Chapter 122:
Pythia POV:
I woke up feeling a lot better than I have been the last few days. Apollo was curled up next to me while Delilah was laying at the end of the bed. I quietly climbed out of the bed and walked into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror to see my hair still had the shine from it getting done last night. I wrapped it up and put a shower cap on before I turned on the hot water. I turned back to the sink while the water was heating up to brush my teeth, the day was finally here and I couldn't be more excited. When I was done brushing my teeth I quickly stepped in the shower grabbing my loofah and lathering it with soap. I wonder how the guys night went. I didn't need anyone to tell me that Tye had been trying to secretly check in on me because every time Alleys eyes glazed over I knew who it was. I rinsed off and stepped out of the shower and towel dried myself and slipped on my robe and slippers.
I took my shower cap off and let my hair fall down, I picked up my brush and ran it through to get the tangles out of it when the door creaked open and a very sleepy Apollo walked through rubbing his eyes. "Good morning my little wolf." I whispered as I picked him up. He wrapped his arms around my neck and laid his head on my shoulder. I walked back in the room and sat on the edge of the bed and wrapped my arms around him. "Are you ready for today?" I asked. "Yes momma we have to dress nice today." Apollo said with a yawn. "Yes, we do. So how about we get you some breakfast." I said standing up. "Lilah needs food too." Apollo said stubbornly. Delilah raised her head and tilted it slightly. "I promise we will get her some food now let's go downstairs." I said standing up. His little feet pattered behind me as we walked down the hallway and I could smell breakfast being made. "Your auntie Beth better not be on her feet cooking." I whispered, making Apollo giggle.
The last thing she needed to worry about was making everyone food this morning when we had everything else to do. When we got down stairs I saw Lucinda standing in the kitchen, she was humming a song to herself when she finally looked up. "Oh good! I'm just about done. sit down. The others will be down here soon." Lucinda said with a smile. Apollo and I sat down at our normal spots while Delilah went and laid in the living room. As the others finally came down and sat around the table we started to eat. "After this we will round up all the kids and get them ready while I do your hair." Lucinda said with a smile. She has been looking forward to today and she is overly excited about it all. While we all finished Ambrosia and Beth stood up and started getting the kids together while Alley went to get all their clothes together to make sure that they were cleaned and pressed.
I helped put all of the plates in the dishwasher before we made our way upstairs, we walked into the room and I went straight to the bathroom and grabbed my makeup bag. I knew I wasn't going to apply much because I didn't want to cry it off or something. When I walked back out Lucinda was setting everything that was going to be needed up. "Come sit and let's get started, we don't have that much time left." Lucinda said looking at her watch. She was right, we only had a few more hours to go until we needed to meet my dad downstairs. I started applying the makeup while she parted my hair and began curling and pinning it in different directions. It's a really good thing that I am not tender headed because I would probably be in some pain right about now. I applied a light brown shade as an undercoat and blended a dark green over it. I lined my eyelid with eyeliner and winged it out on the sides.
I watched Lucinda wrap my hair in a bun and let some curls fall freely before she started braiding a tight braid across my head letting some pieces of my hair fall out of the sides. I finished applying a small amount of blush and mascara before I finally looked at myself. Lucinda is so good, "I absolutely love it." I said with a smile. "I'm glad you do, good choice on the eye shadow. Let's get dressed because I have something special for you to hold your veil behind your bun." Lucinda said. "Okay, I'll get dressed real quick." I said walking towards the bathroom. "I'll be right back." Lucinda said as she walked out of the door. I opened the closet door and grabbed my dress and my stocking set that I was supposed to wear under the dress. Just because I have a round belly doesn't mean I can't be sexy right? I laughed at myself and the amount of thoughts that have crossed my mind when I was picking it out.
I had to make sure that it wasn't tight because the last thing I needed was to pass out or something. As I got dressed my nerves started to set in. There were going to be so many people here and I hadn't seen how everything was decorated although I did feel the ground under me shake a few times and told me that Tyes mom was still making last minute adjustments and not that I minded. I gave her full control of everything. When I finished putting my dress on and zipping up the back I stepped out of the bathroom to see all the women and our kids standing by the door. A huge smile came across my face, my little wolf looked dashing in his little suit with a green undershirt. Artemis and Jesse had little suits as well and the twins had matching outfits while Ari had a little puffy dress that she wanted to wear. Lucinda stepped forward with a green diamond butterfly hair clip. "I forged this with the elements, when you start to feel nervous spirit will work its way out to calm you." Lucinda whispered as she placed my veil behind my bun and secured it with the hair clip. "Thank you so much." I said as I hugged her.
"Your father is waiting for you downstairs, it's time." Ambrosia said with a smile. "We will see you out there." Alley said happily. "Do you need anything else?" Beth asked. "No, I'm okay. I'm ready." I said, taking a deep breath. Beth walked down first followed by Alley, Jessie and the twins. Next down was Lucinda holding Apollos hand while Ambrosia, Artemis and Ari walked down last. I heard the music start and I took another deep breath and I made my way down the stairs to find Delilah and my dad. "You look beautiful." My dad whispered as he hugged me. "He is right, you look stunning." Delilah said through our link. "Thank you both. Just please don't let me fall." I laughed. "We would never." My dad replied as the music for my entrance rang out in the speakers. I chose a soft jazz song and as we made out way out I could finally see all that Tyes mother had done and I was stunned.
