Chapter 100:
Pythia POV:
We stood around the kitchen deciding on how we wanted to tell the others. This was a lot of new information and the change that is going to happen will be shocking. "I think you should just come out and say it. There is no easy way to say any of this." Ambrosia said, shrugging her shoulders. "She has a point, start off with the most shocking thing first just to get it out of the way." Tye said. "Alright, I can do that. I think the most shocking thing is the fact that Delilah and I will be separated." I replied. "That and the fact that you can somehow bend all the elements in a way literally no one else can." Beth said. "Well I still don't know how to do that and I don't have much time to figure that out." I replied with a huff. "We will figure it out. How did you do it last time?" Ambrosia asked. "I'm not even fully sure, Delilah yelled at me and I just listened, but without her being in my head like this I need to figure out how to do it without her yelling at me." I replied.
Maybe I can figure it out, Lucinda said I had to unlock it within myself, I just needed to forget what I read in that book. It has been the one thing that has been holding me back because I have been so worried and scared of what the consequences would be that I learned how to refrain from using too much and now I have to unravel it all in a short amount of time. Needless to say the faith I have in myself in doing that is not very good but I can't lose all my faith. "How are the two upstairs? Are they going to be joining us for dinner?" Ambrosia asked. "I'm about to go and check on them, when we came in they were sleeping." I replied. "Alright Tye, you can go round everyone up, the others are just about done with everything and I will set the table so it is all ready to go." Beth said, looking around at us.
I started laughing and shook my head. "You have really come out of your shell, you know that?" I asked. "I like this side of you, we love seeing our girls come out strong." Ambrosia said smiling. "Alright let's finish everything and have a relaxing dinner." I said, clapping my hands together. "Oh Beth, what would you think if I had the workers repaint the house emerald green?" I asked. Beth didn't even hesitate to answer, "I actually love that idea, very fitting since we are the emerald moon pack." Beth said with a smile. "Perfect, I'll call them right away and have them change it." I smiled back and turned to walk up the stairs while digging for my phone. When I found it I quickly dialed Grangers number. "Hi, Granger, it's Pythia." I said. "Yes, hi Pythia, how can I help you?" Granger asked. "I want to change the paint of the house to emerald green please." I said. "You got it, I'll have someone go and get what we need." Granger replied quickly. "Perfect thank you." I said before hanging up. He seemed busy and I didn't want to take up too much of his time.
I knew we were putting a lot of pressure on them to have it done quickly and I didn't want to add anymore stress to it. When I got to the end of the hallway I knocked softly on the door. I heard shuffling in the room before the door finally cracked open. "Hi, Angie, how are you?" I asked with a soft smile, I didn't want her to feel like I was going to be bringing bad news. "I'm okay, please come in." Angie replied, opening the door wider. The room looked absolutely spotless, the bed had been made and I could smell lemon furniture polish. "You aren't over doing anything are you? Last I checked in on you, both of you were sleeping." I said as I continued to look around. I heard movements in the bathroom and I knew it was Brent. "No, I promise I'm not over doing it. How are you? We heard about what happened." Angie said. "I'm fine, small scratches and bruises. I came up here to invite the two of you to dinner with all of us tonight." I offered.
I wasn't really sure where they stood with being comfortable with us just yet. "Is it okay? We don't have to" Brent said walking out of the bathroom. Both of their auras were still white as snow and it glowed around them. Hers had a blue hint to it though and I tilted my head to the side. "Is there something wrong?" Angie asked as her muscles tightened. "Of course, don't be alarmed. Your aura is changing." I said studying her. "Delilah? Does that mean what I think it means?" I asked quickly. "Yes, she is having a boy and his aura is starting to push out." Delilah replied. "Do you both remember what I said about Delilahs gift?" I asked. "You said she can see a persons true intent, who they really are by their auras." Brent replied. "Correct, and the reason one of my eyes is blue and not green is because she shares that gift with me so that I may see it as well." I replied. "So what do you see?" Brent asked. "Both of your auras are white as snow, meaning your souls are pure, neither of you have any ill intentions and you both do the right thing no matter how hard it may seem." I replied.
