Chapter 95:
Pythia POV:
We were all seated around the living room trying to figure out what we were going to do with the two of them. Obviously we weren't going to turn them out, she couldn't get what she needed to have a healthy child if we did that to them. "Can I not just do what I have done with the others?" Alley asked. "No, she can't, their souls are already pure. There is nothing for her to wash clean." Delilah quickly said. "Delilah said no, since their souls are already pure there is nothing to wash off. I believe since a ritual was held another has to be held to reverse what was done." I replied. "Is there anything we can do now to slow down the growth process?" Tye asked. "I could have some herbs and stuff mixed up, it'll slow the growth and make them a lot more comfortable than they are." I replied. "I'll go through all of the books, there has to be something we can do." Jack said. "I'll help. More hands make less work." Sammie added. "Lillith, can you and a few others make something to slow the growth of a wolf?" I asked through the link. "Yes, I've already heard about the situation and we are already working on something. I also have a few others going through the books we have here." Lillith replied. "I'd be lost without you." I giggled.
"Lillith is looking on our side, she is already looking for something in our books as well as making something for them." I said quickly. "This changes a few things, they said that some of them came over to start a new life. How are we supposed to know who is who now?" Stephen asked. That is a good question. When they come down we need to figure all of this out because if it is a large number then we may actually stand a really good chance at ending this sooner than it begins. "They also said that isn't all of them." Ambrosia said. "How damn many of them are there? That area isn't all that large that I know of." Josh grumbled. "That is a task we will take on after all of this. They haven't made a fuss since they have split." Alley replied. Ever since we have learned about what they were doing over there they have been trying to figure out a way to control them. We needed to keep the balance with the humans because they did stuff that we needed. "Right now let's focus on this, we need to figure this out and another plan for the others." I said. "Alright, I have looked her over. She is malnourished and needs rest, he is under weight as well. I will be coming by once a week to check on her." Julie said, grabbing our attention.
I turned to look and saw that Angie and Brent stood side by side behind Julie. "Yes, of course. We will get them both where they need to be." Alley replied with a smile. "Please, come and sit." I gestured for them to come in and sit with us. I could feel all the emotions roll off of them as they got closer, I knew they were unsure of what was going to happen. They have only heard rumors of us and this is a normal reaction for those who don't know us. Ambrosia and I have always been known to be ruthless most of the time but that was back before we met our mates and had families. "We need to know how many came over to be free. We don't want to hurt anyone who just wants a fresh start." I said as they sat down. "It was only a small amount of us omegas. The others have enough power to not be treated badly." Brent replied. "What are the others ranked at?" Tye asked. "Truthfully we aren't labeled like you all over here are. When we come of age and get our wolves we get thrown into a ring. The strongest are labeled as betas while the weakest are labeled as omegas." Angie replied.
What kind of hell are they actually living in? How can they function without the proper stuff? "Wait so there is one alpha and the rest are just betas and omegas?" Stephen asked. "Yes, if someone feels that they could be a better alpha they can challenge them but there is only one per area." Angie replied. "How many areas are over there?" Alley asked. "At least five, I can't remember a day where we weren't at war with the others." Brent replied. Mixed emotions started swirling in the room, anger and disgust stood out the most. "We are looking for a way to reverse whatever the elders did but for now I'm having herbs made up for both of you to stop the growth and ease whatever pain you might be feeling." I said looking at them. "We really appreciate what you all have done but we really don't have to stay." Angie whispered. "Nonsense, you both are staying and that is that. I don't want to hear another word about it." Ambrosia said. They both looked terrified of her which made me want to laugh. "You both seem so scared, you can ask us anything." Alley said, trying to ease their worries.
They both looked at each other, probably trying to figure out if we meant it or not. "We heard about a great white witch, we heard she is more reasonable and level headed and kind. Do you know where we can find her?" Angie asked, looking around. The smile that came to Alleys face could have broken it. "I think I know where to find her." Stephen said with a smile as he stood closer to Alley. "Oh now, let's not play that game. The woman you are looking for is right here. My name is Alley." Alley said, smiling. Shock registered on their faces and they quickly lowered their heads. "None of that, we don't treat others less than what we are here. You show us respect and we will show you all respect." Alley quickly said. It made me wonder what exactly they all had been through over there to fear anyone in a higher standing of power than they are. "That is Ambrosia, she is the vampire queen, she is honestly really nice I promise." Alley said, pointing to Ambrosia. They looked over and I watched as Ambrosia softened her features a bit and offered a warm smile. "You both have already met Pythia, the queen of the dark witches, you see us three ladies are related. Pythias mate is my brother and Ambrosias mate is my brother." Alley said, trying to clear up any confusion.
