Chapter 47:

Pythia POV:

"How do you feel though? Are you okay?" Ambrosia asked. "I feel okay, slightly tired but I'm not sure what that is from." I said laughing. "That is true, I have been getting tired more quickly now that we are close to the end." Ambrosia replied smiling. "What are you ladies up to?" Alley asked as she waddled up to us. "I grew a dandelion!" I blurted. Alley looked down and smiled, "That is fantastic! How do you feel?" Alley asked as she sat down next to us. "I'm okay, I don't think I pushed myself too hard, it actually came pretty easily to me." I replied. "I just wanted to see if I could do it, I won't do this while I'm still carrying Apollo though just in case I go too far, I don't want to hurt him." I stated. "That's probably a good idea, how are my nephews?" Alley asked. "Artemis is doing good, Julie said he is just about ready to come out." Ambrosia replied smiling.
"I honestly can't wait to meet all these babies. I know I'm ready for mine to be here." Alley giggled. "Apollo is already so active, and it seems like he will be gifted." I replied. "Gifted? With what?" Alley asked. "With spirit, I spoke with Davina. You remember when I asked if you had spread spirit to me?" I asked. "Yes, I do. Outside of the building." Alley replied. "Well as it turns out it was Apollo." I replied. I watched as shock registered on her face. "How? He isn't born yet. What about Artemis?" Alley asked. "Not that I know of yet, but I do have a feeling that all our kids will be gifted." Ambrosia replied. "You really think so?" Alley asked. "I do. I have thought about it a lot and it would not surprise me at all." Ambrosia replied. "What are those?" Alley asked as she looked behind me to the bowl, knife and map. "Oh, I'm going to find Brandons mate for him as a thank you for all he has done for Ambrosia and I." I replied. "Wait, you can do that?" Alley asked, a bit surprised. Truthfully I am not shocked she isn't aware, it has been decades upon decades that we have done stuff like this.
"Yes, long ago dark witches used to aid wolves in finding their mates when they couldn't, with as many packs as there are it can be difficult to find them. Then the fighting and rivalry started and we stopped helping. It's very simple to do." I replied. "I had no idea, that is truly fascinating." Alley replied. "Well, once peace is officially maintained we will go back to doing just that. It feels good to help those who can't help themselves no matter how hard they try." I replied. I couldn't imagine my life without Tye and I never knew it was possible for me to have a mate. Wolves need their second half and it is heartbreaking for me to think that a lot of them will never find them. "I am about to get Brandon out here so we can start." I stated. "Tye, can y'all come back?" I asked through the link. "Be right there my beauty." Tye replied. "May I stay and watch?" Alley asked. "Of course you can." I replied. I could hear running through the house and I knew for a fact that it was Brandon. I know how excited he is for this and that just made me feel even more better about my decision to do this.
"Slow down you moron before you trip yourself!" Tye yelled out as Brandon swung the front door open and ran out. How is he not out of breath? Just watching him move that quickly made me feel winded. I grabbed what I needed and texted Lillith to bring me the herbs now. She instantly appeared next to me with a smile. "This makes me happy." Lillith said, smiling at Brandon. I poured the herbs in the bowl and looked up to Brandon. "Sit down please and give me your hand." I said. He quickly sat and stuck his open hand out to me. I cut a long line across his palm and looked up to make sure I didn't hurt him. Brandon didn't even flinch. I turned his hand over and squeezed lightly until I had enough of his blood. I released his hand only for Alley to take it and heal him herself. I mixed the blood and herbs and let it sit while I got the map ready. I laid it out on the grass because I had to light it on fire and I didn't want anything else to catch, that would be a big problem. "Are you ready?" I asked, smiling at Brandon. "More than ready." Brandon whispered. I could swear he was about to cry and honestly, I couldn't blame him. I carefully poured the blood on the map making sure it covered the states.
I took a deep breath before raising my hand "Insignia." I whispered, the map went up in flames for a few seconds before a little town was all that was left. "Claremore Oklahoma." I whispered. "That is where your mate is, does it sound familiar to you?" I asked and going off his face he had no idea. He slowly shook his head but I could still see the hope in his eyes. "That is where Leia is.." Alley whispered. Leia? Her best friend Leia? Now this should be interesting.