I looked a little harder at Angie and the blue started to mix in with her white making it look like little crystals. I smiled while watching it. "I know what you two are having." I said watching the two colors intertwine with each other. "Wait, really? Is that what you are looking at?" Angie asked. "Yes, it is. This is the first time I have seen it happen and it is truly fascinating. I could tell you both now if you would like." I replied before I had an idea that might make this announcement a little more special for them. They both looked at each other and started to smile. "Yes, please." Angie said. This was the first time I had seen her smile so big and it made her radiate more. "I tell you what, I will have something made up and at dinner we can reveal it for the both of you. Make this moment a little more special for you two. You both deserve this moment." I said. "Oh, no you don't have to do all of that, we aren't anyone special." Angie quickly said, her cheeks started to turn a bright pink. "One thing you will learn about us is that everyone is special to us, we want to offer the two of you a happy life here with us where you will be safe and know you are safe. Neither of you will feel as if you are less than anyone. This is your first child and this moment needs to be special. Don't ever say neither of you aren't special because both of you are." I said.
It was the truth, we prided ourselves in treating everyone with respect and as if they were somehow apart of our family. "We can't really refuse a queen, but really you don't have to." Brent replied. "My name is Pythia, and no we don't have to but I want to. You guys have been through literal hell and came over here to escape. This is your new lives so enjoy it. Now relax, venture around the house if you'd like and then I will come find you both when dinner is ready. Sound good?" I asked, looking between them. They both nodded their heads. "Do me a favor and work on keeping y'alls head up. No need to feel intimidated or anything, we are just normal people like you." I said watching them raise their heads. I smiled before I turned around and walked out of the door closing it behind me. I walked downstairs where I found Beth and the other omegas. "Hello ladies, I need a favor. Or help really." I said, gaining all their attention. "Of course, what's up?" Beth asked. "I want to do something special for Angie and Brent, turns out I figured out they are having a son and I want to do like a cake reveal or something." I said through the link to avoid them from hearing our conversation.
I watched the excitement flash across everyone's face, "We can make a cake and have it ready to go. What are they having?" Beth asked. "A boy, I can go and pick one up or maybe I could make one?" I replied, shrugging my shoulders, making them giggle. "No, leave that to us. You go get balloons or something." Beth giggled. I scrunch my face up. "Yeah you are right, I suck at cooking let alone baking." I replied. Alright so I needed to get balloons or maybe a little baby basket. "Okay listen up, I need all of you to buy baby baskets for Angie and Brent. They are having a boy. We are going to do a reveal tonight at dinner and they will need stuff. Don't disappoint me." I said through the link to everyone else before I grabbed my bag and walked out of the door. "Let's all meet up at Alleys first to pick up the kids and then we can pick up our gift baskets and then we can head straight over. " Tye said through the link.
I headed straight for Alleys house and my mind started running around. Here soon we will have to do the same thing for Beth and I hope she has ideas on what she wants. I got closer and saw the kids playing in the front yard mainly using Ember as their home made jungle gym. "You okay Ember?" I asked, smiling as I watched her. She seemed completely unbothered. "I consider it like a free back massage." Ember replied, making me laugh.
Apollo finally noticed that I was getting closer and he quickly jumped to his feet. “Mommy!” Apollo yelled running straight at me. “Hey my little wolf!” I giggled as I scooped him up in my arms. “Did you have fun with the others?” I asked. “Yes! I wuv them! Ember so fluffy!” Apollo giggled. I can’t believe how big he has gotten and so quickly and now he is talking that cute little gibberish stuff little kids always go through. He is the perfect combination of Tye and I. He had Tyes strong jawline and his fair skin. My jet black hair and mix matched eyes. Even though he eats like it is his last meal he is slim but he is tall. Apollo started squirming in my arms and I looked over my shoulder to see Tye walking up behind us. I sat him down and watched him run straight for his daddy and my heart melted a little more. “That is a wonderful thing to see.” Delilah said. “It honestly is. I can’t wait to have more.” I replied back just as they got to me.
