Chapter 80:
Pythia POV:
"Get everyone inside! I want everyone off this ground and safely inside. Let's go!" Alley yelled out. I had my eyes closed but I could hear people running around and part of me wanted to laugh. Alley is the cutest little thing but if that little lady said to do something everyone put their limbs into motion. I opened my eyes a little and saw Tye staring down at me. "I can literally feel you staring at me." I whispered. I watched as Tyes face turned pink, is he blushing? That is the cutest thing I have ever seen. "Sorry, you just haven't said anything or really moved so I was watching to make sure you were breathing at least." Tye replied. "Well I do feel like a dumpster truck ran over me about a hundred times." I said, groaning. "You look beautiful though." Tye replied, brushing the hair out of my face, leaving it to him to be sweet in a time like this. "Thank you, I should get up and help though." I said. "No, no, just lay here and relax for a minute. We have more than enough hands helping right now." Tye replied, placing his hand on my shoulder.
I placed my hands on my head gently and started rubbing my temples. "Are you okay?" Tye asked, leaning over me. "I'm just tired, and I have a raging headache. Did everyone get out?" I asked, looking around. Our wolves were carrying unconscious witches to a safer house. I didn't want them to be kept in a nasty cell, they deserved better than that. "Pythia? Can I get you anything? Are you injured?" Alley asked, squatting beside me. "I think I'll be fine, just need some headache medicine is all." I replied softly. "Alright let's get you inside." Tye said, picking me up. While he carried me my mind went back to the voice I had heard. I know it wasn't Athea or any of the element carriers, I know all of their voices. It couldn't have been another witch because none of us have that power dead or alive. It damn sure wasn't mine so whose voice was that? When we walked through the door Ambrosia and Beth rushed up to us. "Pythia! My goddess, come lay her down here." Ambrosia said. "I'll get some warm water and some washcloths." Beth said, running to the kitchen.
"I'm fine you guys. Really just tired." I said. "Oh hush how much of your energy did you use?" Ambrosia asked. "A lot actually. I would not recommend teleporting an entire house though." I laughed and then flinched. "Beth, could you bring some B.C. Powder for Pythia?" Alley called out. Now that stuff works absolute wonders. "Here, sit her up." Beth instructed. She placed a warm towel around my neck and opened a can of sprite and stuck a straw in it. Has she been watching what I do? How did she know I prefer that? "Now take this and wait a few minutes, I will change your towel out soon." Beth said, smiling at me. "How do you know how to do all this?" Tye asked. "Julie has been teaching me some medical stuff so I could aid when she is not around." Beth replied cheerfully. "That's great! Goddess knows we will need everyone we can get tomorrow morning." Alley stated. "First thing in the morning I want to heal them all. They will be on a very long road of recovery." I replied. "We are pulling doctors and assistants from every pack land nearby to get them all checked out as well." Alley added.
That was good news. The more people we have to help the faster we can get things over with. "Pythia, some of the witches are starting to wake up." Lillith said walking in. "What is their behavior like?" I asked. "Oddly calm. They won't speak or move, they just stare at the floor or a wall or something." Lillith replied. "That is normal for them. I don't think they will attack or anything and since we are protected by the shield then the elders can't make them do anything. Let's remove all sharp objects and place guards around their rooms." I said. "Is there anything else I can do?" Lillith asked. "Tell me how the others are doing?" I asked. "Everyone is recovering quickly, about half have fully recovered and they have been cleaning the others up." Lillith replied. I relaxed a bit more, that made me feel a lot better about everything. "You seem to be taking longer to recover, are you alright?" Lillith asked, tilting her head at me. "I am, I think I just used a lot more energy than I should have but I don't mind." I replied with a smile. She bowed her head before she walked back out of the door.
How was I able to connect to all the elements like that? I looked down and realized I couldn't see my arms or legs and fear shot through me when I remembered what happened when someone like me uses too much of them. "What's wrong?" Tye asked, looking down at me. "Okay so something happened over there and I don't know how or what or anything." I replied. "What do you mean? What happened?" Tye asked. Alley and Ambrosia were looking at me with worried faces and I scrunch my eyebrows together. "This is going to sound so weird but there was a voice, it was really soft and gentle, whoever it was encouraged me." I replied. "Was it Athea?" Alley asked. "No, I would have known it was her, and it wasn't any of the carriers and none of us witches have the power to do something like that." I replied. "What did the voice say?" Tye asked. 'She said 'Unleash your power my blessed queen.' When we got back here she said 'You did good my blessed queen''" I replied. "You're sure it wasn't anyone you know?" Ambrosia asked.
