Chapter 40:
Pythia POV:
"Get everything unloaded and I will go and grab the key." Phil said as he turned to walk through the doors. Ambrosia and I waited by the car while the boys unloaded everything. When we walked in the doors the smell of the place was warm and welcoming, it had an all white interior giving it the peace feeling. We entered a large elevator and Phil pressed the penthouse suit button at the top and slowly we descended upwards. I knew my dad would be waiting for us and for some reason that made me nervous. Tye laced his hand with mine and I started to calm down, it seemed like we moved slowly even though I could see the numbers moving at a decent speed. I heard the ding and looked forward, when the doors opened I was absolutely stunned by what I had seen, large bay windows with a balcony, the furniture was a dark grey with a large TV mounted in the middle of the wall, a larger TV stand just beneath it with books stacked on it. I looked over to see the kitchen that had a stainless steel two door fridge that had a pull out freezer at the bottom. Beautiful dark brown cabinets that lined the counters.
Light fixtures that hung down from the ceiling, I couldn't wait to see what the bedrooms and stuff looked like, a movement on the far left hallway caught my attention and my father walked out with a big smile on his face. "Ah there you all are, I have been waiting. Pythia my daughter come here." My dad said holding his arms out. I slowly walked over to him and wrapped my arms tightly around him, it seems like I have been waiting my entire life for this moment. To finally be able to hug my own dad. I stepped back with a smile on my face, "You are just as beautiful as ever, and my how my grand baby has grown!" He laughed as he placed a hand on my belly. "It's a boy, Apollo is his name." I whispered. "Apollo. You both have picked an amazing name. I can't wait to meet him." My dad said and I could swear if his smile got any bigger his face would split right in half. He looked over my shoulder and took a deep breath, "Phil. Always good seeing you brother. Tye my son I am happy to be seeing you again." My dad said as he walked by me to shake Tyes hand. "Ambrosia, Jackson. I'm glad you both made it." My dad said hugging Ambrosia and shaking Jacksons hand.
"Alright brother, what is going to be the process?" Phil asked. "The meeting will start at Nine in the morning, I will pick you all up at eight. Dress nicely and be polite. They will go over the details and ask you some questions and then they will let you ask any questions you may have." My dad replied. That sounded reasonable. "Is there anything that I need to know before I go?" My dad asked, looking around. "The others will meet us there." Tye replied. "The others?" My dad asked. "Yes, the council for the white witches and wolves. Since I am a wolf and she is mated to me she also falls under them." Tye replied coolly "Ah, now that will be an interesting twist I can't wait to see. Very well. I will let you all get settled and I will see y'all in the morning." My dad said, looking at me. "May I have a word?" He asked looking at Tye. "I'll go unpack everything, take y'alls time." Tye said smiling. I followed my dad outside to the balcony feeling a little nervous.
My dad turned to look at me, his eyes resting on mine. "I do not want you to worry Pythia, your aunt and I have been making progress and should anything happen a few of the guards will get you all to safety. I told them to wear dark green undershirts to their suits. Look for them and know that you are safe." My dad said with a little sadness in his eyes. "Why do you sound so sad?" I asked, tilting my head to the side. "I am just worried about it all, we just reconnected and I would hate for it to end so soon. Somehow someway we will survive this all." My dad replied. "We will, when you meet the others you will know why I am so confident about my answer." I replied, smiling at the thought. "I will see you in the morning, get some rest okay?" My dad stated wrapping his arms around me. "I will, I'll be okay I promise." I replied. The moment we stepped away he disappeared. I stayed outside for a few more moments before heading inside to have a warm soothing bath before we all had dinner and went to bed.
