Chapter 94:

Pythia POV:

As we walked through the fields everyone had stopped and looked in our direction, "Take them to get a shower, some clean clothes and I will have their food prepped and ready for them when they are brought to the cells." Tye said. "What is going on?" Alley asked, walking up to us. I noticed how the entire way here neither of them fully lifted their heads, they held onto each other but didn't make a single sound. "They were outside of the shield, they said they came to us for help." Jasper replied. "Where did they come from?" Alley asked, focusing more on the woman. "They came from the elders. They said they had denied a second wolf and they were thrown out." I replied. Alley looked at me for a brief moment before looking back at them. "How could they kick her out knowing she is pregnant." Alley muttered causing the woman to look up. She didn't speak, she was shocked that Alley took notice even when she tried to hide herself. "They haven't eaten or showered so that is where we are taking them and then to the cells." Tye said quickly.

Alley looked at her brother with mixed emotions, "No. Bring them to the office, I don't feel any ill intentions from either of them. All I see is sheer fear and taking them to the cells, especially her in her condition could make them shut down. I will call on Julie to come and check her vitals as well as the baby." Alley said gently. I honestly hadn't thought of that, Delilahs anger has clouded my ability to see their intentions. "Come inside and we will get everything handled, I just called Julie as well as the others." Alley said, turning around. We started walking forwards when the other ladies and alphas started walking towards the house. When we got inside we ushered them up the stairs, "Beth please get them some clothes. Comfortable loose ones for her." I whispered. She nodded her head and walked the other direction. We got to the spare bedroom and I held my hand up, "Tye and I will watch over them." I said gently. "Alright. We will guard the door then." Jasper replied. "We will make sure Beth gets in to bring the clothes." Jenson added before the three of them walked back out of the door.

I carefully walked up to them and took the cuffs off and put them in my back pocket. "I figured the two of you would rather shower together instead of being separated. There are clean towels in there with shampoo, body wash and whatever else you may need." I said. They still did not raise their heads which told me they had completely submitted to us. "If you need anything else just let us know and we will get it for you." Tye added. They slowly walked off and into the bathroom before the water came on."What do you think?" I asked Tye through the link, I didn't want the other two to hear what we were talking about. "I'm not sure honestly. I don't feel any bad vibes from them, they have submitted everything." Tye replied. "We will just have to talk to them and see what the hell happened. I never thought anyone would rebel against them but she is pregnant so I can see why they did." I replied. "From the looks of it she has been pregnant for a few months now, maybe longer. Why were they trying to make her fight anyway?" Tye asked. "They are heartless people." I replied.

A knock on the door got my attention. "It's me, I have the clothes." Beths little voice rang out. I walked over to the door and opened it enough for her to come in. "Have they said anything?" Beth asked. "No, not yet." I replied taking the clothes from her. "I'll go and make sure the food is coming along, if you need me just let me know." Beth said quickly before she walked back out of the door. I walked towards the bathroom but stopped when I heard the woman speak. "They are going to kill us Brent." She sobbed. "I would never let anyone hurt you so long as I live. Please don't cry and think the worst. If what I heard was true they will hear us out Angie." Brent replied. "We are already dying, our wolves are hurting." Angie said, I could hear her hiccup between breaths and I felt my heart sink a little. What did they do to them? "I will find a way to reverse this." Brent replied. I knocked on the door gently, "I have clothes for the both of you." I called out. I heard the shower door open and close before I felt the door knob start to move, it opened just slightly and i pushed the clothes through. "Thank you." Angie whispered before closing the door.

I turned back and looked at Tye and his face told me that he heard what they were saying. I walked over and stood next to Tye, he wrapped his arm around my waist and together we waited for them to come out. I could hear them shuffling around in the bathroom, probably looking for what they needed. "Delilah, are you calm now?" I asked. "I am. I apologize for my behavior." Delilah replied. "Don't apologize, you were protecting us all." I said easily. In truth she was, I knew if she ever felt threatened her reaction would be just that. I heard the bathroom door start to open and I focused my attention on the two that started to walk out. They looked and smelled much better than they did when we first met them. I could take in their features a lot better, she had soft brown hair and nearly pasty white skin with hazel eyes. Brent had sandy blonde hair with blue eyes. They kept their heads lowered and they didn't hardly move. "Please don't lower your heads, look at us." I said. When they finally looked up I saw nothing but fear, her eyes were slightly red from crying and she kept her hands over her belly protectively.