Chairs were set up split in half by the walkway, soft pink flowers were laced around them and logs lined the walk way. Much like the celebration it was all covered with a wooden makeshift building. Twigs and green flowers hung from the roof of it and I could see it had lights intertwined with them. There were large wooden pillars to hold everything in place with Ivies wrapping themselves around them. I looked up to see Tye with tears in his eyes, he was absolutely breathtaking in his jet black suit with a matching green undershirt. His hair was slicked back and he had a huge smile across his face. There were so many people here but I only had my eyes set on the man who wanted me to take his last name. It was like everything had blurred out and all I could see was him waiting for me. When we finally reached the front he held out his hand for me to take. I slid my hand into his and felt sparks flew up and around my body bringing a big smile to my face. I could feel all of his emotions rolling off him at once.
Pride, amazement and pure love. We stood side by side as Alex, yes Alex married us. It went by in a blur and I hardly remember saying I do until our lips finally clashed together. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer to me before we finally separated. We looked out onto the cheering crowd and I laid my head on his shoulder, this was by far one of the best moments I have ever had in my life.....
**Tye POV**:
I was so ready for all of this to get started. I was pacing around the room watching the time go slowly by. I didn't want to get dressed too early but I wanted to see Pythia but I knew that I couldn't. "How is she? Did she eat breakfast? She did sleep right?" I fired off questions to Alley through the mind link. I hardly slept at all last night because I hated the thought of being away from her and Apollo so I may have snuck out to look in the window. At one point I saw Apollo and Delilah sleeping away in the room. Pythia had Apollo tucked close to her and she had him wrapped up in her arms. Even when I did see that they were all perfectly fine I still couldn't sleep. "You just can't handle yourself can you? Pythia is fine, she just got done eating breakfast and her and Lucinda are about to start getting ready. Calm down." Alley said quickly. My nerves were all over the place and I didn't know if I could wait much longer.
The bedroom door flung open and all the guys stood in the doorway. "I am going to get over there and make sure everything is where it needs to be." Alex said with a smile. "I still can't believe you talked us into letting you officiate everything." I muttered. "Well honestly who else was going to do it? Don't tell me you wanted some stranger to do it." Alex huffed. "Of course not, just go. My patience is running very thin and I have half a mind of moving everything forward." I grumbled. "Calm down brother and let's get ready. Maybe that will keep your mind occupied." Jackson said, patting my back. I rolled my eyes, he knew that it wouldn't but I appreciate him trying to keep my mind a little busy. "Alright get out so I can shower and get ready." I said walking towards the bathroom. I turned the shower on before grabbing my suit and hanging it on the bathroom door. I jumped in the shower and made sure I was clean of the cigar smell that I could still smell on me.
When I was finished I dried myself off before putting all of my suit except my jacket on. I wanted Apollo and I to match so I picked an emerald green under shirt for us to wear. Pythia said she wanted something to match the pack and I thought this was the best way possible. I brushed my teeth and slicked my hair back. I needed to get a haircut but it can wait until later. I grabbed my black socks and dress shoes from the closet and walked over to the bed and sat down. While I was putting my shoes on Jackson and Stephen walked in. "You were there a long time. Hurry up, we have to get going." Stephen said. "Alright I'll meet you guys downstairs." I said jumping up to get my suit jacket. I put it on and buttoned the middle button and took one last look in the mirror before I made my way downstairs.
I looked around to the guys until my eyes landed on Jackson. "You have the rings right?" I asked. "Of course I do now, let's go." Jackson replied. As we made our way out and across the field my eyes landed on all the decorations my mother had worked hard on. She did an amazing job at everything. "Ah my boy! Look at you!" My mother said as she hugged me. "Are you ready son?" My dad asked. "Of course I am." I replied easily. "Good now go take your place. Boys, go wait by the door for the ladies to start walking out." My mother said sternly as her and my dad made their way to their seats. I walked up and stood to the side of Alex and looked out at all the people that showed up. I was surprised at how many humans actually decided to come. They stayed in the back in close groups even though we had more than enough chairs lined up for them to sit down. When the music started my eyes snapped to the door.
I wanted to see her so badly, I rotated my weight on my feet a few times, "Calm down." Alex whispered as the ladies started making their way towards us. I looked at all the kids and a smile came to my face seeing them in all of their outfits. "Daddy!" Apollo yelled, making me laugh. "Hey buddy." I said as he ran to me. I placed him beside me just as the music for her started to play and my eyes scanned around again until I finally laid my eyes on her. She looked absolutely beautiful and for a moment I forgot to breathe. Her dress fit her perfectly and suited her well. Her hair caressed her face and I started to feel tears build up around my eyes. My eyes met hers and everything else went blank. "Rex, I need some help." I said quickly. I felt him push forward slightly just before she reached me. If it wasn't for Rex I don't think I would have been able to move. Sparks shot throughout my body the moment she laid her hand in mine. Everything after that became a total blur until I was finally able to place my lips against hers. I felt her wrap her arms around my neck and pull me close and for a moment it was just up that stood there.
All that mattered in this moment was she was finally mine in every way possible and I was the happiest man alive.
