Chapter 48:
Pythia POV:
Brandon left last night with a few others so that he can go and see if Leia is in fact his mate. Alley also went into labor yesterday, we have been waiting to see the twins. She is the first of us to go into labor and that made me happy and nervous at the same time. I know she was hurting and heck I couldn't blame her for being so ready to give birth. "We have babies! A boy and a girl!" Stephen shouted happily. "Oh goddess congratulations! How is Alley? How are the babies?" I asked. "She is doing good, the babies are doing really good. Both in very good health. We have Ashlee Marie and William Douglas." Stephen replied. There was such a bright light in his eyes. "Y'all can come in and see them if y'all want to." Stephen stated. "Well move because I want to see me niece and nephew and check on Alley." I said pushing by him. I could hear Tye laughing behind me. I walked through the door and seen Alley had a baby in each arm. Tears started to fill my eyes.
I slowly walked over to her with a huge smile on my face. "How are you?" I whispered. She looked to be doing okay but more tired than anything. "Rose helped a bit but now I just feel really tired." Alley replied. Both babies were staring right up at her like she was the most fascinating person in their little lives. "Would you like to hold one?" Alley asked. "Yes please." I said reaching for little Ashlee, I cradled her closely and when her little eyes focused on me, her eyes were a piercing blue just like Stephens, like were more like an ocean which made me curious but time will tell if she ends up having a gift. "She is perfect." I said, smiling down at her. I looked up to see that Tye had William in his arms. He looked mesmerized by his nephew. I can already tell that these two will be a powerhouse when they get older, being surrounded by all of us all of our kids will be. "When do you guys get to go home?" Tye asked. "Tomorrow morning as long as everything is okay." Alley replied. I could tell she was absolutely drained.
"We will go and let you rest up. If you need anything let me know, I can make up some herbal calming and healing tea if you would like." I offered. "That actually sounds really nice, Pythia thank you." Alley replied. "Tye, can you make sure everyone is out of the house for at least the first day so we can adjust?" Stephen asked as he took William from him. "I sure can, is there anything else we need to do for you guys?" Tye asked. "Alley gave a list to Beth, but if I think of anything I will let you know." Stephen replied. "I will check with Beth and see if she needs any help." I stated. "Speaking of Beth, she can stay in the house. She has been such an amazing helper." Alley replied. I handed little Ashlee back to her and Tye and I walked out. "I wonder what Apollo will look like." I said rubbing my belly. "I hope he has your eyes truthfully." Tye replied. "Why is that?" I asked. "Because then we all will have the same color, well when Rex comes out." Tye said smiling. That is a good point, I hope he looks like us both but I guess time will tell and we don't have much more time to wait.
I quickly sent a text to Lillith to have her get some stuff made for Alley and to drop it off at the hospital with instructions. When I looked back up I saw three figures walking towards us. It didn't take me long to realize that it was my dad, my dad and my uncle. "Well this is a surprise." I whispered. Tye already locked his eyes on them but at least this time he didn't tense up. "Pythia, how are you?" Phil asked. "I'm doing good, ready to have this baby." I replied smiling. "Pythia, my niece I am so happy I get to finally see you! My name is Olivia." My aunt said as she hugged me. "It's good to finally meet you too! I wish it was under different circumstances though." I replied. "My daughter, and son. We came to talk to you both if you have the time." My dad said with a small smile. "Of course, let's go around back and sit down." I replied. As we walked around back. no one said a word and I couldn't stop thinking of what they needed to talk to me about. "So what has brought you all here today?" Tye asked as we sat down.
They all looked at each other and it was then that I saw the similarities from them. "The grand elders will be more difficult that we originally thought." My dad replied. "Kathrine can be swayed but the others will have to be taken down throughout time." Olivia said. "We were not expecting Athea to show up but I am glad she did. She saved you from the ultimate death." My dad said. Shit. They were going to kill me. They already had made the decision to kill me. "Well I will be sure to thank her then." I replied. "They will be watching you very closely to see if they can get you on anything else." Phil said slowly. Of course they are. "Well then I must be on my best behavior then." I replied. "Are they trying to find you? Since Athea told them she is half white witch." Tye asked. "They did try but Olivia helped me cloak myself, they did a locator spell that took them to a dingy cemetery so they think I am dead." My dad replied.
That is a relief that he is hidden for now at least. "They will be waiting for you to have your son before summoning you again. We need to take out Damien and Storm somehow." Olivia said. "Why? What have they done?" I asked. "They were caught plotting against you and Tye, they were going to use the paralyzing smoke but you surrounded yourselves with Stephens shield so they can't do that now." Phil replied. I knew it. I knew they were going to try something. Anger shot through me, "Who caught them?" I asked through gritted teeth. "A lower witch, she has disappeared and we fear they have killed her but not before she told Lillith. We spoke to her just before we came over here." My dad replied. So they caught and killed one of my witches? I will kill them myself. "We have Stony trying to locate her, when we find her and figure out what happened Damien and Storm will be killed and since they killed one of your witches you may decide on what happens to them without the elders permission." Phil said.
