Chapter 61:

Pythia POV:

After the others got home I quickly filled them in on what had happened and told them the plans for the night. To say they were surprised would be an understatement. I understand people have secrets but this is just insane. I went from having no family at all to having brothers now a cousin, an aunt and uncle and my dad. I had just set the table when a knock came from the front door. Brandon ran over to open it since Leia was helping me and the twins as well as Tye were overly focused on Apollo who was now rolling all over the floor. I lifted my head to see Alcide and Olivia walk in, they both looked so much happier than they did earlier in the day. "Pythia my sweet niece I can not thank you enough." Olivia said as she engulfed me in a hug. "Don't thank me. I can't even begin to express how sorry I am that you went through what you did. That was completely unfair and just flat out wrong." I replied. Olivia took a deep breath before she nodded her head. 

We didn't need to say anything, everyone had the same thoughts as I did, I have a feeling Dexter is not going to know what hit him when he gets back from his vacation. My dad and Phil arrived shortly after and going off of their reactions to everything I am assuming they already know what is going on. "Please everyone have a seat." I said smiling. Our once too big kitchen table has now been nearly overly filled, I helped Tye put Apollo in his new high chair before we took our seats. "I want to thank everyone for coming on such short notice but there are some things that need to be discussed." I said looking around. "You have our attention." My dad replied easily. "First off I want to know if anyone has any other children that we need to know about because if I come across another sibling or cousin without knowing about them someone is getting their ass kicked." I huffed. I heard Jasper try to cover his laugh with a cough and I narrowed my eyes at him.

I looked around until my eyes fell on Phil. "Oh no, don't look at me like that. I don't have any children." Phil said quickly. I knew Olivia didn't have any more so I shifted to my dad. "You three are it. Unless we have some long lost cousin or sibling this is all that is left of our family." My dad said. "No other secrets? Tell me now if there is." I stated. "Secrets? No. We have been talking about the grand elders though and what needs to be done with the elders that were caught." Olivia replied. "Those two elders will be publicly executed tomorrow. I told the three of you that I will handle them. What about the grand elders?" I asked. "They wanted to attend the execution but we told them that we would have to talk to you first." Phil replied. "You three know that it won't be a secret for long that we are all related right?" I asked. "I know Pythia, we just need to wait a little bit longer." My dad signed and truth be told I didn't like the words he just said. We all freaking look alike, there is no way we can keep this crap up and honestly I am getting tired of it.

I felt Tye rest his hand over mine, he probably felt the anger that rushed through me, "Look, this isn't going to end well with the grand elders and she should not have to hide her own family, her family she just found by the way." Tye said as he locked his eyes with my dad. "Alright I get it. We can't just out ourselves to them we still have to figure out who thinks the way they do." My dad snapped. The twins growled lowly next to us clearly not liking the tone. "Then it is war." I stated lowly. Phil and my dads eyes widened, Olivia looked as if she could care less. "I told you brothers that this would happen but no, y'all wanted to do it your way." Olivia muttered. Well that answers the thought that I just had. "We didn't want a war to happen, one has already taken place." Phil replied. "Yeah, one that we took part in. Sometimes it is necessary to establish dominance, we can not, no, we will not tolerate this bullshit anymore. I will sit through the trial but know this will end with a war." I replied. 

"When will I be summoned again?" I asked. "After the ceremony. They know the goddess will be here for that and they don't want to take the chance on pissing her off." My dad replied. "Um. Just because she will be here doesn't mean they can't piss her off at another time. They do know she literally knows everything or are they truly that stupid?" Jenson asked. I had to stifle a laugh at the way he said it.  "They think they can conceal from her." Phil replied. I mentally rolled my eyes, so they are really that stupid. No one can hide from Athea. The ceremony was a few months away so we have time to come up with some sort of plan. The only way this will truly end is to have a war. I needed to figure out a plan to keep Apollo safe as well as the other children, who would I allow to help. Not many can stand against dark magic but then again Stephen has his shield. Many things will have to go into factor with this.

