Chapter 22:

Pythia POV:
I didn't realize I had started crying until I felt Tye brush the tears away with his thumb. My dad cares. He has always cared. "Talk to me babe.." Tye whispered. "He cares.." Was all I could get out. "Of course he cares. Sounds like your mother didn't want you to know anything about him." Tye replied. "That is incredibly true. She would never talk about him, she knew if I found out I would kill her. I mean I did anyways but had I known this sooner I would have done to her what she did to him. How can people have so much hatred?" I stated. "Some people are like that. You didn't have much good in your life and look at you. It is knowing right from wrong." Tye replied. He honestly has a very valid point. All I had was Stony and Lillith, outside of that I had no one. I created my own happiness and clung to that. Even the full dark witches now know the difference. I picked up more fruit not really caring what I grabbed. "Eat this." Tye said handing over a muffin, the smell of it hit my nose and I swear to the goddess I think I loved the man even more. In his hand was a banana nut muffin which is the best thing that could ever be created.
I smiled at him, "You honestly know everything about me." I giggled, "It is my job to know everything about you. What makes you happy and sad, what makes you mad, favorite foods and colors and everything else. You were made for me and I was made for you. I want to know everything." He said, smiling at me. As I bit into the muffin I could almost swear I was in heaven for a split second. A small moan left my lips and when I opened my eyes I saw Tye was struggling to keep Rex back. A giggle came out next as I stood up and walked towards the door with the book in my hand. "You are such a tease you know that?" Tye grumbled, making me laugh even harder. I heard Tye running after me so I moved my feet a little more quickly to the office where I could hear people talking. Before I could get my hand on the door knob I was pulled back and felt Tye crash his lips against mine, I didn't grant him access at first until he bit my bottom lip making me gasp, we fought for dominance until he won, when he pulled back his eyes were a bright green and I knew it was Rex. "My beauty you shouldn't tease like that." Rex whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine.
"If you are good, tonight we can have some alone time." I replied, biting his lower ear, he growled in return, "Don't make me take you back to the room." Rex said, "We both know you wouldn't do that because of our child I am currently carrying, you move at my pace." I replied, smiling sweetly at him. I knew he wouldn't argue any further, "Fine. Tonight it is then." Rex said before giving Tye his control back. "That damn stupid wolf, he wasn't too rough was he?" Tye asked worriedly. "No he was not, but I did make a promise so long as he behaves." I replied. Tye slid his hand down my face before kissing my cheek. "Come, they are waiting for us." He said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me forward. As we walked in the room only a few of them looked up. Books were scattered everywhere and all the girls looked extremely focused. "They have been reading for a while." Ambrosia said as she welcomed me with a hug. "My uncle dropped the book off last night. I waited until I got here to read it with you guys." As soon as the words left my mouth everyone turned to look at me. "Well come and sit! Let's see what it says!" Alley said, smiling at me.
We walked over and I sat down on the floor next to her. I held out the book and opened the first page to see what the contents were about. "The Blessed." I read out loud. The blessed? I turned the next page to see a man and woman, the man had a white shading while the woman had a black shading, "That could be a white witch and a dark witch.'' Alley said, studying the picture. I looked all over the page until my eyes laid on words that I didn't know how to comprehend at first. "When the light meets the dark a mix of good and evil is born." Um... What does that mean? I tensed a little as I read the words over and over. Alley was scribbling something down on a note pad but I couldn't take my eyes off the words. I flipped the page and a large description was written down. I cleared my throat knowing I had everyones attention,
"The ones who are blessed are to be of one white witch and one dark witch that will have the ability to carry the good and evil with ease. They will have the ability to carry the light of white magic as well as the dark from dark magic within reason, they are the gatekeepers to hold the balance for peace. The blessed have the ability to bend all of the elements to their will for the use of good only. There should only be one blessed to lead the dark witches away from the dark magic that will bind their souls to eternal misery and in to the glory of using dark magic for good instead of evil."
As I finished reading the words I felt pale. So I am what this book is calling the blessed? "So you are a gatekeeper in holding the peace but you also have to show the others how to stay away from the type of dark magic that is meant for bad." Alley said as if she was trying to unravel a puzzle. "So it is kind of how Athea is the goddess where the good wolves stay and her sister is the holder of the true rogues. So as Alley is the leader of white witches then that should mean you are the true leader for dark witches." Stephen said. That actually kind of made sense. There has to be balance between us all. "We have time to figure all of this out but continue to read, what are the limitations on what you can and can't do?" Tye asked. Crap I forgot about that. As I turned the page there was a list of things but what caught my attention the most was the reproductions if I exceeded my limits.
