Chapter 442 "Honey, tie her up!"

Damian acted as her driver and smoothly arrived at the location she mentioned.

The high-end apartment was located in the city center, with a park below. The apartment towered high, bathed in the sunset, and the glass exterior reflected a golden glow.

Ashley sneered, "How realistic. To live this kind of life again, she would sell anything!"

Damian looked up at the high-rise, unsure where her gaze was fixed. "Is the person you're meeting inside?"

Ashley unbuckled her seatbelt, got out of the car, and leaned in, "Mr. Hearst, please wait here for a moment. I should be down soon. Parking here will get you a ticket, so you should park in the lot over there."

Damian frowned, "Who?"

Ashley, holding her bag, looked a bit downcast, unsure how to describe Paula, "Someone I misjudged."

With that, she walked away, her slender and tall figure moving in the sunset, her shadow lengthening, and her hair blowing in the wind, like a lone heroine going to a meeting.

Damian watched her back, thinking of the charming Ashley in the fitting room, feeling as if time had traveled.

She could be alluring and seductive, or she could be capable and coldly beautiful.

But it seemed that no matter what she was like, he liked her very much.

Frowning, Damian opened the door and got out of the car, following her.

Here.

Finding Paula's residence wasn't difficult. After moving in, she posted a lot on social media, afraid that others wouldn't know how well she was living, always with location tags.

Finding out her floor and apartment number wasn't hard either. Ashley spent fifty dollars to get a woman who collected cardboard boxes to keep an eye on Paula and a phone number.

The elevator ascended and stopped on the twenty-eighth floor.

Ashley composed herself and pressed the doorbell.

She had given Paula a chance, but Paula didn't appreciate it, diving headfirst into the trap of money, unable to extricate herself. So, she couldn't blame Ashley for not considering family ties.

"Who is it?"

The person inside had a bad tone, sounding angry.

Ashley sidestepped to avoid the peephole and slipped inside the moment the door opened.

Paula, seeing it was her, took two steps back uneasily, stammering, "Ashley... how did you know I live here?"

Ashley looked around the apartment's decor. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a view of the city's bustling and luxurious scenery, with a beautiful sunset and park visible. The furniture inside was all international brands, and the round ceiling and crystal chandelier were even more expensive.

But what attracted her most was the men's leather shoes at the entrance.

Not only did she have a luxurious house, but she also found a man..

Life was quite comfortable.

"The rent isn't cheap, is it? Having money really makes a difference."

Paula already knew about Trinity and was in a panic. Facing an unexpected guest, she became even more flustered, laughing dryly, "I just happened to know a friend, so... it's not that expensive."

Ashley crossed her arms, looking at her coldly. She was in a home dress, without makeup, and her hair was unkempt. The master bedroom door was ajar, hinting at the private matters inside.

"I'm here for two things today."

Paula fidgeted with her fingers, glancing at the bedroom, "I have a friend here. Can we talk outside later?"

"No, do you think I have that much free time? We'll talk here."

Paula asked, "What two things?"

Ashley, with a cold face, wanted to see if a person could really have two faces, "First, get out of Rochester City. You can go to Dreamvale or Eurostan, wherever you want."

Paula eagerly said, "No way! I just got back, I'm not leaving!"

Ashley glanced sideways, stepping closer to her, "Do you know about Trinity? Have you seen her? I heard she's disfigured, with multiple fractures, and might be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Do you want to end up like her?"

Paula eagerly grabbed her hand, her eyes welling up with tears, "Ashley, I know I was wrong! I was deceived and used by her. I didn't mean to hurt you. Believe me, Ashley, I really didn't want to hurt you."

Her tone changed quickly. Last time, she didn't have such a good attitude.

Ashley shook off her hand in disgust, "Save your cheap tears! I'm telling you, Paula, I'm not telling Uncle about this for now, giving you your last bit of dignity. If you don't get out of Rochester City within three days, I guarantee your end will be worse than Trinity's!"

Paula's shoulders trembled, looking pitiful, "Ashley."

Ashley leaned in, close to her face, lowering her voice, "Second, hand over the evidence of your secret collusion with Trinity, or you won't even make it to the plane. You might accidentally disappear halfway. Understand?"

Paula's eyes widened, shocked by Ashley's tone, "You're threatening me?"

Ashley pressed her shoulder, "Yes, it's a threat."

"Paula, who is it?"

A man's voice came from inside, followed by a figure wrapped in a towel.

The man had several bite marks on his body, his chest exposed, showing a lean build with faint abs, tall and especially handsome.

He looked familiar.

The man reacted faster, speaking first, "Are you Amelia's sister?"

Ashley also remembered. This man was an actor from Amelia's crew, wasn't he?

Paula was so generous, even getting involved with an actor.

"You know each other?" Paula yelled, clearly suspecting an improper relationship between them.

Ashley said coldly, "Not really, but..." She took out her phone, "Such good news should sell for a lot. Director Glenn's movie isn't finished yet. If it comes out that a male actor is fooling around outside, will your agency blacklist you?"

The man smiled, "That depends on whether you can leave with your phone."

With that, he used his strength advantage to grab Ashley's wrist and take her phone, "Miss, didn't anyone teach you? If you're going to take secret photos, do it secretly. Being so blatant, aren't you just asking for trouble?"

Seeing her male companion so strong, Paula suddenly felt confident, shaking her tense shoulders, "Ashley, didn't expect this, did you? Now, if someone accidentally disappears, can it be used on you?"

Ashley cursed silently. As a woman, she couldn't fight them both, but she quickly calmed down, "Do you think I'd come alone for something this big? You have two minutes, put the phone down!"

Paula spat, hugging the man's arm, "Honey, tie her up! She's too cunning, she must have asked someone for help!"

The man's eyes darted around, bending down to touch Ashley's face, "Your skin is really nice. When you visited the set, many people said you were prettier than Amelia, and your figure..."

He was still eyeing Ashley's curves when Paula screamed, "What are you doing? I'm the one paying you! Tie her up!"

Ashley glanced at him, "Not enough money from acting? Selling yourself? Name a price, I'll pay double."

The man whistled, "Are you serious, miss?"

Ashley sat down, crossed one leg, took out her wallet, and threw it on the coffee table, a corner of a bill showing, "Can't handle it?"

The man leaned over, grabbing Ashley's hand, "You're quite bold, I like it!"

Ashley shook off his hand, "I'll not only pay you double but also keep today's matter a secret. The condition is just one: tie her up."

Paula went crazy, grabbing an ashtray and aiming at Ashley's head, "Shut up!"

Ashley looked up, her gaze as sharp as a knife, "Sir, you only get one chance. Do you want it or not, it's up to you."

Without a word, the man turned and restrained Paula's hands, smiling, "Miss, how do you want to play?"