"I bet the two of you are hungry, but before we go do either of you have anything to say?" I asked. "We appreciate the shower and clean clothes." Angie whispered. "You are most welcome." I replied. "Let's go get you two some food, it's ready in the study. Now when we get in there you need to understand the amount of alphas and lunas that will be there as well." Tye said. "They will not harm either of you though, they are the council." I added when I saw both of them tense up. "Come with us." Tye said. We turned and started walking out of the door and the twins walked behind us so that they were in the middle of everyone, when we got to the study and I opened the door to see all the alphas including Lee, Ryan and Jax followed by the women. There was a slight tension in the air but everyone stayed in their place. "Have a seat over on the couch, there is some food on that table." I said pointing to the small love seat couch that was up against the wall. They walked quickly to the couch and sat down.

"Alright let's figure all of this out, so you both refused to have a second wolf and so they kicked y'all out?" Stephen asked. "Yes alpha." Brent replied. Stephen turned and looked at me and I shook my head. "Why are your wolves so big if you don't have a second one?" Collin asked. "The old witches did some ritual to enlarge our wolves but not everyone made it out of it. We were omegas and our wolves aren't meant to be this big. It's essentially killing us." Brent replied. "How many died?" Chloe asked. "Five, maybe six other omegas. They didn't care because we are considered weak." Angie replied softly. "Were you two there when they brought in the other wolves?" I asked. "No, they told us what those things were and they would be coming soon. They described it as a possession, we didn't want any part of that." Brent replied. "What do either of you know?" Ambrosia asked. "We don't know much, we weren't allowed to train or anything. We cooked and cleaned up, we didn't sleep that much because we were always busy doing whatever they told us to do." Brent replied. "We know that they are going to try to plan a surprise attack of some sorts.. I didn't hear too much but they have a large map of the area and everything." Angie added. That didn’t surprise me at all. Every witch has a lot of different maps for spells.

“Did they actually make all of you come over?” Alley asked. “No. This isn’t even half the wild population we have over there but some of us omegas wanted to come and figure out a way to break free of them. We can’t do that back home.” Angie replied. Well shit. So that isn’t all of them like we thought it was. “How can we know you two can be trusted?” Jasper asked. “Delilah. What does a white aura mean?” I quickly asked. “Purity” Delilah responded. “I guess you really can’t.. But we can go. We will understand.” Brent replied quietly. “No.” I said quickly, gaining everyone’s attention. “When I look at them all I can see is a white aura.” I added. “What does that mean?” Alley asked. “Purity. It means the soul is pure.” I replied. “How do you know that?” Devin asked. I turned and looked at him, “Do you know the reason one of my eyes is now blue?” I asked. Devon shook his head. “Because Delilah has an ability of her own and that is to see a persons true self. She shared her gift with me.” I said.

“So you can actually see that?” Devin asked. “Yes, I can. I can tell you what I see in yours later but those two are pure white. We can keep them under watch but I don’t want them out fending for themselves when she is pregnant.” I replied. I could see the tears start to form in her eyes and her hands shook. “So you aren’t going to kill us?” Angie asked. “Goddess no. Why would you think that?” Alley asked. “Some stuff we heard but we heard you were all understanding but we didn’t really know and her giant black wolf is really scary.” Brent replied, making me laugh a little. “Yeah Delilah gets very protective especially when my son is around.” I said. “We will look for a way to undo what the elders have done. But until we figure that out you need to see Julie so she can check you and the baby.” I added. “Yes, the last thing we need is something bad to happen. We will work on undoing the spell. Are either of you in pain right now?” Alley asked. “No, not so much but our wolves are slowly getting weaker” Brent replied. “Who am I here to check out?” Julie asked as she bathed in the room. “You are here to see Angie.” I said pointing towards her. “Alright everyone out so I can do what I need to do.” Julie snapped.

She is the only one who is allowed to talk to us that way because truthfully she kind of scared us. None of us replied, we just quickly walked from the room. “Let’s go downstairs and discuss all of this. If Pythia says their souls are pure then I believe her and we need to help them.” Tye said. “We also need to figure out the wolf situation and come up with a way to expand our border patrols if they are looking everywhere around our lands. I told Julie to send them both downstairs when she is done.” Alley replied. “I’ve already extended the shield out to cover everything and I haven’t felt anything so they aren’t out there yet.” Stephen said. As we walked downstairs my thoughts drifted to how many of them actually came to fight versus how many of them came to escape.