I could still remember the sound of her voice, it was not familiar to me at all. I shook my head trying to figure all of this out. "Okay what else happened?" Tye asked. "Your voice rang out not long after hers, also giving me encouragement and then something in me clicked and I could feel all the elements come together and intertwine with each other, I could see them all and then the house started to move and I could literally see where we were and how fast we were going. As soon as the house crashed down it all went away." I replied. "Do you feel any pain anywhere? Feel a change or anything?" Tye said, looking me over. "No, but I think it is best if you take me home and check my body, we all know what could happen if I use too much." I replied softly. "Shit, yeah get her home and check her. We will figure out the voice tomorrow. We have a couple hours until morning so rest." Ambrosia said worriedly. "Please can we keep a tight lid on this? I don't want anyone to freak out." I said. "Of course, go now, we will see you in a few hours okay?" Alley hugged me.
When she backed away Tye scooped me up and nearly ran out of the door. The fear started to sink in at what we could possibly find. I mean I don't want to die like that. I have so much to do and I'm not ready for that just yet. "You are going to be fine." Tye whispered in my ear as we walked through the door. "Pythia?" Jasper called out. "Hey! Where are you taking her? What's wrong with her?" Jenson called out. "I'll explain later, just keep the other three company alright?" I called back. When we got to our room Tye sat me on the bed and went to close the door. I started taking off all my clothes when I heard a growl. "Oh Rex not now! Go turn the shower on. If you behave then maybe after we save everyone else alright?" I said looking at him. He lowered his head shyly and went to the bathroom, not long after that I heard the water turn on so I stood up and walked in the bathroom to see him stripping his clothes. Now normally I would heavily turned on in this moment but right now we had more important things to do. I kept my head down as I finished taking my clothes off and I squeezed my eyes shut.
I felt Tyes fingers run across my shoulder and down my arm, "You going to keep your eyes closed?" Tye asked. "I can't look. I'm too afraid." I whispered. Tye gently pulled me forward and I heard the door to the shower open. I felt the steam hit my skin and it was soothing for me to feel. Tye took my hair down with care and stuck me under the hot water. I just stood there and let him wash my hair and my body. "You can open your eyes, my beauty, there is no discoloration, no black spots or anything. You look perfectly fine." Tye whispered. My eyes snapped open to see a smiling man in front of me. I looked down to see that he was right, there was nothing on my skin. "Now your turn to wash me, I think it's only fair since you made me put on that awful skunk spray." Tye laughed. I smacked his shoulder and quickly put him under the shower and scrubbed his entire body. When I was done and he washed off all the soap I leaned forward and sniffed him. "You smell a lot better." I giggled. A small growl came from Tye and I jerked my head up and narrowed my eyes. "Excuse me?" I said. "Not you, your brothers are really annoying me right now. Let's get out and go downstairs before my head pops off." Tye grunted.
So the boys are blowing up his mind link? "Why would they talk through the link?" I asked. "I filled them in on what happened and everything so they've been asking a lot of questions. They want to see you." Tye replied, stepping out of the shower. We quickly dried off and got dressed and made our way downstairs. "About damn time!" Jasper shouted. "Anything? Are you okay?" Jenson asked as they rushed up to me. "Boys I am fine I promise, Tye looked me over and there has been no change. I just feel a bit drained is all." I replied. "You made us worried." Jenson said, hugging me. "Don't ever do that again." Jasper added. "You two worry too much. I am the eldest. It's my job to worry about the two of you." I replied. "I'm so relieved you're okay. Do you need any more medicine?" Best asked as she walked out of the kitchen. "No sweetie, I am fine thank you." I replied smiling. "Is it okay if we crash here? We gave up our room for the others." Lee asked. I looked over the boys to see the three alphas looking very tired. "Of course, we have spare rooms. Make yourselves at home." I replied.
"We need to figure the voice thing out." Jasper said. "We will tomorrow after everything. For now we all need to get what sleep we can okay? You both have seen me and you see I am fine now I am going to sleep." I said. They nodded their heads and smiled. "We love you big sister." Jasper said. "It just scared us to think something could have happened." Jenson added. "I love you both too, now go get some rest." I replied smiling. I turned and walked back to our room hand in hand with Tye. The moment we got inside and we got under the covers, darkness welcomed me as the exhaustion from my body finally took over.