I smiled at my two favorite boys, “Let’s run up to the store and grab what we need. Ember do you want anything specific to eat?” I asked. “Meat and vegetables please and thank you” Ember replied just as the twins jumped on her, making her huff. “Okay we need to move quickly. Dinner will be done soon.” I said turning on my feet. “Ride Rex! Please!” Apollo squealed out clapping his hands. “That’s up to mommy.” Tye said, looking at me. “You want to ride Rex?” I asked. Apollo turned his little face towards me and popped his bottom lip out. “How could I say no to that. Okay come here.” I said, holding my hands out. The moment I positioned him on my hip I took a few steps away and we watched Tye shift and in his place stood Rex. “Rex! I wuv Rex!” Apollo screamed and jumped to the ground running up to Rex. I let the two of them play for a moment before I cleared my throat. “Alright my little and big wolf we need to go.” I said.
Rex whined for a second, “Come on handsome we need to go.” I said. Rex laid on his belly and I helped Apollo climb on his back before I climbed up behind him. When Rex stood up Apollo let out an excited squeal. “Hang on okay?” I said leaning forward making sure Apollo was pressed against my chest with my arms stretched out keeping him balanced as Rex started a slow jog, to Apollo this was every shred of happiness right in this moment. “Mommy! We are so tall!” Apollo giggled. Rex started picking up his pace but it wasn’t anything for me to be overly worried about. We made it to the little shop in no time. Rex squatted back down and after I jumped down I helped Apollo climb down. When we straightened back up in time to see that he had shifted back and together we walked inside the little shop. “Hello! How can I hel- oh goodness, alpha, queen. What do I owe this pleasure?” The little shopkeeper asked.
“We are looking for a little gift basket of sorts for our friends. They are having a son and we would like to surprise them.” I replied with a smile. “We don’t have anything like that but I can make you one really quick!” She replied moving around the desk grabbing a basket. I looked around while Tye was occupying Apollo, my eyes landed on a cute little wolf that oddly looked like Delilah. Pitch black with a green and blue eye. I picked it up and turned around. “Oh yes! I just made those after your wolf. A lot of the kids loved seeing her. That’s the only one left.” The girl said with a smile. “Lilah!” Apollo said, running up to me and reaching for the little wolf I held in my hands. Apollo hugged the stuffed animal and it made my heart smile, she made these because Delilah was well loved. “You see that Delilah?” I asked. “When this is all over I want a day with all the kids.” Delilah said happily.
“Alright I have everything ready for you.” The girl said as she set the basket on the counter. I looked around in the basket and it had bottles and little outfits. Some diapers and clothes and bathing things, wipes and blankets. “This is perfect. How much do we owe?” Tye asked. “Nothing. Next basket will cost you though. Congratulations to your friend.” The girl replied with a big smile. “Oh and here are some balloons!” She added. “Thank you so much. We really appreciate all your help.” I replied with a smile. As she walked to the door to open it I grabbed the basket off the counter while Apollo and I walked outside. “Thank you again.” Tye said with a smile and I knew what he had just done. As soon as she was inside I smiled “You left her money on the counter right?” I asked. “Sure did. More than enough but she deserves it.” Tye replied. “Perfect. Let’s get to the house quickly so I can hide these. Perfect time to practice the invisible spell.” I said as Tye shifted. Once we were all situated Rex ran straight for the house. When we arrived I took a deep breath. “Invisique” I whispered and felt the wind brush against me.
“I’d say it worked.” Tye said. “Just open the front door please, this is kind of heavy” I replied. As soon as I was in I tucked everything away and reappeared. “Let’s finish getting ready. Everyone should be here soon.” I said with a smile. I honestly could not wait until we revealed what we had in store for Angie and Brent.
