Chapter 117:

Pythia POV:

I was still soaking in the bath, Tye hadn't left me at all and I watched him mix the herbs that Lillith had brought up. He has learned so much and his tenderness made my heart swell. "I don't want you moving around too much but if you have to go anywhere Delilah can carry you if I am not around." Tye said gently as he faced me. "I have two legs, you know. I can walk." I replied. "You can but you don't need to over do it either." Tye replied squatting next to the bathtub. He gently smoothed the herbs across my face and I felt the familiar warmth of the healing herbs. "I will have Beth stay with you too so she can help with Apollo but tonight I want us all home watching a movie or something." Tye added. "We can do that. I do want to check on everything though and I still have to decide on if I want to rejoin with Delilah or not." I said. "May I offer my thoughts?" Tye asked. I smiled at him, he knew he didn't need to ask. I nodded my head. "I think you should stay separate, but see if you two can still merge at times. If y'all can I say let her stay out to guard you." Tye said.

I hadn't thought of that. I wonder if that is a possibility because if it is then that would change things. "She will still need to connect with Rex though." I said. "They are always connected because they are mates too. I can always let him out or something and they can always communicate through their own little mind link so they can talk." Tye replied. I looked over to Delilah who was now snoring on the bedroom floor. "I think I like the idea of her being separate from me, we all know how protective she is and the twins will be with Apollo. I think it would put your mind at ease as well." I said, smirking. "It would, now let's get you out and dressed and Lillith is bringing some face mask thingy that you need to put on before bed tonight. She explained it to me but girly stuff is just not for me to remember." Tye said as he grabbed a towel.

I grabbed the sides of the tub and lifted myself up slowly. When Tye turned back around his face hardened. "It's a good thing he is dead." He growled. Tye helped me dry off before carrying me to the bedroom and gently setting me down on the edge of the bed. He walked to the closet and grabbed a pair of his sweat pants and one of his shirts for me to wear. Tye helped me dress before he walked back to the bathroom and came back with a brush. He sat beside me and gently towel dried my hair before he started running the brush through it. My scalp was incredibly sore but he was being overly gentle and made sure that he didn't hit any sores. When he was done he wrapped his arms around me and I leaned backwards into him. "I'm so proud of you." Tye whispered. "I know, it couldn't have been easy for you to not do anything." I replied. "I tried but Alley locked me inside a stupid cage." Tye grumbled, making me laugh. "No she didn't." I giggled. "Oh yes she did. She even yelled at me." Tye pouted. "Aw my poor baby, at least she didn't snatch you up like she did Bartholomew. Be glad all she did was yell at you." I replied, making him laugh.

"I did see that, he deserved it though. Are you hungry? We can get you something." Tye asked. "Actually I am starving. I want to try to walk though if you don't mind." I replied. "Just hold on to me." Tye said, climbing off of the bed. Delilah stood to her feet and I smiled at her. "Did you have a nice nap?" I asked. "I'll sleep better later. I want my own bed." Delilah replied. "You can have your own room we can set up." I replied. Tye held his hand out to me which I gladly took. "Put the slippers on the Ambrosia got for you. They'll cushion your feet." Delilah said quickly before she pushed them towards me. My legs felt a little like jello but I needed to walk to get back to some normalcy I held onto Tye as we started walking slowly, every time I took a step it felt like I was walking on needles. I took a deep breath and kept pushing myself forward until we came to the stairs. Tye paused for a brief moment before he finally just picked me up. "You aren't good at hiding your pain." He whispered. "I never intended to but I still have to every now and then." I replied. "Not the stairs just yet. I don't mind carrying you." Tye replied.

I rested my head in the crook of his neck and breathed in his scent. It really did have a calming effect. I knew it would help me relax, when we got to the bottom of the stairs he gently placed me back on my feet. I could feel my body tense up, I grabbed onto Tyes arm again and he led me to the kitchen table where he pulled out my chair for me and I sat down. "What would you like to eat?" Tye asked. "Something soft, Julie said my jaw is fractured so I don't want to make it any worse." I replied. "How about some chicken soup? Maybe some crackers too." Tye said rummaging around the kitchen. "Oh for goddess sake just go sit down and let me handle this." Beth said from the doorway. I smiled at her and then our son bolted from behind her making his way towards me, Tye scooped him up just before he reached me and Apollo let out a squeal of joy, "Dada! Mommy!" Apollo screamed. Beth walked over to me and bent slightly to look at me, "Lillith should be here soon, I'll make you some lunch and get you some juice." Beth said softly.