I could see the wheels turning in their heads. "The other ladies are lunas but are the chosen six and those are their alpha mates. Aside from Ambrosia and I they make up the wolf and white witch council." I said making sure they knew who everyone was. "We weren't aware you were all related. The last thing we heard was you and Queen Ambrosia were fighting or had gotten into a fight." Brent said, making us laugh. "Ah yes, you see there was a war before this and our little great white witch over there called for an alliance between myself and Pythia. We did get into a fight, I needed to see her strength before I made the decision, and please just call me Ambrosia" Ambrosia said laughing. Now that was a fond memory that I could remember well, I watched in the tree line as those two went back and forth with each other. My oh my how far the three of us have come since then, we were slightly worried Alley wouldn't accept us but, we have never been shown the kindness that she has shown us before. "So you all have wolves? Elements?" Brent asked. "Well most of us do, I am also part white witch so I can do basics of things. I can't do what Alley can do." I replied.
"Elements are nice and easy to manage, it's the wolf part we are having to learn." Ambrosia muttered. I wondered how her and Sage were getting along. "You will all need everything you can to fight those beasts." Angie said quickly. "We are prepared for them don't you two worry." I said quickly. ''You don't understand what they are or what those old witches said about them. They are like nothing I have ever heard of." Angie replied. "We know exactly who they are. My wolf, her name is Delilah and she used to be with the moon goddesses sister, there was another realm that those things were kept in that Delilah watched over. She has told us about them." I said, gauging their reactions. I heard the front door open, Angie and Brent nearly came out of their skin from jumping so hard. "You both are safe, it's just Lillith. She is one of my witches." I said reassuringly. I turned to see that Lillith had a basket full of stuff, "Okay so this is what all we made." Lillith said, kneeling on the floor while placing the basket on the floor in front of her. "Since you are pregnant we figured we would mix it in with food too and see what all you liked, these are testers for you. Whatever you like, write down and we can make more for you." Lillith said. I looked over to Angie and noticed she was stunned.
"These fruits here have been injected, this will also help keep you hydrated too. The others like the brownies, cookies and bread are super good too. This here is tea packets for the both of you, I had them made for daily things, like energy in the morning and then to help you both sleep at night comfortably. You both need to drink at least three a day, it'll soothe your wolves too." Lillith said picking up everything and watching her made my heart swell a little bit. "These containers here are the herbs we used for this. They are completely healthy and I got the go ahead from Julie so you can rest your mind knowing it won't hurt the baby." Lillith said, patting Angies leg. "Thank you so much.." Angie whispered, I could see the tears that were brimming her eyes. Her aura started glowing brighter and that alone told me how grateful she was. Even though they came from a horrific place they came to escape and gain acceptance and here on our lands they will always be accepted. "Thank you Lillith." I said with a smile. "No problem at all! Like I said, let me know which one you liked the best and I'll get you more." Lillith said before she stood up and walked out of the house.
I turned slightly to look at Brent and Angie, "Now you both will be housed with us since this one is full, we have a few extra spare rooms and will show you which one you will be using. I want the two of you to remember everything you overheard and I want you to write it down to remember it so we can figure out a better way to end this before it starts." I said looking at them. "I can take them." Beth chimed in, "I'll go with you." Jasper said standing up. "So you two are twins? Are you related to her?" Brent asked, pointing at me. We must have forgotten to explain that part. "Yes, those are my little brothers. That's Beth, Jaspers mate. This is Jenson and that is Alex." I said not really sure if they wanted their business out there. "He is my mate." Alex said proudly, making Jenson blush. "We will take them over so you can finish your day." Jenson said, patting my shoulder. "Make sure she takes it easy, get them more clothes and stuff as well." I said. They stood to their feet and Angie bent to pick up the basket. "Don't even think it." Brent warned as he bent and grabbed the basket. "I don't think miss Julie is one to make mad." Brent mumbled, making us all laugh. "Julie is a force to take on, it's better to follow her rules." Stephen replied.
As they walked out I turned my attention back to the others. "We need to figure this our quickly. The fight isn't too far off and I want to help them as soon as I can." I said. "We will, maybe we can talk to Athea or Lucinda? It's worth a shot if we don't find anything out by the end of the day." Alley replied. That might actually work if we don't find anything. With the fight being so close we needed to figure something out soon to help them, those herbs will only last them so long. A growl ripped through the room making us all look at Stephen, his eyes were swirling like a storm while Alleys were a bright red. Oh shit, that didn't look too good at all. "What is happening?" Ambrosia asked, looking alarmed. "Someone is scraping across the shields." Stephen growled out. "Alert everyone, get the kids to safety. Pythia how have you come along with the invisible spell?" Tye asked quickly while everyone else's mind linked. "I guess we are going to find out. Where is it happening at?" I asked. "North, we need to go north now, two maybe three pressure points." Alley replied through gritted teeth. I have never seen her act like this before so whatever it was must have been hurting the both of them and we needed to find out what it was and quickly.
