Chapter 77:
Pythia POV:
It has been a long night needless to say. Alley gave birth to her baby, a boy. They decided to name him Jessie. Ambrosia had her daughter as well and named her Ari. She has a red tint to her eyes which made us all the more curious if she will have an element gift. Both babies were born healthy thank goddess. Labor was not easy for either of them due to the stress of what was happening around us. The three witches we caught haven't spoken a word since they have been placed in the cells and we had to bind them to the walls because they kept trying to kill each other. Like it was a back up plan if they got caught. The feral man we caught growls at each chance he gets at any of us and going off of how horrible he looks he is starting to feel the effects of the ill intentions shield. My witches haven't fallen sick which proves they had a spell placed on them. Their thoughts are their own and in their mind they didn't have bad intentions.
We were all heading down to the cells and I tried desperately to figure out a way to get that man to talk to us somehow. Maybe we could save his wolf? Maybe offer him a shower since he stinks worse than death itself. "How are the ladies doing this morning?" I asked Tye. I had to tend to Apollo but I had sent Tye to go check on the girls because I have been worried. "They are both great. Back on their feet already, they are mad as hell though." Tye replied. "Why are they mad?" I asked. "Because of everything that happened, they understand about the witches but this wolf. Whoever he is has really angered the both of them. They can't believe the nerve of them to do what they did." Tye replied. "I wish they wouldn't get so worked up over it. They need to heal." I whispered. "We were all worried and he is lucky that I haven't killed him yet." Tye growled out.
"I am hoping to make a deal with him. What if we offered to save his wolf? Like what happened with Jeremy and his pack." I said cautiously. I didn't know how he would react to this. "That's actually not a bad idea. That's if he even wants it, what do we do if he doesn't?" Tye asked. "He will die soon enough. His body is already showing signs of shutting down." I replied. As we walked down the small hall I stopped in front of the cell with my three witches. Their eyes were pleading and it broke my heart seeing them like that. "Let me in." I said not taking my eyes off of them. As soon as the door was opened I walked over to them, the first one I got to was a girl. She didn't look any older than twenty, I placed both my hands on her cheeks. Her skin felt cold as ice, her eyes were scanning my face and as much as I wanted her to be able to talk to me I knew she couldn't
"Is there anyone here who can tap in to her thoughts?" I asked. "I can." Alley said from behind me. "What are you doing here? You need to recover." I said over my shoulders. "I can't rest knowing these innocent people are suffering. Stephen is spending a little quality time with Jessie anyways." Alley replied easily. She walked up to us and stood by my side. "Keep one hand on her head. I'll be able to let you see too." Alley said as she placed one hand on the side of my head and one on the side of the girls head. I didn't have time to ask how this was going to work until I felt myself being jerked inside a dark place. I couldn't see anything in here. "Alley?" I whispered. "I'm here hold on." Alley replied, shortly after I saw a little ball of fire that started to grow and I could see the outline of her. Remembering what Atsila told me I brought my hands up a little and concentrated. I could feel the heat from my own little fireball. I knew I couldn't make it any bigger than what it was and I didn't need it any bigger. "Okay so what now?" I asked, looking around.
Alley raised her hands to her face "Find the girl for me please." Alley whispered, I watched in amazement as the little fires danced down her and took off forward. We both followed quickly behind them and it felt like we had been walking for a while until they started to surround someone laying on the floor in fetal position. I ran over to her and gently placed my hands on her shoulder to roll her over. "No! Please! Don't touch me!" She screamed. "Hey, hey calm down. We won't hurt you I promise." I said gently, pulling my hands away. Her eyes snapped to me and I could see she had been crying "My queen..?" She whispered. "Yes, that is me. I am here to help you. Tell me what has happened." I replied sitting in front of her. "I don't remember much. The grand elders came to us and demanded we fight but we refused. Then everything went black. I can feel my body move but I can't control anything. All the horrible things I've done.." She replied sobbing.
"No my sweet girl, you did nothing wrong. We are going to save you. Save all of you but I need you to tell me where the others are." I replied, wiping her tears off her face. "By our coven. In the mountains but it's all cloaked. My queen, they have brought in wolves. Wolves like I have never seen before. They are horrible people and have done unspeakable things to our women. Please leave me and save them. Please I am begging you." She replied pleading. "What is your name?" I asked. "Margret, now please go." Margret replied. Angered seared through me. I felt my body start to shake. I stood to my feet and looked at Alley. "Can you save these three?" I asked. "I can. I will just as soon as we get back but it will be painful for them, I have been helping Lillith." Alley replied. "I will have Lillith here within seconds. Take us back." I seethed. The anger I felt building was uncontrollable. My witches were being hurt in more ways than I could have ever thought. When I opened my eyes I snatched my phone, my hands were trembling as I dialed Lilliths number.
