Chapter 114

Seoul, Korea
Golden Gardens Hotel

The streets were filled with shouting fans and paparazzi clicking pictures and recording video, others were live streaming the event.

Reporters were shouting questions without getting a response from the actress in the middle of the commotion; too many questions at once, and she was waiting for something, they just didn’t know what.

Security at the hotel had pushed the fans that snuck in back outside and cleared the lobby for Myo Mi-Sun and her security team; Lula had coordinated it and the police presence out front to prevent anyone from getting trampled.

It would prove to be a costly expense, but it was one that was necessary.

Pan Jin was clicking pictures as quickly as she could of the crowd and media, but it was a losing endeavor.

If the unknown threat to Myo Mi-Sun was there, they were hiding in the dense crowd.

After fifteen minutes of photographs, BT5’s Ya Da and Cah So theatrically joined her to the screams and delight of the fans.

Myo Mi-Sun’s lack of surprise to their arrival was a surprise to them.

“Ya Da and Cah So,” Myo Mi-Sun graciously greeted with a slight bow of the head before they could speak. “It is good to see you again.”

Their smiles fell slightly and they looked between each other, confused.

Dae-Ho’s provided reporters were up front and instantly started shouting out questions about why they were meeting up; they were being fed the questions so it was in a controlled environment.

“Is this meeting business related or personal?”

“How is BT5’s new album coming along?”

“Are they collaborating on the soundtrack for Myo Mi-Sun’s next film?”

“Are the romance rumors true that Cah So has finally gotten over his ex-girlfriend?”

“Which model is Ya Da dating this week?”

For a public event they were the standard paparazzi questions, but they shouldn’t have been that prepared for their arrival.

It was, after all, a last minute event crashing they were doing.

But it was as if they were expecting them.

Ya Da smiled, his perfect white smile was from veneers, blue eyes were from colored contact lenses, and bleach blond hair made him stand out from the more natural looking man with him.

He was as fake as they come in the industry.

“We have been huge Myo Mi-Sun fans for years!” Ya Da told the reporters. “Since we are home in Seoul while working on BT5’s next album, and we saw she was in the neighborhood, we dropped everything to say hi.”

Cah So nodded with a smile, his eyes kept flickering to the woman standing with them.

They were under the assumption Myo Mi-Sun was a pushover and wouldn’t protest her event being crashed. But it appeared that she had been waiting for them.

“After seeing beautiful Myo Mi-Sun on the red carpet the other night,” Cah So said. “We just had to take this opportunity to see our favorite Korean actress in person. Wouldn’t you?” he rhetorically asked, getting shouts of agreement from the fans filling the area.

Will provided enough dirt on the two crashing her event and the band, including the struggles it was having with their new album, that Rain could effortlessly ruined their careers with only a few words.

Rain didn’t want to use the information against them.

It went against her nature.

But she’s realizing using such leverage would be against Myo Mi-Sun’s nature, not Seon Rain’s.

Seon Rain wasn’t going to be used any longer.

“Can we get a picture?!”

The two hurried over and sandwiched Myo Mi-Sun between them and smiled and waved for the reporters and fans.

They may have been oblivious to what just happened, but Rain wasn’t.

Kita stepped closer to them, his hand caressing down her back so she knew he was there and that she would be safe.

That was the reassurance and strength she needed.

“I suppose the cat is out of the bag now,” Myo Mi-Sun said with a smirk, stealing the attention of those that selfishly crashed her events for their own gain.
The crow quieted so they could hear her.

“The fans will be jealous to know I have been honored to hear some of the new tracks from BT5’s upcoming album…,” she said, blushing. “I can honestly say that it is the best work from this group of talented Koreans that I’ve ever heard.”

Kita smirked, knowingly.

Rain hadn’t heard any of their songs, ever, but she could lie surprisingly well when needed, and Kita found that strangely attractive.

Ya Da and Cah So looked at her, their smiles falling.

“It was supposed to be a surprise,” she continued, blushing as if embarrassed. “But I guess you caught us. We were meeting to have lunch to go over a shooting schedule for the music video for their upcoming first release from the new album.”

Their eyes widened.

Suddenly the flashes from the cameras filling the area were comparable to a strobe light, and it caused Kita and Lucien to both loosen their jackets more so their guns were more easily accessible.

The shouting reporters and fans made it near impossible to hear anything from those they came to see over the excited crowd.

To the fans and reporters, this was major news! It meant the album K-Pop fans have been eagerly waiting for was nearly done and the label was preparing to shoot a music video for the first release from the album.

That was major.

Not to mention, having Korea’s Sweetheart cast in it was huge news. It was a first for Myo Mi-Sun in her career, and it wasn’t something heard of anymore so that was headline worthy in itself.

Myo Mi-Sun wrapped her arms around Ya Da and Cah So’s waists and smiled; they were stunned.

“Smile for the fans,” she said through a fabricated smile. “That is, after all, why you are here. You are not fans of mine. In fact, you only liked my social media feeds after Bin Ji and Tae-il liked and shared my posts. They have been fans of mine since I was on television and in pigtails. They are the true the Myo Mi-Sun fans.”

They continued to look at her with wide eyes and mouths slightly ajar.

“Now, be the carefree troublemaker bad boy and the roaming eyed romantic that you have expertly portrayed for years, and smile pretty for the cameras,” Myo Mi-Sun said endearingly, but the edge in her tone caused the man behind them chuckle under his breath.

Kita liked this new side of Seon Rain, and as difficult as it would make their working relationship, he rather liked it in a masochistic way.
