I looked in the mirror to see it fit me perfectly, the straps tied behind my neck and it has a breezy flow to it. I didn't see any shoes so I wondered if I needed any. I walked out of the bathroom to see Tye standing with his back turned toward me, he had on a nice royal blue shirt with a pair of loose fitting white shorts with no shoes. I guess that answered, my heart was pounding so hard I could feel the blood rushing to my head. Why am I feeling so nervous? I opened the door and looked to see Tye had turned and was now facing me, his blue eyes looked into mine and I think for a moment I quit breathing. "You look beautiful." He whispered as he kissed my forehead.
He didn't say anything else and he laced his hand with mine and gently pulled me towards the water, my feet hit the sand and I could have melted right then, I love this feeling. We walked a little further and I could hear the waves crashing around, my eyes locked on a blanket that was laid out, it had little baskets at each corner so that it didn't blow away. He planned a beach picnic? Oh goddess this is making my emotions go crazy. We sat down and I crossed my legs placing my hands over my growing belly. "What is all of this?" I asked looking around to see roses were scattered around. "You need to relax my beauty, it has been a tough few days and I am going to take care of you tonight." Tye said, grabbing one of the baskets, when he opened it he pulled out wrapped sandwiches and pickles and I felt the rumble in my belly. Tye chuckled before handing me the food which I quickly unwrapped and took a bite. "Oh goddess this is so good." I mumbled. "So what else do you have planned?" I asked in between bites. "Maybe swim in the ocean a little later if you feel up to it, this is for you so whatever you want to do." Tye replied, smiling his huge smile that told me he was proud of himself for all of this.
"I actually think I would like that, it has been ages since I swam." I replied looking out towards the water, from what I could see it was blue. How did I not know this was ever here? "Then that is what we will do then, and then after I am giving you a massage." Tye said happily. "You want to give me a massage?" I asked, smiling. "Only the best for my beauty." He replied. As we finished eating I knew this was a night that I was not going to forget for the rest of my life.