As soon as she picked up my voice cut through "Get to the cells with what you need. Alley will help you save these three. You have one minute to get here." I snapped ending the call. "Pythia..?" Tye called cautiously. Alley held her hand up and shook her head before her eyes glazed over shortly after I heard a growl tear through him and I knew Alley had told him what we were told. "Open that fucking cell now!" I roared. I stormed by Tye and the guards and into the cell. "A visit from the queen hers- AAHHH!" His voice was cut off when I dug the knife out of my boot and slammed it into his leg. "You have five fucking minutes to tell me what you know." I seethed inches away from his face. His eyes went wide so I twisted the blade. His screams cut through the cells, "You can try to dish out pain but when it is inflicted you can't take it? You are pathetic." I snapped turning it a little more. "I don't know anything!" He screamed. "Bullshit! You and your filthy people dare to lay hands on my witches! Taking advantage of them when they can't control their own bodies! Tell me now!" I roared.
"I didn't touch anyone! I swear! They just had us make the bombs!" He shouted in pain. I ripped the knife from his leg and grabbed him by the throat. "How many of you are there?" I asked. "Hundreds we came from overseas, all of us." He croaked out. "When are they planning on attacking us? Do they know what is being done to my witches?" I asked, squeezing tighter. "A month, on the full moon when we are the strongest and yes they do. They offered the women to us." He replied as his face started to turn red. "I want names of all the men who hurt my women. I want all the plans. I want everything before night falls do you understand me?" I said. My voice was laced with anger. He stared at me wide eyed. When he didn't reply I slammed the knife in his other leg making him scream. "Do you understand me?!" I screamed. "Yes! Yes I will tell you everything I know! Just please take the knife out!" He pleaded. "You are weak." I said as I ripped the knife back out.
I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders and I tensed up before I realized Tye was pulling me out of the cell. I looked over to see Alley and Lillith standing in front of my three witches as they were mumbling words. Their screams pierced my ears and I felt Tyes grip on me tighten a little bit. "It's almost done." Tye whispered in my ear. A bright light exploded in the cell and I had to cover my eyes. When the light went away all three witches were unconscious laying on the floor. "I will have them moved to rooms in the house. They will need as much rest as possible." Alley said with a soft smile. I nodded my head not trusting the sound of my own voice. I dropped the knife to the floor and pushed my way in the cell where I knelt down beside them. I could feel my heart break for my women. They have suffered far more than I thought. I brushed the hair out of Margrets face and looked at her before I looked at the other woman. "I want them tested when they wake." I whispered. "I will have Julie visit all three of them but I will tell her what Margret said." Alley said softly.
No one deserves to go through such a thing and I could feel the hatred and anger build back up in me. "Pythia, the boys are here to move them. Take a walk with me." Tye whispered. I felt as if I couldn't move, I did not want to be away from them. Guilt flooded me, this is all my fault. None of this would have happened if I didn't choose to fight back against the elders. I felt Tye gently place his arms under mine and lift me off the ground. When I looked up I saw Jasper, Jenson and the new alphas standing in the doorway. My brothers walked up to me and wrapped me up in a hug. "Stop it sister, this is not your fault." Jasper whispered. "You did nothing wrong." Jenson added. I couldn't stop the tears that rolled down my face. "My women have been violated and it is my fault. I didn't get to them in time." I sobbed. "We will get them back." Jenson whispered. "All of them, we are going to kill every wolf that hurts them. I promise." Jasper whispered.
I backed away from them and wiped my tears away. "Please take care of them and let me know when they are awake. I want a guard at their door and a witch in the room with them." I said clearing my throat. They nodded their heads and I felt Tye wrap his arm around me. "We will get the information from him so you don't have to come back down here." Lee said gaining my attention. "We won't kill him. We will let you decide his fate." Jax added. "Thank you." I whispered. "Come my beauty, let's get you out of here." Tye whispered and he pulled me out of the cells. There was a storm swirling inside me but the one thing I wanted to do was watch the life drain from the elders and all those bastards that dared hurt my witches, I will do it even if it is the last thing I ever do.
