Chapter 73:

****Jumping back in time to when the men were grilling****

Tye POV:

I started seasoning the steaks when Stephen and Alley walked up. "Are you ready big brother?" Alley asked with a smile. "I have never been more ready for anything in my life." I replied. "You got the ring right?" Stephen asked. I rolled my eyes at him. "How could I forget the ring?" I replied sarcastically. "I have everyone setting everything up so we need to think of something to get her moving without causing a suspicion." Alley said. "Easy, I will excuse myself and then come back saying people were poisoned. She won't think twice about moving." Jasper replied. "She might kick your ass afterwards though." I warned. "It will be worth it though." Jasper replied. Fair point well made. "Is there anything else we need to get done?" Stephen asked. "Someone please record it. This is a moment I want captured." I replied. "Done, I will have a few people record it from different angles and I can put it on a disc or something." Alley replied. "Thank you for this." I said hugging her. "No need to thank me. I am proud of you Tye. Now I am going to go inside and see my sister so if you will excuse me." Alley said as she walked towards the door.

I took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves. It has been a hell of a week planning this out. I've had to sneak off randomly at night to go and pick out the ring and I finally found one that suits her perfectly. Ambrosia has helped me keep her busy so she would suspect anything, the last thing I wanted to happen was her thinking I was doing something else. "Are you ready for this?" Ambrosia asked as she walked up. "I am. Thank you for your help." I replied. "You can repay that me by watching Artemis one night for us." Ambrosia said. "Yeah we want a night to ourselves before the shit storm happens." Jackson added. "Consider it done then." I replied. "We will keep Apollo tonight too." Jackson said. "Thanks man. I really appreciate that." I replied. "Well I don't need my nephew hearing goddess knows what will happen." Ambrosia stated. "Um. Can we stay too?" Jenson asked. "Of course, you can help with the kids. Pack a bag quietly and take them over. You boys know where your rooms are." Ambrosia replied just as she went to walk inside. 

"Who would have thought you would be the first to get married." Jackson said, slapping my shoulder. "That's because you two pansies haven't grown a set yet." I replied with a sarcastic smile. "Hey now, our two are currently pregnant. The last thing they will want to do is plan a wedding while planning birth." Stephen replied. "Yeah yeah, you two better figure that shit out because I know Alley really wants a wedding. Always has since she was little and I know Ambrosia wants one too. Pythia tells me about it all the time." I said looking at the two of them. "Boys, how is the training coming along?" Stephen asked to change the subject. "Actually really well. Everyone is making a great amount of progress in a short time. We just need to know what we are up against." Jenson replied. "Has anyone found where they are just yet?" Jasper asked. "Not yet, I believe they are cloaking themselves somehow. Our trackers can't catch a scent at all." Stephen replied. "We need to send out a mixed group. Vampires run at a high speed and the witches can get way up in the trees, maybe they can see stuff we simply can't" Jackson said.

That actually is not a  bad idea. We just need to find people that will want to do that. "How is Pythia healing? I noticed she still has those red marks on her." Stephen asked. A growl came out just thinking about her getting hurt that badly. "It's a lot better than it was at first." I replied. "Look man I can't imagine what you saw but keep your mind at ease knowing we will get to get those bastards." Jackson said. "It was horrible. Feeling her emotions go crazy and then seeing her on fire. On fucking fire man, The scream she let out when she was touched made me feel things I had never ever wanted to feel in my life." I replied. No one said anything, they just stared but I could see the hate in their eyes. "She is fine now though but I swear to goddess if I see any of those fuckers before we even fight I am shredding them limb from limb." I growled out. "Understandable. If we catch one you get the first go at them that is for sure." Stephen replied, patting me on the back.

"You know you can always talk to us right? I know it is a girly thing to do but you can't keep horrible thoughts like that to yourself." Jenson said. "I know. It's hard to talk about truthfully." I replied. "When you are ready. No rush, usually it helps me to punch a punching bag, relieving all the stress that builds up." Jasper said. "That I might actually do, seems better than talking about it anyways." I replied. "Tye, we have everything almost ready to go. Is there anything else we need to do?" Leia asked. "Alley will probably ask that you be one of the ones to record it all so please do." I replied. "You got it man. We will hide everyone in the tree line." Brandon said. "Have a few people run away from the area so she doesn't get suspicious too soon." I replied. "That is a good idea. Just keep us updated through the link so we can be ready." Leia replied. "I will. How is everyone?" I asked. "They are good, very excited about what is about to happen. It isn't often that wolves get married." Brandon replied. 

