Chapter 46:

Pythia POV:
I didn't feel like being inside all day so I made Tye and Brandon lay out a large blanket while I grabbed a couple snacks and Ambrosia grabbed some drinks for us. The minute she heard about what was happening she came over and inspected me herself and then came back this morning so I wouldn't get bored sitting around by myself. As we walked outside I stopped to see what the boys had done. They had an entire set up for us, the blanket I had picked out was laid out the way I wanted to but I see they added what they wanted as well, they placed umbrellas like you see at a pool at each corner so that we would be shaded, they also put cute little lawn chairs down for us to sit in. "I figured this would be more comfortable for you both." Tye said as he walked up to us. "It is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much." I replied, smiling at him. This was the perfect set up for what Ambrosia and I were going to try to accomplish today.
As we sat down Tye, Brandon and Jackson sat with us. "We can't stay too long, we have a meeting with the others and we need to check on the project for the new house. It's almost finished." Tye said as he laid his head on my belly. This was the new normal for Tye and Apollo, it was like Apollo knew when his daddy was near him. "I can't wait to see the new house even if it is temporary." Ambrosia said. "Well when Brandon finds his mate and our other homes are done being built we will give it to him." Jackson replied. "The way things are going now I highly doubt I will ever find my mate." Brandon said sadly. "Speaking of that, I can help find her if you would like me to." I replied looking at his sad expression that soon changed to a hopeful one. "You can do that?" Brandon asked. "I can, it won't give me a name or anything just a location that she is in." I replied. "Is that safe for you to do?" Tye asked. "Yes, it is not dark magic at all. Dark witches used to help wolves find their mates long ago but stopped when the rivalry started. All I need is some blood and a map." I replied as I ran my fingers through his hair.
Brandon jumped to his feet and ran off, making me laugh. "He really wants to find her, I see." I stated. "Yes he does, as we all do. We don't feel complete until we find our other half." Tye replied. Brandon came running back with a bowl, knife and a large map. The once sad expression that he had was now full of hope. "I will need some herbs that I will have Lillith bring to me, when I have those I will call you back here and we will start okay?" I said smiling at him. My smile was reflected back at me. "Thank you Pythia for doing this for me." Brandon replied. "It is the least I can do for your help." I replied. "Alright we need to get going to our meeting, just mind link me when you are ready for us to come back." Tye said as he stood. I carefully folded the map and placed the knife in the bowl and kept it to the side for later when I knew I would need it. "Should we call on Alley?" Ambrosia asked. "Not just yet. I want to try this myself first." I replied as I sent a text to Lillith with the things that I would need. "Apollo will be gifted with spirit." I stated.
Ambrosia didn't look surprised at all. "In a way I feel like all our kids will be gifted with something." She replied. "What do you mean?" I asked. "In order to keep peace, we have all mated with a different race. I feel like the rest of the girls' children will maintain the council after we are gone but our kids will be gifted to better protect those we will leave behind." Ambrosia replied. Actually that made sense. "I didn't think of it that way." I replied. The end result is everyone living in peace without any worries at all, it is going to take decades to get there but, one way or another we will get there. "So what are you wanting to try?" Ambrosia asked. "Well, the book said I can bend the elements to a certain point, so I wanted to try small stuff first." I replied. It can't be that hard right? Just have to concentrate. I mean Apollo isn't born yet and he can use spirit. I sat on the edge of the blanket and stared at the ground. A simple flower shouldn't be that hard to grow instantly. I don't know where to start with it, as I have watched the other girls and listened to Alley I have a strong feeling that I can do this. Practice makes perfect right?
I placed both my hands on the ground and took a deep breath, I pictured a small dandelion growing up from the ground, how it sprouts when it comes up, pulling its way through the soil. My hands started tingling and fear shot through me, I snatched my hands away inspecting my fingers, hands and arms to see if something went wrong. I don't see any damage but my heart sure felt like it was about to burst at any given moment. Warmth spread through me and I immediately calmed down, I smiled down at my large belly but something else caught my attention. I looked at the ground and saw a little dandelion. I did it! A smile broke out across my face, I did it. I really did it. "You did it! That is amazing!" Ambrosia said excitedly as she sat down next to me. "You had me worried for a moment when you snatched your hand away as fast as you did." Ambrosia said as she lifted my arms and looked over them. "I felt a tingle and it scared me to be honest, Apollo calmed me though." I replied. "He is very tuned in to your emotions then." Ambrosia replied. Yes, he is and right now I am thankful for that or I would have probably had a heart attack.