Tye squeezed my hand pulling me from my thoughts. "Lillith is having everything set up for tomorrow. You sure you don't want a quick death for them?" Tye asked. "No, they will die the same way they killed my member. They burned her and for that they will burn." I replied easily. I sternly believe that if you murder someone in cold blood then you should die the same way that you killed them. You shouldn't do to people what you wouldn't want done to you. "I will go down in the morning and speak to them and see if they have anything to say for themselves." I added. "Is this like a normal thing for y'all?" Alcide asked. "Dinner every night, yes. This is the first family type dinner though." Jasper replied. "I wanted this so we could air out any more secrets. If we are to be a family then we need to be just that. No secrets, no lies."  I added. "I could get used to this though." Alcide said. "Get used to what?" I asked. "Having a family. I have issues to work out with my dad though." Alcide stated. 

That sounded fair enough, heck I punched mine in the nose I can only imagine what Alcide is going to do. "I hope all of that goes decently well." I replied. As we made small talk I watched the mood in Alcide change which made me overly curious. "Alcide what is wrong?" I asked. His eyes glazed over and I knew he was talking to someone, seconds later a growl tore through his throat taking us by surprise. "Hey now, watch it." Jason snapped. Everyone had their eyes on him waiting for him to come back to speak to us. "Fuck" Alcide murmured. "What is happening?" Tye asked harshly. "It's my dad, he knows I found Olivia and that we are here. He is mad and on his way." Alcide seethed. "Jasper, get Apollo upstairs. NOW." I half shouted. It was like a fire was lit under Jaspers ass, he jumped up and picked up and ran up the stairs. "I've told the others to be on the lookout. No one will harm him though." Tye said. 

What right did his father have to be pissed. I looked at Olivia who went pale white and that angered me to the fullest. I stood from my chair ignoring everyones look. I marched outside and perked my ears and hoped I could catch something. Sure enough growls came from the field. I jerked my body towards the sound, I could hear my name being called but I was beyond furious as I approached. I seen two wolves that were surrounded, the bigger one was snarling and snapping while the smaller one was tucked under him growling. Wolves parted as I walked to the middle, the wolfs eyes laid on me and he let out a deep growl, one I did not appreciate. "Don't you fucking growl at me!" I roared. "How dare you come to these lands and think you hold any power, shift now!" I yelled, surprising myself with how much power pushed through me. "We will make you." Tye growled. Still the wolves kept to their growls but they were softer than before. I could feel all the alpha men beside me with the ladies. 

Tye gently pushed me behind him as he took a defensive stance. At the same time each alpha growled incredibly powerful, the two that stood before us fought to keep on their feet but couldn't handle the power under eight alphas combined into one. When they shifted back I could see pure anger on his face, the woman behind him looked ready to attack anyone that came at them. I stepped around Tye and took a few steps forward making them focus on me. "What business do you have here?" I asked. "Where is Alcide?" He snapped. "What do you want?" Alcide asked as he stood next to me. His dad took a step forward and was met with deathly growls. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. You have zero right to come here and demand anything." I stated. "You have no right to tell me how I speak to my son." Dexter snapped back. He took another step forward and I took a step forward. I would not let him touch anyone here, no matter what I have to do. The look on his face told me he didn't come to just have a friendly chat. 

I watched his every move, his eyes scanned the crowd around him before they stopped on someone behind me. I didn't have to look to know he was eyeing Olivia. A growl ripped through him and his eyes narrowed. "You just couldn't stay gone could you." Dexter said. I heard Olivia gasp behind me before a growl rumbled through Alcide. "You told her I died? You treated her like dirt was better than she is? You lied to me! Don't you fucking growl at my mother!" Alcide roared before he shifted and charged at his dad. Tye yanked me backwards just before he shifted and stood over me. I couldn't take my eyes off the now two wolves that had collided. I could feel the hate rolling off of Alcide and the anger rolling off of his dad. I shifted my eyes between them and who I am assuming is his wife. Rage came across her face just before she shifted and charged behind Alcide. A large calico wolf rammed into her side pinning her down by her throat. That must be Rose, Alleys wolf, wow she is truly breathtaking. The other wolf squirmed relentlessly and Rose let out one of the most frightening growls I have ever heard.

The wolf beneath her immediately stopped moving. A loud yelp pulled my eyes back towards the father and son, Alcides wolf had his fathers pinned down by his throat. Oh my goddess is he going to kill him? HIs dad shifted back and soon after Alcide shifted. Warriors surrounded them and shackled them before they took them to the cells, his dad was beaten and bloodied. I watched as Alcide ran to Olivia who was sobbing uncontrollably. He wrapped her in a hug before they walked back to the house. This was not how this family dinner was supposed to go.
