Chapter 63:

Pythia POV:

We finally got everyone out of the cell and Tye took Alcide to cool off so we can figure out what we are going to do with his dad. All this time he had a mate but she couldn't have kids so he used Olivia? That is total crap. Olivia hasn't really said a word since we got outside. I think she is trying to figure out her own thoughts. "This is so much worse than I thought." I said to Jasper. "Fuck man I know. How could someone do that and think that it is okay?" Jasper replied. "This is all insane. I can't imagine the struggle Alcide is in right now." Jason said as he walked up to us. "He has to make a decision. He can't turn him rouge though, didn't they heal all of them?" I asked. "I believe so but I would have to double check. He could just banish him from his pack. He could find another pack if they would take him in." Jasper replied. "That would be too easy." Olivia said bitterly. 

I didn't realize she had walked over to us but going off the look on her face I knew she had something in mind. "Let's wait for the boys to get back and we can discuss what to do." I replied, hooking my arm in hers. This was the first time I saw her stand this strong in a while. Maybe it was the spirit that flowed through her, either way this was good. She had to go through the notions to heal properly. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Not really, finding out the truth is never easy." Olivia replied. "When are the boys getting back?" I asked. "We are back." Tye said as he and Alcide walked up to us. "I will kill him." Alcide muttered. "No, I want to separate their wolves from them." Olivia replied. "Is that even possible?" I asked. "It is. It is the worst kind of punishment for someone to go through. It is the same as stripping someone of their magic.'' Olivia replied. "They will be forced to live as humans?" Alcide asked. "Yes." Olivia replied. 

They took a child from her. It is only right she takes the wolf from them. "Okay what needs to be done?" I asked. "We need Davina to represent spirit and we need a seer." Olivia replied. "A seer? For what?" Tye asked. "A seer to guide the wolf back to the goddess realm." Olivia replied. That made sense, I guess that was part of the job but Danny is still too young. "I will talk to Alley, maybe Ember can help." I said. "Who is Ember?" Alcide asked. "I will let the others fill you in on that but we have to summon  Davina and I have to get Alleys approval first. Hang tight and I will return." I said before I disappeared. I landed just outside of Alleys home and I quickly knocked on the door. As soon as the door opened I was met with a bright smile. "Hey Pythia! Please come in." Alley said. I followed her inside and saw the twins had completely destroyed the living room which made me giggle. "Pardon the mess. What is going on?" Alley said, pulling my attention back to her. 

"We have figured out a punishment for Alicides father and stepmother." I replied. "Hold on, fill me in a little here. What else has happened?" Alley asked seriously. "Turns out that the woman is his mate, has been his mate but she can't have kids so he tricked and used Olivia to gain a child for them to raise." I replied harshly. "Are you fucking kidding me? Please tell me the punishment is death." Alley seethed. "Worse. Olivia wants to strip them of their wolves rendering them human." I replied. "A life as a human? That would be punishment. How do we complete it?" Alley asked. "We need Davina for spirit and a seer to guide their wolves back to the goddess realm." I replied. "So you need either Danny or Ember?" Alley asked. "Yes, I know Danny is still too young so I thought maybe it could be Ember? Or we could figure out another way if you say no." I replied. 

"I will leave the option up to Danny. He gets out of school soon, I will speak with him, Ember and Stephen and meet you at the cells. I will also summon Davina." Alley replied. "Are you sure? We could probably summon her." I offered. "It is hard to summon someone you do not share an element with. Davina can be hard to reach at times." Alley replied softly. I guess I didn't think of that. That is probably why each time we have tried no one has shown face. "Thank you Alley, I really appreciate this." I said with a smile. "You can pay me back by watching the twins tonight? Stephen and I are desperate for a date night." Alley replied. "We would be honored to watch them! We will keep them all night." I replied with a smile. "Oh thank you! Thank you!" Alley said, wrapping me up in a hug making me laugh. "Don't thank me, that is my niece and nephew. We will always watch them." I replied. "I'll make sure everything is packed and we will drop them off. Thank you again." Alley said excitedly. "I'll meet you at the cells." I said. "Yes, I will be there soon." Alley replied. 