Now that is true, as they walked away and I turned to Jasper. "You ready?" I asked. "I am always ready." Jasper replied. "What are you ready for?" Jackson asked. "You are about to find out." Jasper replied easily. As I grabbed the steaks off the grill my mind wandered off picture. Pythia is a white gown walking towards me, seeing her stand before me with that smile that melts even the coldest of hearts, her accepting me as her husband and not just her mate. What more could a man ask for? She will be stunning and I needed Rex to keep me on my feet and not pass out. "We are not passing out. I am not missing seeing my beauty in a beautiful gown." Rex sounded off. "Well I guess you better make sure I don't pass out then." I replied back. "If you pass out I am taking over and you can miss everything." Rex snapped. "Absolutely not. You can have a few dances with her though." I said easily. "Like you have a choice. My beauty will want to dance with me because I am her favorite wolf." Rex stated confidently before he sunk to the back of my mind. As we walked towards the door my excitement started to set in. Soon I will ask her to be my wife and this was going to be one of the greatest moments of my life....

Pythia POV:

So many thoughts were running around my head. How did anyone get through the shield? Who was poisoned? If someone had ill intentions they should have fallen sick by now. I saw a few people running around but it didn't seem like they were panicking. What is going on? The closer I got the more clearly I could see, rose petals were laid out on the ground with small candles randomly in them. I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around to see a very shy looking Tye smiling at me. "What? What is going on?" I asked a little breathless. He didn't say a word, he walked up to me and grabbed my hand gently pulling me forward. I couldn't find words to speak as I looked around and saw everything. Wait so no one was poisoned? When we got to the middle Tye turned and faced me. His hands started to slightly shake and his nerves were all over the place. 

He gently placed his hand on my cheek and planted a small kiss on my lips. "Tye?" I whispered. My heart started beating ridiculously fast as he cleared his throat. "Pythia, my green eyed beauty. I have waited so long to find my mate and I did at the worst possible time but I thank the moon goddess everyday that she brought you to me that day. You made Rex and I the happiest we have ever been and then we had our son and he is absolutely perfect in every way." Tye said in one breath. I could feel tears start to build up with each word he said. "I love introducing you as my mate but, I can't imagine going on much more longer without being able to call you my wife as well." Tye said with a wide smile just before he dug into his pocket and got down on one knee, my breath caught in my throat when it finally hit me on what was happening right now. He is proposing.. to me. "Pythia, will you do me the honor of marrying me?" Tye asked. Holy crap! I could feel the warmth of the tears run down my face as a wide smile came across my face. "Yes, yes of course!" I shouted as I tried to catch my breath.

Tye jumped to his feet, wrapped his arms around me and picked me up. I crashed my lips to him and I could feel all the emotions roll off of him at once. The sound of people clapping and cheering broke our kissing session. I looked around to see so many people surrounding us. How did I miss all these people? Tye put me down on my feet and grabbed my left hand, he carefully slid on a blue and green gem with a silver band. It wasn't too big nor too small, it was absolutely perfect. "Congratulations you two!" Alley said as she walked up to us. "How did you do all of this? So no one was poisoned?" I asked. "Well, I've been planning this for a week now and we finally got everything set up. No, no one has been poisoned, we had to think of something so you wouldn't guess anything. I apologize." Tye said, kissing my cheek. "How about we keep Apollo tonight so you two can have a little privacy." Ambrosia said smiling. "Are you sure?" I asked. "Of course! Jasper, Jenson and Beth will be staying with us as well. They are already taking their night bags over." Ambrosia replied. 

Tye wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him, "I have another surprise at home." Tye whispered in my ear. "Okay gross you two go before I vomit." Alley said scrunching her nose up making me giggle. "We will see you guys in the morning." Tye announced just before he picked me up over his shoulder swatting my butt making me yelp. "You know I can walk just fine you know!" I giggled. "I know but I do so enjoy this view." Tye replied laughing. "Pervert!" I laughed. A few people laughed at the site of us, I pulled my hand back and smacked Tye on the butt, he let out a soft growl that made me blush. "Oh my green eyed beauty we are going to show you true love tonight." Rex growled out. Oh hell this seems like it is going to be an interesting night.
