Chapter 43:

Pythia POV:
Okay so one charge knocked off and another on hold, this is good right? "We hear you have been neglecting your role as queen due to your mate, what say you?" A female elder asked. "I have mated with an alpha wolf, yes, but as far as my roles I am with them every day unless I am summoned elsewhere, my two in command for when I am not there tell me everything and do as I say" I replied. "We will look further into that, now on to treason. We have never allied ourselves with wolves or vampires. What gives you the right to bring a peace offering to them?" A male elder asked a little too harshly. "As I have already stated, I am mated to an alpha wolf, our child will be mixed with races. The vampires have done us no harm like the wolves so why shouldn't we be peaceful with them? I retorted. I could see anger flash across his face. I see he will be one that will take some convincing I suppose. "That is treason. We can not do this." A female elder snapped.
I narrowed my eyes at her, "What is your reasoning on why we can't?" I asked. "Because we have always dominated the races! We don't need help from dogs." She snapped. "Are you so narrow minded that you would cause a war within your own people?" Ambrosia spoke up. "You have no say here, vampire." The female snapped. I turned my head slightly to see that Ambrosia had risen to her feet and walked next to me. "Watch your bitch tone with me witch. You may be an elder but I am a queen and will demand the respect that is deserved." Ambrosias voice boomed out with sheer power. I watched as the female's face paled and she lowered her eyes. "We mean no disrespect." My dad quickly said. "I didn't think so. The charges that are presented are full of ignorance and lack of research." Ambrosia said stiffly. Well so much for us all staying calm. I wrapped my arm around her, I could still feel the warmth swirling within me. "You two seem like you know each other very well." My aunt stated. I tightened my arm around her a little bit hoping she would get the hint. "We are, Ambrosia and I are sisters, and if any of you know your history then you would know that we dark witches had a hand in helping the moon goddess create vampires." I replied.
I watched as a few of them sat back a little more in their chairs. I heard the doors open behind me and I knew what was coming. "Excuse me elders but it seems we have a few guests." A young man said from behind us. "Who is it?" My dad asked. "They would not say, there are seven females and seven males. Wolves and white witches to be exact." He replied. Slowly everyone looked at me but I kept my face neutral. "Pythia what do you know?" My aunt asked. "I do not know, I apologize." I replied. I could feel the aura rolling off all of the alphas as they walked in. I pulled Ambrosia to the side as they all walked in, I was impressed at how well they all looked. Alley and Stephen lead the group, they lined up in front of all the elders. "Who are you and why are you here?" A male elder snapped. "You will mind your tongue." Stephen growled out. Alley placed her hand on his arm before she looked at each of them. "My name is Alley, I am the Luna of the Blackwood pack, I am also the great white witch. This is my mate and Alpha, he also comes from a royal bloodline, the people you see here with me are alpha and lunas, the lunas are also white witches with elements. The two at the ends are the first born protectors and our guards. We would like to speak to you all." Alley stated proudly.
No one said anything at first. "We are listening." My dad said. "My brother is Pythias' mate, and since he is a wolf and she is mated to him she falls under our rules and council as well." Alley stated. "That is not possible, she is a dark witch and only falls under us." A female replied. "Incorrect, the moon goddess chose her mate and because of that she falls under us as well." Jack spoke up. "This is something we would have to look into." My aunt said, "We collect what we have found and turn it over to you, when we have done that we have a say in her judgment." Alley replied. "Blasphemy! You can't walk in here and tell us what we can and can't do." A female elder replied. "I didn't say we were. Pythia has done no wrong and we will protect her." Alley replied with force in her tone. "We have much to consider and look into. Pythia, we will need you to stay another night." My dad stated. "I will, so will my mate, guard, Ambrosia and her mate." I replied. "We will be back tomorrow and turn over what we have. We look forward to getting to know you all. Perhaps then you will see that peace can be kept." Alley said with a smile.
I watched as the elders got up with haste and walked out, I quickly turned and motioned for everyone to follow me outside. "Alley, did you spread spirit to me?" I asked. At first Alley looked confused, "No, I didn't why?" Alley replied. That is weird. "I felt it flow through me." I replied, scrunching my face together. "Thank you all for being here." I quickly said. "We told you we would be here, and we will be here tomorrow as well. We must return though to gather what we can. I hope you understand." Chloe said, smiling at me. "I do understand, again thank you all." I replied with a smile. Now my question is if Alley didn't spread spirit to me then who or what did?