I looked over to see Lucinda walking in behind her, "They were more than happy to come back. The twins should be on their way. How are you?" Lucinda asked, sitting down next to me. "I've been better, I walked a little bit though." I replied. Tye sat on the other side of me with Apollo in his lap, I turned and smiled at him but I was met with a confused little boy, his forehead creased and his nose scrunched up. "Mommy has owies daddy." Apollo said, looking sad. "Mommy is fine, just small owies." I said gently. "No big owies. Daddy fix mommy." Apollo pouted, making us all laugh. "I can still heal you if you'd like." Lucinda said. "It's okay, it won't take me long. Where is my dad?" I asked. "I sent him to check on your aunt and uncle, he will be by later tonight but I wanted to talk to you two about a few things." Lucinda said, looking between me and Tye. "We are all ears." Tye said. "Well I wanted to know if you made a decision about Delilah." Lucinda said.

"Yes, and no. If I chose to keep things how they are, is there any way she and I could merge if need be?" I asked. "Of course, all you two would have to do is wield your elements and it'll be done." Lucinda replied. That made me feel a little bit better. "What about Rex?" I asked. "Whenever they need to bond you can reunite with Delilah and then both of you shift. They will remain mates because they truly are." Lucinda replied. That made me feel even better, I needed Rex to know he wasn't losing her at all. "Then I would like to keep things as they are." I said with a smile. "The other thing I wanted to talk to you two about was how you both would feel if I stayed here for a while, I would like to spend as much time as I can with everyone." Lucinda said with hope in her voice. Was she really asking our permission to stay with us? I smiled as wide as I could and looked at her, "Of course you can. You don't need to ask." I replied. "We would love to have you here with us, you can stay as long as you would like." Tye added.

Lucinda smiled at both of us before her eyes landed on Apollo, "Thank you both. I promise I won't be in the way and sometimes I may have to go back and help Athea." Lucinda said. "Can I go?" Apollo asked happily. "Only if mommy and daddy say you can." Lucinda said. "Here is soup and crackers, I made enough for all of us." Beth said, walking over to us. "What do you want to eat Apollo?" Beth asked, looking down at him. "Chickie nuggies please." Apollo said sweetly. "Where are the others?" I asked. "They are reconnecting with their loved ones right now, Brent and Angie stayed away to give us some time." Lucinda replied. "How are they? I need to find a way to heal them." I said. "No need, Athea and I did that while they were with us. They are still healing but they will be fine in time." Lucinda replied. "Oh, well thank you. I'm sure they feel a lot better." I said. As we ate we made small talk and I knew it was a matter of time before Jasper came busting in the door. "While I am here I will teach you how to use your gifts in deciding on who gets a second chance or not. It's something to be learned in time but we will get there." Lucinda said easily.

I figured but at least I had someone to teach me what I am supposed to do instead of fighting to figure it out on my own. I was just glad that all of this was over with, and now I get time with Lucinda and we can all get to know each other a lot better. "How long will it take you to heal?" Lucinda asked. "She didn't really say, but she will be checking in and I do have to go back and see her in a few weeks." I replied. "How come?" Lucinda said with a hint of a smile. "I think you already know. They took some blood and did all kinds of tests but only one came back inconclusive." I replied. "Mm, I may know something." Lucinda said slickly. "I'm pregnant aren't I?" I asked. "That you are. Would you like even better news?" Lucinda said excitedly. Oh crap, what could be better news? I looked over at Tye and he had a face splitting smile on his face. He nodded his head eagerly. "Twins." Lucinda said. The moment the word left her mouth I felt my face pale. Oh shit really?! I looked over to Tye and narrowed my eyes. "Don't look at me like those twins run on your side." Tye laughed. Of course he would find this funny.

I'm going to be the one that blows up like a beached whale while he keeps his perfectly toned abs. "Let him enjoy this moment, never know they could be girls.'' Lucinda laughed. Tyes face dropped instantly and I couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. "Absolutely not." Tye muttered. "It is a possibility, guess we will have to wait and see." I laughed. The front door opened and the twins along with Alex came strolling in. "Why does Tye look like he wants to kill people?" Jenson asked. "Ah well because it seems like twins are on the way and they might be girls." I chuckled. "Who is having twins? Beth?!" Jasper said with wide eyes. "Not me. Just one baby in here." Beth giggled. They all turned to look at me and I smiled. "I'd be okay with nieces." Jasper said. "We could always play dress up." Jenson laughed. "Not enough humor in the world to make me feel better." Tye growled out. "He is going to freak out if they are girls. You should have seen him when I was pregnant with Apollo and Julie thought he was a girl early on. He was ready to have an army around her." I laughed.

Lucinda laughed freely "I think she will be perfectly safe, you have no need to worry." Lucinda said. "Ah that reminds me, Athea and I want to do something special for all of you once everyone is healed up." Lucinda said. "What are you two planning?" I asked. "I guess you will just have to wait and see but I hear someone's mother likes to plan big things." Lucinda said, looking at Tye. "Oh boy, this is going to be a big celebration." Tye said. I wondered what all they had planned but for now I'll just enjoy the moment of my little family being reunited with each other. Right now this was the best therapy anyone needed.