I came back to the original spot everyone was all in. They all stopped talking when I came back. "Alley is summoning Davina and will bring Danny and Ember here, oh also we are keeping the twins tonight." I said smiling at Tye. "Good thing we have twins." Tye snickered. "Hey Apollo is a handful as it is." Jasper huffed. "Well Jason can stay too. You boys are getting a crash course in all things baby tonight." I said laughing. "Did your father get cleaned up?" I asked. "Yes, Julie went down there a few minutes ago." Jason said. "Is there anything else that you want to know before we do this?" I asked, looking at Alcide and Olivia. "No. I don't want to hear anything else he has to say." Alcide said. "I don't think I can listen to it anymore." Olivia said. I heard the door open and saw Julie step out and walk straight to us. "Well you did a number on him but he will be fine. He's mainly healed now." Julie said, looking at Alcide.  

"Thank you Julie." I said softly smiling at her, she didn't ask anything or say anything else. I saw a large wolf walking towards us. The closer I looked the more I realized it was Ember with Danny riding on top of her. Alley walked beside them, on the other side was Davina. How did she always look absolutely stunning? I need to know her secrets to looking young. "It is nice to see everyone again, shall we begin?" Davina asked. "Tye, you, Jasper and Jason go get them." I said easily. "I am so sorry for what you went through Olivia." Davina said as her eyes fell on my aunt. "You will only have each other, along with your other family of course." Davina added. "We are very thankful." Alcide said smiling. I heard the door slam open and all eyes turned to the two that were being pulled out. Dexter was fighting with everything he had but his mate was no match for Jason. As they were brought to their knees before us I could see the fear that was hidden behind their eyes. 

Davina took a step forward looking down at them. "Dexter and  Ella, for the atrocious actions you have done you will be stripped of your wolves. This is your punishment for using a woman for your own gain, hurting her as well as your son. You made her feel the death of her child. You will feel the loss of your wolves, sentenced to walk the remainder of your time as human." Davina said with a huge amount of power in her voice. "You can't do this!" Ella shouted. "I am your father!" Dexter yelled at Alcide. "This is the punishment that was chosen." Davina replied easily. "She has no right to choose our punishment!" Ella screamed. I stormed forwards and raised my hand only to slam the back of my hand clean across her face, blood trickling out of the corner of her mouth. "She has EVERY right after what you both did to her. You will NOT disrespect her in any way." I seethed. Ellas eyes widened in shock. Not that I really cared. 

Dexter opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by a wave of wind. "SILENCE!" Davina roared, her hair slowly lifted and her eyes turned solid white. She stepped between both of them and rested a hand on each of their heads. Their bodies started to shake and their eyes rolled back, shortly after they started screaming in pain. It was soon drowned out by the site of wolves breaking away from them. Tears ran down their faces as they screamed and shook in pain. When the wolves had broken free Ember and Danny walked forward. His Ember colored eyes shined brighter than they usually do. They didn't look at anyone around us. "Come my wolves. Let me take you home." Danny said, gaining their attention. Both wolves looked scared and unsure of what was happening. Danny walked between them and gently ran his hand over their legs. "Nothing to be afraid of now, you get to go to the grove." Danny said excitedly. As Ember walked up both wolves bowed their heads in respect before they let out a painful howl. I watched as they all walked off only to disappear to where I assumed the grove was.

My mouth fell open at the site. Danny didn't sound like Danny. His voice was laced with power and his aura was warm and gentle. When I looked back over to Davina her eyes had gone back to normal and Dexter and Ella laid unconscious on the ground. "It is done. They will be weak but they will live normally as a human would." Davina said, looking at us. "Do with them what you see fit. I must go and welcome the new wolves." Davina added. "Thank you Davina." I said. "No need to thank me, I have opened a line of communication for you. Should you ever need guidance with Apollo just call me and I will come." Davina replied with a smile. She soon disappeared and we were left with two humans. "Put them back in the cells for now. We will feed them and then take them to the city." Alley said as she looked at them. I watched as the boys picked them up and hauled them back to the cells. "How do you both feel?" I asked. "Relieved." Alcide replied. "Like I got justice." Olivia said with a small smile. "Good. Now the two of you can build the relationship that should have been there from the start." I said. 

"I would like for you to come meet my pack if that is okay." Alcide said, looking at Olivia. "I would love that son. I just need to tell the grand elders that I am taking an extended leave." Olivia replied. Now this is what I had hoped would happen. They both deserve all the happiness and I feel like now they will get it.
